Reviews for Adamton Country House Hotel
Review 1:Food choice was limited, maybe because hotel was a bit quiet when I stayed.
Review 2:Great service from staff. Room well equipped. Even had a ironing board ,iron and trouser press. Nice and quiet at night.
Review 3:Cleanliness could be better but tricky in an old building I expect.
Review 4:Lots of bad reviews about this place some of which are a bit ridiculous but anyway when you look at the price it's very good value for money. Good night's sleep and huge breakfast - vegetarian too.
Review 5:Poor cleanliness throughout room, bathroom and dining room and generalpublic areas, disgusting food -buffet sat out from 6.30pm to 9.30pminedible! Although no objections to asylum seekers/refugees it wasdisturbing not to have been advised that they were staying there - manyspent at least an hour running about the tennis courts unsupervisedwhilst their security guards were sitting in the dining room havingbreakfast - in fact the chef, kitchen staff were there too - I had toask the chef to cook me some boiled eggs and additional potato scones asthe kitchen porter took them right in front of me (a paying guest!!!)Boiled eggs came on a plate - no egg cups! The duty manager did appearand found me some!
Review 6:Staff were brilliant, many were multi-tasking doing several jobs iebarman, waiter, porter and cleaner (Tom?) Bed was very comfortable. Showerpretty good
Review 7:Didn't have food as wasn't really looking for a buffet dinner
Review 8:Friendly staff that were very helpful when left something in the room and had to come back
Review 9:Very basic badly furnished room. No bedside lamp although there is a strangely placed switch for the main light above one of the beds. Quite cold despite radiator. Bathroom in a bad state of repair. Not really worth the money.
Review 10:Friendly helpful Staff.
Review 11:I only paid 29.99 for my room and 39.99 for my sons room both room very very basic the bathrooms were old and the bath panel on my bath was hanging off to show all the dirt along top of panel. So bath and shower were not used. I would just like to add that I actually clean holiday accommodation and it was poor on the cleaning front. Sorry
Review 12:The staff were friendly and helpful
Review 13:Beds was very low, anr awkward to get into. Uncomfortable. Location difficult to get to without a car. Nothing around it for convenience. Furnishings looked tired, and worn.
Review 14:Food was good in the dining room. Clean.
Review 15:I can appreciate that this hotel is under restoration but in its current state I am astonished a household name like Brittania are still willing to put their name to it and still actively trade. The extremely dated room was dirty, lights not working in bathroom, stained sheets, given a double bed to share (with my father) although twin booked. I could go on forever and worst of all my concerns fell on death ears.
Review 16:Unfortunately there is no positive slant I can put on my one night stay at The Adamton.
Review 17:Poor internet access. This has to change as internet is available only around fireplace in main lobby where small rooter is located.
Review 18:Nice history of hotel, excellent breakfast. Good accommodation for the money.
Review 19:If you run your own business then you must stay here. It will give you Hope! This is in my top three worst hotels, the other two were in Asia.
Review 20:Leaving
Review 21:Send letter complaining of fan I bathroom running permanently. Reported twice to reception and nothing done. Wrote when home but have not had the courtesy of a reply.
Review 22:The old style property was lovely from the outside
Review 23:Low, sleigh, type bed. Hard to get in and out of, location difficult to get to. Nothing around it to get anything, without a car. Hotel in need of a make-over.
Review 24:Good food, helpful staff.
Review 25:Bathroom was a disgusting, blood or other body fluid on bathroom door, toothpaste on the tiles, black and rotten bath panel, black mould around the bath, the mixer did not work so my feet were getting scalded while a trickle came out of the shower.I was in the Annexe, I think that sums the place up it was like an old institution on the stairs with large areas of paint missing from the steel tubular handrails, a new toilet role was strewn in the hallway from my arriving to my departure, so much for houskeeping and a ceiling panel was missing exposing the pipes and cables. Thank goodness I only stayed one night. Avoid this place ! especially the " Annexe" When I tried to complein I was told that there was nobody in authority available?????
Review 26:Bed was comfortable and clean
Review 27:Cleanliness of hotel was questionable inside and outside. Lots of mess inside and outside and staff were not very friendly.
