With a 4-star gold rating from the Scottish Tourist Board, The Dormie House is a central Prestwick guest house with a full breakfast menu, free parking and Wi-Fi. Around 10 minutes’ walk from the St Nicholas Golf Club, this South Ayrshire bed and breakfast is also just 6 miles from Troon.

Review 1：Of the three of us one had to sleep on a sofa bed that wasn't the most comfortable. Sofa bed might have been okay for a kid but not an adult.

Review 12：The B & B was simply perfect and for a town location near an airport it was a fabulous place to stay and surprising quiet. This B & B is Immaculate and the decor was absolutely beautiful. As soon as myself self and my partner got there you could not be made more welcome. Nothing was a problem for the owners. The breakfast was fabulous and the best I have ever had to my regret as my partner gave me grief over it as hers is meant to be the best. For Peter and his good lady a B & B to be proud of. I only hope is when we return that we can get a place as this will be my first choice on my return. Exceptional value for money!!!!

Review 19：Only one real 'complaint'; the room was in the roofspace, so the ceiling sloped quite sharply. It makes for difficulty when you're tall like me, and standing up to use the loo was impossible!! :-)
