Review 1：That we had to use the car to visit the city

Review 2：Very good hotel near the city center. Large clean rooms and bathrooms. Free good wi fi.Our room had it's own xp windows desktop computer. Very good spa with helpful staff. Very nice lobby and restaurant.The breakfast was one of the best we've tasted in Greece and beyond. For hunters of fortune works Thrace casino just next door.The lack of good beach just in front of the hotel, replaced by the many pools of the hotel and nice beaches close to it. Highlly recommended.

Review 3：Staff in the restaurant were rude. No even a single person was smiling and every time we were asking for something more or extra they were giving us a nasty look. At the check out we had to wait for approximately 40 mins coz they had made a mistake in the price of our room (they asked us for more money) and it took them ages to understand what was going on and how they could fix that problem. they told us that the price on their system was different than the price we booked it from booking.com.

Review 5：We arrived at the hotel without reservation because on booking.com website showed that they had available rooms. The reception staff(Taner) told me they had no free double room. I left the hotel searching for an internet cafe so I can make a reservation in another place. As I was searching for another hotel .. On booking.com still showed availability for a room for 4 at Alexander Hotel. I made the reservation (even though we were only 2 ) and returned to the hotel. Apparently they had no room for 4 ( even though I payed for it) and they offered a double room! So.. If reception staff woulda been honest from the start ..things coulda been much better saving me time and energy !

Review 7：As long as we talk about the room, words such as comfort and design can describe our impressions. Also, the hotel is fully equipped with everything that could get you relaxed all day. Breakfast was just great!

Review 8：The hospitality and kindness. Restaurant dinner the hostess save my live with a tea and medicine for my stomachache. Breakfast was excellent too with a lot of variety.

Review 9：Beds were too hard and they didn't even put a binding cover on two single beds that were trying to pass for a twin bed so there was a gap. The air conditioning did not turn off or turned back on in the middle of the night.

Review 23：Would give the hotel 10 out of 10 but its beach and beach access are not good. The staff were excellent, the breakfasts fantastic, the pool great and the rooms wonderful. Close to great fish restaurants and other beach areas where there is no charge for parking, umberellas or sun beds.

Review 24：The family room is not a 5-star room, sorry! If you want luxury, you have to take the superior double, where we stayed for 4 years in a row.The family room is actually an economy room of 3 -stars, because you have space for a larger family, but it is not as comfortable as the superior double, especially the bathroom,the beds,the patio...The wi-fi coverage is horrendous,in order to maintain a stable wi-fi signal you have to go all the way to the dining room and it is a long way indeed:) Finally, I have to talk about the hotel's beach, that does not exist ,after all these years,and it is a shame,because it would be wonderful to spend your holiday on the beach,close to the hotel...and not in your car,looking for a stoneless beach:))))

Review 41：There was an ill bird at out balcony and we informed the reception aboput it. They told us that they are going to care for the bird. When we returned at night we found it was left dead:( In the morning I asked about it and the only answer I could get was since it was dead our service people perhaps did not take it out. What a shame!

Personell haven´t provide us all necessary information (for example - free towels for beach, free entrance at casino, we had to remind them about free wine and fruit basket) and when we came, we had to carry our luggage by ourself, they didn´t help us or did not give us trolley.

Review 70：Comfortable hotel, clean, not too many people at the beach (what we like and what we were looking for). Seawater is clean. Personell are polite, especially at the restaurant. It is, also, very quiet at night. Food is good. Overall, we are pleased with our stay at the price we have paid.

Review 83：The hotel should not be 5 stars. Especially, if you decide to visit it during the weekend, at those days there are weddings in the restaurant which is just under the rooms. The noise is unbearable even with closed windows. Inspite of our numerous requests at 1 am the staff did NOTHING to keep the noise down and the whole event lasted till 3am. On the next morning we asked the reception how often are weddings held at the restaurant and the reply was: "Not so often, about 3-4 times a month", which means almost every weekend. In addition, the poor quality of the breakfast( especially the vegetables) and the impolite staff( except the young man at the reception). Overall, the visit was very dissapointing.