Review 28:Location had such potential -I liked the greenery! - but lots of mess in surrounding area
Review 29:It was basically a work in progress due to renovation works lots of areas being decorated. As a publican I was disappointed in the bar I didn't think it was customer friendly or clean enough
Review 30:Fantastic setting so much potential. I would go back in the future but not as a priorty choice - sorry
Review 31:The bathrooms are requiring updating our bath felt unsafe when standing in it and we are not heavy people. It was reported to the reception. Food could be improved but there was plenty to eat.
Review 32:Second stay in one year.Distance from the ferries, quiet, plenty parking. Nice to see improvements on going.
Review 33:Partly my fault (and yours). I looked for an airport hotel, not realizing that this property was near Prestwick and not Glasgow International. But, evening buffet was poor - cold vegetables, tough Beef Bourguignonne, etc. Our room was in the annex - tiny, souless.
Review 34:Nothing.
Review 35:Rooms were of a poor standard, no WiFi although was advertised on site, building works going on in grounds of hotel, room more like student accommodation
Review 36:Breakfast was bearable, though not well organised, main hotel was beautiful though our room was in an annex.
Review 37:No a la carte menu for evening meal. A very poor buffet only. Excuse was that they were catering mainly for coach parties. Selction poor . Cookls walking in and out dining area not wearing head covering. I served better food on construction sites in Scotland. Bathroom shower facility was poor . An old fashioned unit connected to bath taps. TV in room was very small and very hard to view from bed. They are building a new reception area that looks like it was bought from IKEA. Not in keeping. Staff not very helpful but appeared overworked and harrassed.
Review 38:Location is very attractive in fine old building.
Review 39:Our room was away from main hotel and was a building site lots dirty carpets dirt all over undercoat on all corridor walls and doors. The room we used was very tired.Staff indifferent
Review 40:Location was good
Review 41:No wifi outside the foyer area No coverage of telco inside the building. 500m walk to get to room. Shower control didn't work. Bed uncomfortable
Review 42:Nice concierge, Robert - very helpful. Great bar.
Review 43:Had to change rooms twice due to problem with extractor fans in bedroom, apparently one in room 8 permanently on stayed in room ten could constantly hear fan below changed to 25 worse ended up in room 1. Breakfast poor food either over or undercooked .
Review 44:Staff very helpful when having to move rooms. Took until midnight to sort out. Room ten was very hot and smelled awful of fried food as though cooking fumes. Staff were helpful and did not question our requests to be moved .
Review 45:Meals were extremly poor. Room decor was bland. At times noisy machinery started up during the night for about 45 minute periods. A complaint lodged with reception about a broken chair leg was not dealt with. Manager said the note of the complaint had been lost.
Review 46:The room was of poor standard, handle broke off when opening the wardrobe. The shower didn't work properly. From outside I was very impressed with the hotel until I actually checked into the room. I would not recommend the hotel.
Review 47:We loved the location, the staff attitude, entertainment. And have recommended it to all our friends. THE only glitch television reception, but our days were to full for that to be a problem,
Review 48:... but the staff were too eager to take away empty plates even before we had finished. I believe plates should not be removed till all people at the table have finished or until customer moves it from in front of him.
Review 49:The breakfast was very good.....
Review 50:Don't get me started. As someone who has stayed and worked in hotels, this hotel takes top prize... For worst hotel ever!
Review 51:The fact you can leave the car when going away for a week!
Review 52:Not a bad experience, but it was disturbing as we arrived from the airport at midnight, to find numerous men hanging around drunk, in the driveway and near to rear door.
Review 53:it was very convenient to Watsons Car Parking,
Review 54:This hotel is like the land that time forgot. Dingy, old fashioned with no redeeming features at all. I was there for 4 nights while working in the area and was very glad to leave. Will never return.
Review 55:Staff seemed ok. Location was ok. Apart from that there was nothing to like.
Review 56:car parking totallyinadequate, vehicles scattered everywhere. Building works etc going on all around hotel. Sleeping accomodation in new wings, not lovely Victorian original building. This place has obviously expanded but without updating facilitiez. Full of coach parties of elderly people being catered for en masse.
Review 57:Staff friendly and helpful. Old building looks lovely, but its not where you stay!
Review 58:Words fail me to come up with something good, no friendly welcome, worse than a rabbit Warren to find our room, we asked for a double room, got a twin. Tea was from 6.30 till 9 pm, by 8.30 it was all gone, no friendly staff to help at breakfast time, nothing labelled to know what things were. Just plain unacceptable.
