Reviews for Miramar Boutique Hotel

Review 1:No lift - access difficult for elderly people. Very noisy - main road went past the hotel. Small bathroom with just a shower.Overpriced for what it was.

Review 2:The insulation of the rooms was not good and we could hear the people upstairs and on the sides so it was tough to sleep in the morning. The room decoration and the bathrooms were quite simple- for the price we expected a bit more refinement.

Review 3:The hotel staff was great and they were willing to help with any type of requests and also very resourceful. The property's restaurant is quite special given the full view of the bay. The hotel is small so it feels quite intimate. I had a wonderful massage. The breakfast is 25Euros but with a great selection of foods.

Review 4:Funny to pay 5€ to beach towels or 6€ to room service Noisy road in front of hotel Weak kitchen for a luxury hotel

Review 5:Nice and friendly staff (not easy to find in France) Clean private beach

Review 6:Nothing! everything was perfect!

Review 7:The rooms very elegant and comfortable, the pool area. Hotel is very calm and peaceful! Food and service at the restaurant are excellent, all fresh. Ocean view and beaches around are truly exceptional. Close to harbor and town.

Review 8:There is some road noise which is a slight shame, but we'd certainly go again!

Review 9:Beautiful view, tastefully laid out and decorated, excellent service on all fronts, lovely pool and 'deck' area. Good food although that's quite expensive. Highly recommended!

Review 10:The price of food, bar and room extras.

Review 11:The staff treated us extremely well. The pool area is perfect to catch the sun and cool down in the pool. The local restaurants are average but cheaper than the hotel.

Review 12:Not enough parking space. They will make you pay if you order ice cubes...I have never seen that in any other luxury hotel.

Review 13:Amazing staff. Very helpful and kind. Gorgeous view and great food. Slightly too noisy (corridor and road exposure).

Review 14:The road is without doubt it's biggest downfall. I think it is the only road that people can travel to get towards the South of the island. You find it very hard to relax when sitting on the balcony with an early evening drink.

Review 15:I loved the pool area and could easily have chilled their for 2 weeks.

Review 16:Staff were very friendly and accommodating, from reception to concierge and restaurant. Nice touch to remember names even if a short stay. We had a lovely room with beautiful views and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful hotel!

Review 17:Overpriced restaurant - room was small - especially low ceiling heights - and excessive road noise and visibility- prevents use of "small" balcony. Make sure to check out cost of using their beach towels - BEFORE -Internet is TERRIBLE - forget keeping in touch with anyone!

Review 18:A longish walk to town centre but the hotel did provide a buggy for transport

Review 19:Great facilities. Plus we were given a room upgrade

Review 20:Room spacious and lovely decorated. Staff very helpfull and friendly.

Review 21:It missed out on the basic facilities of been able to sleep at nigh next to a very very busy road. The wifi was awful very infrequent signal.

Review 22:The internet is not reliable

Review 23:The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent location and nice view. Excellent cuisine.

Review 24:The internet connection is very poor and especially in the villas

Review 25:Lovely & Helpful Staff

Review 26:I had to leave and return home

Review 27:Very friendly and warm staff from the time you enter the outside gate Very clean very calm I love it

Review 28:Gym - 'rubber' fish and lack professional follow-up- location next to main noisy main road

Review 29:Atmosphere/scenery- excellent breakfast

Review 30:dissapointed with the evening meal

Review 31:Bar pricing is ridiculous. 9 euros for a beer, 16 for a calva... Equivalent in town is 2 euros 90 for beer and 10 for calva. We enjoyed a late drink in the bar but mostly walked the 15 mins into town which is a shame as the bar area is very nice. In a 5 star hotel in a city centre I could understand but not at the Miramar.

Review 32:Staff are amazingly friendly and very good, I travel a lot with work and couldn't fault them at all. The location is simply amazing although the road is a distraction but we got used it very quickly.

Review 33:Not a deal breaker, but a bit of an inconvenience: Although there was a room safe in the closet, it was too high for a short person to reach and accessed with a key.

Review 34:Room was clean, spacious and luxurious; hotel has charm and character. Close to beach, pool onsite well kept and walking distance to town. Highlight was the amazing gourmet dinner of local fare one evening.

Review 35:Although it was clear to us that the hotel is located above a road, we were surprised to realize that it was the busy north-south national road. In addition, when sitting on the breakfast terrace the noise of the swimming pool pumps distrubed the morning coffee, as did the permanent Mouzaac-from the loudspeakers

Review 36:The mediterranean touch and the high-quality service + plus the views.

Review 37:Nothing!

Review 38:Miramar Boutique Hotel was absolutely a perfect experience! The combination of the high quality rooms, the very personal service, the warm and enthusiastic people, the spectacular views on the terrace, the breakfast buffet, the quality of all food, the restaurant ' Le Deck' and the ambiance with the different terraces. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time when we are in Corsica!

Review 39:Traffic Cost of early breakfast in room as catching early flight The price of the drinks by the pool was ridiculously expensive The food was excellent, but again very expensive

Review 40:Staff Bedroom decoration Pool Excellent service by concierge

Review 41:Very noisy due to its location above the road and therefore can't be recommended for honeymoon, romance or luxury. Too expensive when you consider the noise.

Review 42:Very nice hotel, nice staff, nice location. Beautiful surroundings, amazing seaview. Very good breakfast.

Review 43:The room terraces are on the road so to be used at more quiet moments. The rooms are sound proof. If you really want a quiet personal terrace for a longer period you should reconsider. The steps to the terrace and pool could be difficult for less valid people.

Review 44:Nothing is perfect so the road could be the only downside at very high season. But the garden/terrace/pool and extremely friendly team of this boutique hotel is wonderful. Breakfast, lunch or dinner on the deck is a very memorable and romantic experience. We especially liked the possibilty to go from small bites to extended menu's, everything of high quality.

Review 45:The food at dinner disgusting like a cheap cafeteria. The pool bar is closed before 10 pm. Apparently, the restaurant and bar is not a competent manager.

Review 46:A beautiful terrace with a great view.

Review 47:Decor is tired and needs upgrading. Personally I didn't like the style of the building, but that's totally subjective. Pity the sea is across the road in front of budget holiday accommodation which looks like an old age retreat, and quite depressing. I cant believe how such an unattractive development was allowed in such a prime position., and access is across a very busy road. Many steps up to your room, to the pool, to the restaurant, the physically challenged would find this hotel difficult to negotiate. The breakfast was expensive and lacked fresh fruit, the lay out was old, fussy and unappealing, and the coffee really bitter and musty, totally incongruous from the innovative and stylish cuisine served at night.

Review 48:Polite, helpful , friendly staff who went out of their way to resolve the WIFI issues in our room. Beautiful well maintained grounds. Panoramic views from the pool/restaurant terrace. Interesting cuisine. The beach across the road is pleasant with beautiful clear water. The Nespresso machine in our room was most welcome, in fact almost a must in 4 star hotels these days, but a selection of tea bags would have been appreciated especially for the English visitor and small sachet of local biscuits.

Review 49:Tolles Hotel

Review 50:Breakfast very expensive (22eur per person for a standard offer)

Review 51:Thé vies of the sea

Review 52:The location

Review 53:Very close to N road

Review 54:Lovely hotel with friendly staff Nice pool good dinner in the "Deck"
