Review 1：No bad experience. Our ground floor room (which was an upgrade) was adjacent to the bar toilets. Not ideally situated but not the worst problem in the world.

Review 18：The hotel is set in a beautiful village just south of Stratford On Avon and we enjoyed walks in the surrounding area. The greeting was very warm and friendly and the hotel was very clean. The menu and the meals were excellent, with first class chef's serving better meals than I have had in some 5 star hotels and restaurants.

Review 19：Stated location of 1 mile from Stratford centre was incorrect. Wifi only effectively available in public areas downstairs.

We had to wait ages for the carvery to be manned and even those who'd ordered off the menu were served before we were able to get our food. In the morning breakfast was 8.30 to 9.30 we got there about 9,05 and there was hardly any hot food left. Although they did make toast for us we didn't feel that we could ask for all the rest. The quality of the food, however, was excellent

Review 22：The staff were absolutely lovely. We were made to feel welcome from the start, and as if nothing was too much trouble. I felt very at home here. I also liked that the rooms were in a separate building. We had our own front door key and could come and go as we pleased without disturbing anyone.

Review 23：For the amount of money we had paid for the stay wasn't what we were exspecting. The amount that it should of been from the overall package would be £60 tops no more. The smell of the room was muggy and smelt of old cigarettes. The appearance of the room wasn't what it was on the pictures and was very old looking and not modern. The walls were very thin and I couldn't sleep due to hearing everything was happening from other people staying. Myself and my boyfriend were celebrating our engagement and were very disappointed as the hotel slightly dampened our spirits.

Review 38：Further away from Town Centre than I'd realised, it says it's in Stratford Upon Avon whereas it's about 2 miles from the town centre. No buses on a Sunday and no park and ride on a Sunday from the nearby Waitrose. The welcome could have been warmer, not very smiley. We asked if there was any food available and got the reply 'not at this time', as if it was 2.05 am rather than 2.05 pm. There were no menus to indicate what was on offer for evening meals yet if we wanted to eat there in the evening we had to let them know well beforehand.

Review 42：While the room was clean, it was very old-fashioned. Even a new bedspread would have made a big difference. Most of the staff were really nice, one man who was on duty in the morning however, was quite rude and unhelpful.

Review 43：disappointed on two fronts , firstly breakfast times mid week , way too early finish time 9 am is a nonsense for a tourist area ,I am disabled and not able to be ready for that time so missed our breakfast having paid for it , secondly we had paid for two nights and had to return home due to a family illness and resultant bereavement so we paid 140 pounds plus we purchased dinner for one nights stay with no breakfast , when we asked if any chance of rebate we were told the manager would need to decide that and we would be contacted , one week on still no contact , very very disappointed now back in Scotland will never return to this establishment no reply is so discourteous given the circumstances

Review 47：The mgt. had been advised of an early breakfast req't. On exiting upstairs room found door from stairway (fire exit) locked. I am a disabled guest. I had to bang on door to attract staff in kitchen. It appeared that door may have been locked all night. Accepting that the bar is accessible from this stairway, when not manned could present a security problem. However, these arrangements should be reviewed before a tragedy might ensue.

Review 56：Smelly access upstairs to bedrooms from bar and toilets area. Initially I was allocated a room over gents toilet. Plus it had a 4 poster bed squeezed in room with 200 year old dirty looking cover on it. Asked for different room. Queried cost as I had paid £140 for 2 nights and friend had paid £105. for 2 nights so I was expecting to get a superior room. (When booked there had been no cheaper rooms at same rate available). He said all rooms cost the same. Seems I paid for 2 people in one room and my friend paid rate for her as a single in one room. Then thought stay would be ok as had nice room. Looked like hers (no.7) Mine was number 2. BUT soon discovered walls paper thin, door banging, room right over reception and dining area and loud speaker for piped pop music all evening. Did not go out that eve as exhausted long day but after 3 hours telephoned reception and complained as noise from both adjoining bedrooms either side, plus pop music coming through the floor and could not hear my TV. He agreed to turn music down which he did. Thin duvet and no spare blankets or duvets and was so cold slept most of night in my clothes.Heating came on about 9.30pm for a while. They did supply me with a second duvet the second night which I asked for after the first morning 's breakfast. Second evening noisy too with birthday party in restaurant area. My friend paid less and got a quiet room on the wing away from the noise of the restaurant and bar. POINT was I asked for a quiet room and when telephoned to check payment on Saturday reiterated this and he said the hotel was generally quiet. Elvis cover band due to play on Friday eve. TG wasn't staying then!

Review 59：We received a very warm welcome after driving a short distance from Stratford upon Avon. Together with the breakfast being included in our rate and the free parking, the New Inn represented good value. In addition, the restaurant menu was extensive and the food excellent!

Review 101：The WiFi didn't work in our room so we had to sit in the public bar trying to find the best location for a signal. This was annoying as we had to make some bookings for the next day. Our room was up stairs which was very difficult to manage our luggage. An elderly person wouldn't be able to do this.

Review 119：Tiny room with zero ventilation except two small windows one of which didn't open at all (we did ask for the key and were told it was unlocked...um, no, it wasn't), and the other of which opened a teeny crack. Paid for breakfast but kitchen not open early enough so packed us ham and cheese sandwhiches (thanks for the effort but...) and gave it to us to keep overnight. In the stuffy room with no fridge or ventilation. Extremely poor wifi except in lobby.