Review 59:This hotel does not have a pay phone or wifi in the rooms. It was difficult to get a wifi signal in the main rooms. NO hot water for showers and buffet dinner was not very appetizing.
Review 60:Very beautiful manor house, to bad the furniture was nice but too modern for the room.
Review 61:refurbished annex - still some building materials, debris visible. lack of signage to find your room. staff appeared very busy and didn't really have time for any personal touch
Review 62:newly refurbished room, good food for dinner and breakfast, friendly staff but over worked
Review 63:We stayed in the annexe and a group of smokers were always congregated beside the exit at the foot of the stairwell. Whilst on the stairs or opening a window the smell of smoke was very noticeable.
Review 64:The general ambiance on a busy weekend.
Review 65:Walk from bus stop partly paved. Shower very difficult to control.Reported screw protruding wall above shower nothing done! A group of mencongregated every evening in courtyard below windows , smoking, laughing&SHOUTING till about 11pm reported, nothing done, doors that theyused were permanently open making the corridor very cold & smellingof smoke. Building very tatty with ongoing works.
Review 66:Staff were very good, nice veiws of countryside. Tea & coffee makingfacilities.
Review 67:The annexe we stayed in was in the process of being brought up to date The room was extremely basic and felt unfinished and a lot of noise from corridor and constant banging of the corridor door
Review 68:Good location in nice surroundings Friendly relaxed atmosphere main part of hotel was lovely
Review 69:Buffet for lunch and breakfast. Choice very limited , food was barely warm. Corridor door next to room squeaked loudly as it slowly closed.
Review 70:Staff were friendly
Review 71:Almost everything else!!! 1. GPS coordinates were not accurate, took me to the gate of a field! 2. Not informed at booking that there was ongoing works, inside the building, painters and workmen and the smell of paint! 3. The shavings from the previous guest were still in he hand basin in the bathroom. 4. Bath/shower was not clean. Scum all along the edge and rims. 5. WiFi was so poor and only in the lobby. 6. No phone in rooms. 7. No mobile networks available. 8. No information leaflets in rooms. Etc...Etc....
Review 72:The old styler house, grounds and breakfast.
Review 73:the attitude of the staff, the lock on my door not working, no wifi in my room, poor quality of fixtures and fittings, mould in the bathroom, people smoking outside my window...... That's probably enough to be going on with!
Review 74:Leaving!
Review 75:Room and bathroom a bit dated. Shower fluctuated wildly between hot and cold due to mixer tap. Decent enough value for price and did the job!
Review 76:Excellent location for Scottish Airshow!
Review 77:Had great trouble getting on the Internet. Hotel under reservation, was not informed about this. Room was very small and bed was uncomfortable. Room was also very noisy, had two very poor nights sleep. Will never go there again.
Review 78:Nothing
Review 79:When I booked it asked what was reason of stay and i said it was a treat for hubby's 50th but instead room was small and twin beds and not very nice not a romantic weekend at all
Review 80:Looked a lovely place where it was situated
Review 81:My Husband and I stayed here on Saturday (05/09/15) for the Scottish Air Show. We were not advised of any works at time of booking and requested a quiet room. On arrival the hotel was extremely busy (fully booked) and there was no available parking so left to park on grass. We were given our room key and had to walk to the annexe through areas of extensive refurbishment. The door handle was rattling around in the hole in the door. The room was clean but extremely dated and bare. The bathroom was very old with the over bath shower having very poor power due to most of the water spurting up the wall from the tap mechanism. Having requested a quiet room I was pleased to be so far from the bar area and almost at the end of a corridor - what we did not know is that the room next door was inhabited by Contractors (who are long term guests it seems) who proceeded, along with friends it would seem) to be back and forth ALL NIGHT banging not only room door but also corridor doors, until after 5am!! Suffice to say Husband and I had little sleep and when complaining to reception the following morning was asked "why did you not tell the porter?", so am obviously expected to walk hundreds of feet in my PJ's in the middle of the night to find someone!! Ever hopeful that breakfast would help sustain us for the long day ahead after no sleep we were to be sorely disappointed here too. The bread provided for toast was cheap and nasty and with no tongs provided we had to use hands to take from serving platter to toaster. The cheapest possible sausages were tasteless and the bacon, obviously oven baked, was served in slabs where the slices were not separated prior to cooking. There was no juice, a poor selection of cereal, large pots of coffee and tea (hugely wasteful & stewed) and too few staff to effectively clear tables in a timely manner. All in all, we were hugely disappointed and will be writing directly to the hotel too.
Review 82:Location was OK for us, building itself it beautiful and in a great setting. Staff did best they could considering they were extremely understaffed for number of guests.
Review 83:NOTHING AT ALL.
Review 84:ALL THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE STAY WAS GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND THAT THERE FEW PLACES I KNOW OF WHERE YOU WOULD GET A GOOD 3 COURSE DINNER FOR £8.95.
Review 85:The place is like a maze,an absolute nightmare to find the room. When we did find it, the room was freezing, even with heater on full blast. Shower was poor - lukewarm and weak. Not a lot of choice for food, which is a problem given it's location. The free WiFi had very weak signal also which was inconvenient considering we had travel plans by email that we would have liked to look over for early the next morning. The place was full of mature guests whom seemed to appreciate the peace and quiet so perhaps just not suitable for us. Kinda wished we had kept it simple and booked travel lodge instead.
Review 86:Receptionist was reasonably helpful.
Review 87:nothing, service was non existing, no wifi, which was supposed to be available, paid for a double room, which was a single room with a double bed, food was appalling, manager did not give a damn, hotel should be renamed motel,no room service, meals finish at 9pm, can't get sandwiches, air show was on and all the crew were left hungry, this place is the worst i have ever come accross, for what we were charged
Review 88:Dirty plates and crockery at breakfast! We asked for a double room at booking and got given two singles. The reception staff (late night check in) were very very poor. The guy just couldn't be bothered to help. We were never given a key and never told when abd where was breakfast.
Review 89:staff present on front desk at arrival and leaving who was a gentleman called robert was great very helpful and welcoming also young lad in breakfast room was pleasant and helpful others in breakfast area could try smiling breakfast was poor not enough food out for guests refilling took staff a long time
Review 90:No wi-fi in room as advertised and wi-fi did not work in the restaurant. Reported broken shower on the first morning of my stay and it was never fixed. Very noisy early in the morning with on-going maintainence and tour buses. Receptionist was not very friendly when I enquired about staying an extra night, telling me dogs were not permitted in the room I had, even though they allocated the room and charged me £10 a night for the dog. (I never stayed the extra night because if her attitude). Not very helpful when I asked about eating as the dog was not allowed in bar or restaurant and if I wanted to eat in my room, I had to go to the restaurant to order it. This hotel mainly caters for people going to the airport and bus tours and it seemed that the bus tours were more important than others. In need of an up-grade
Review 91:Room and breakfast was ok. The cleaners were very friendly.
Review 92:It was very dated, rooms very small. Hallways dirty and lots of work going on. Wouldn't stay there again. Breakfast was a farce, staff not very helpful and no clean tables.
Review 93:Food was disgusting! Please don't eat here. First off it was self serve which after sitting for 10 mins looking at the staff chatting we eventually asked and got told to get it ourselves. No drinks provided, you had to go to bar and take your own through, we were offered sauces and asked for tomato which you would think they would have to hand but no they had to go and get some which took ages and we had choked down what we could of our meal before it came! Staff also had no idea what they were doing, felt like it was everyone's first shift (maybe it was?!) anyway breaded fish and macaroni on menu both dry as a bone and no taste at all, chips also dry you could hardly swollow them! Please don't eat here, drive to Ayr it's only a few mins and by the looks of things nice places to eat!
Review 94:Location was fine for airport, rooms comfortable enough.
Review 95:Sorry, the huge table lamp is hidden undamaged inside the Pirate treasure chest.
Review 96:As above.
Review 97:I didnt like anything.it was not has it was described in booking photos. Entrance put us off first thing. Poor quality of hotel when was exspecting more.poor all round. Building work not mentioned in bookings.would not have booked otherwise.smell of smoking in annexes. No room service.first room had big hole in bathroom nearly fell over.rooms small.doors in hallways bagging allnight.we will not go again.im upset will not book with you again.had a bad stay in blackpool with booking.com aswell.its not good you should inspect property before being a agent.its poor standards all round.mr goodwin.
Review 98:Booked a double were giving a twin until we complained. The out buildings were not welcoming. We couldn't get food and had to order a takeaway.Receptionist didn't seem very interested.
Review 99:The grounds were lovely. The staff staff were nice and friendly.
Review 100:A tourits coach arriving at 3.00am outside our bedroom window. Very confusing bedroom layout due to the building design. A map of the building highlighting your bedroom should be provided. We were not the only visitors confused by this.
Review 101:The hotel is an absolute hovel. It is completely run down and in desperate need of repair. This included holes in the walls, bare staircases, carpets with holes, ceilings with holes. Old fashioned coloured bathroom suite with over bath shower which goes from freezing to dangerously scalding depending on if a toilet is flushed elsewhere in the hotel. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together and pushed into a nook that meant we couldn't get round either side of the bed.
Review 102:It's pet friendly
Review 103:Evening meal very poor and instructions regarding dinner being included in price poor, I paid 2 nights and wS told nothing, it's very out of the way an not easily found still debating where the 19.5 acres are??
Review 104:The room was lovely and breakfast was lovely not a huge choice but unlimited on what was there.
Review 105:Grounds not kept tidy. Evening meal set menu and serve yourself could have been warmer. Staff in restaurant could have been more helpful. Hostess tray lacking in a biscuit and decaff coffee. No Scottish beer un bar. Quite a few residents was asking for Scottish beer.
Review 106:Big beautiful building. Bed comfy.
Review 107:where to start looked like a building site on arrival dirty room dirty bathroom loud as next to airport had planes flying low over and jets being woken up at 6.30 by the coaches starting up in morning house keeping strolling into my roomat 9.00 am whilst still in bed annex looks like a prision block
Review 108:checking out
Review 109:It was a building site breakfast was very poor and staff were not helpful annexe is not shown in its proper light it is 1970's accommodation .i paid in full when I arrived for two nights and came away after one. No refund?
Review 110:Absolutely nothing
Review 111:This hotel is clearly trying to start running way before it is ready to. There is a lot of building still going on but this was far from high on the list of poor impressions. Large trolleys of dirty sheets on the sides of pathways that were not moved or cleared while I was there. A lot of litter strewn around pathways and lawns. Stairwells also clearly not checked on a daily basis for litter, spilt wine etc. Several staff on duty and very quiet when I arrived. The sheer number of annexes and the temporary paper signage are confusing. No one offered to carry luggage until I finally became very despairing and a very kind teenage member of staff offered to carry my case up to the final floor. Lifts out of order. Got to room and put key in the door. Room had not been cleaned. Found a housekeeper who had nothing on her list to say room was to be occupied. Returned to reception while she carried out cleaning. No complimentary drink/coffee offered. Room good once in though second bed badly assembled and impossible to adjust hot water from scalding. No cleaning or resupplying of tea, coffee etc. Seemed there was no-one in charge here.
Review 112:Location
Review 113:Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. .Food was very good. Nothing seemed to be a problem.. Robert and Karen at the reception were very good and very informative, my compliments to the morning shift Chef " John McAlveny " who ran a great ship, the ships crew is only as good as the Captain. " WELL DONE " . I strongly suspected that the over-all compliment of staff was not as it should be, but it was an enjoyable stay.
Review 114:Wifi is being upgraded but was poor when we were there
Review 115:Quirky but excellent value especially if you need to get to the airport. Food a bit like school meals but good and the chef copes well with bus party demands.
Review 116:Very out dated. Very much like army barracks. Electrical points loose on the wall with a light switch hanging off the wall. Broken chair in the room. Fire stairs getting used to store beds in at the bottom of them.lots of rubbish in the grounds roads a mess windows need a good clean and very under staffed.
Review 117:The surrounding area of the Ayrshire Coast is very nice.
Review 118:This is not a hotel but,at best, a poor hostel. Needs to be closed and completely updated. It has been a long time since I stayed anywhere as disgusting - and that was when I was backpacking around India and only paying a few pounds for the pleasure! Never again - avoid this place like the plaque!
Review 119:Hotel staff pleasant at check in despite working in such a sub standard establishment.
Review 120:Was so glad to be staying in the main house, would not have liked to be in the annex.... it doesn't look great!
Review 121:Robert at Reception was a star! Couldn't have been more helpful! So friendly and chatty and nothing was a task for him!
Review 122:We stayed here one night with our one year old daughter. This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. We booked this hotel because we were visiting prestwick to see family and hadn't realised it was a race weekend. By the time we booked this was literally the only hotel left. It can't be that bad we thought.. We were wrong.I booked a twin room, and also called the night before to make sure there was enough space for our travel cot. When we arrived we were unable to find reception and followed a road round the back. We noticed at the time that there were overflowing bins and coaches parked outside. This must be the back entrance we thought.. We drove back round and found somewhere to was signposted as the restaurant. I went in and reception was a small desk at the door. The surly girl on the desk charged £110 to my card and then handed he a key. There was no discussion about the hotel, or breakfast, or wifi or indeed anything. I asked her where the room was and she indicated that we should follow the road round 'to where the bins are'. So we went back round to the bins, and found a row of rooms that looked as if they should be demolished, with a fire door that was held open. We went in and found our room. The first thing we noticed was the buckets in the floor outside. This was to catch the drips coming from the ceiling, which looked as if it was just about to fall in. We then couldn't get in the door to the room because the door handle was hanging off and the key didn't work properly. Once in, much to our surprise, things actually got worse... The room was tiny, and had a small bed in the middle (we ordered a twin room because my daughter sometimes comes into bed with us for a feed during the night and a double is never big enough).
Review 123:We booked on price because we just needed an overnight bed, however, the décor in the room was extremely tired and dated, and I found very long dark strands of hair in the bath Apart from that it was great.
Review 124:all your staff were brilliant.
Review 125:I phoned the hotel to make sure it was disabled friendly and was told byJen that I would need to negotiate 2 stairs which I can manage withdifficulties. On arriving I found the Manager Robert saying the only wayin to the Annexes or the hotel was by way of 6+ stairs, and his answerwhen we complained was "have a think about it". Obviously theplace was not fit for my needs. Due to all hotels in the area of Ayrbeing already booked up we had no choice, eventually after being helpedup 6 stairs one of the chambermaids (Margaret) asked why I had not usedthe ramp beside the lift. I said I was not aware and she said go backand ask for a room in annexe 7 instead of 2 which were allinterconnecting. When I asked the Manager Robert he said he was fairlynew and forgot about it, but granted this. Strange or what! As you wouldthink this would be an important aspect of the hotel. The annexes werein a shocking state to say the least, no lampshades, no curtains, nocoathangers, the bedside light didn't have a long enough cord toreach the plug and worst of all no phone and when we queried this Robertsaid use your mobile except some places you don't get a signal. Ispoke to other guests to see if it was just us that had been treatedbadly and was told that Faulty Towers would give them a good run forthere money. So overall I would not recommend to anybody, especiallydisabled!!
Review 126:The fact we arrived at about 12 checked had a room told yes but to early to check in which we new went away and returned at 10pm to be told there wasn't a room
Review 127:Breakfast was terrible for the price they charge they have a very old style of keeping food warm all it does is make it go dry and hard with the overhead heating
Review 128:Plenty of parking
Review 129:The room was NOT serviced on two ocasions. When i complained they did not seem concerned. The roomwas only properly serviced on my last night. towels were not changed, bed not made, bins not emptied, mugs not washed. Not what I would call value for money. This is my second stay and unfortunately it will be my last!!
Review 130:Reasonably quiet and restful
Review 131:walls had dampness, paint flaking from walls, lights had no shades, shower bath wasn't working, silicone hanging from shower screen, radiator/heating wasn't going...
Review 132:not much to be honest
Review 133:Reception staff dour and abrupt on arrival unsure about rooms being available came back later and waited 11/2 hrs in queue eventually got 3 rooms but not what was booked . curtains hanging off, shower not working, no coat hangers and one bed hard up against the radiator which would not turn off, constant hum from a motor outside and roads in very poor condition Food poor unappetizing
Review 134:Nothing, was glad to leave
Review 135:Rang hotel in advance to inform them that I would not be checking in until after the wedding I was at which finished at 0015. This was due to arriving in ayr at 1300 from London and the wedding was at 1400. Therefore I rang ahead to let the hotel know the day before the wedding (thurs 30/7), spoke to a female member of staff that I would be checking in to my paid room after attending the wedding and would be arriving at the hotel at 0045
Review 136:Rang hotel in advance to inform them that I would not be checking in until after the wedding I was at which finished at 0015. This was due to arriving in ayr at 1300 from London and the wedding was at 1400. Therefore I rang ahead to let the hotel know. Therefore there was nothing I liked as there was no room for me which was paid for in advance by my friend.
