Reviews for Cretan Villa
Review 1:Shower curtain too short. Floor gets wet.
Review 2:Lovely modern apartment. Well equipped. Convenient location. Quiet but shops, restaurants and beach within 5 min walk.
Review 3:The bathroom was a bit tricky, without ventilation...
Review 4:We loved the attitude of the owner, super helpful with everything. The rooms were really nice with an authentic, traditional character
Review 5:The bathroom was clean but it also felt a bit cheap, there were not curtains in shower.
Review 6:Spacious apartment, two separate rooms, the bathroom was comfortable. It’s location is in the center, close to the sea side – port where you can get your boat to Chrissi island. I liked the decoration of the hotel, although the decoration of our apartment was not something special.
Review 7:The host was fabulous. We losted in the city and did not find the hotel. He arrived with motoroller , took one of us to backseat and guided us to hotel. This lovely hotel
Review 8:Charming traditional style and nice atmosphere. Close to everything in a quiet location (pedestrian street). The owner gave a lot of information. Clean and cosy. Will be back!
Review 9:We would have preferred if they offered a small breakfast but we knew before.
Review 10:Nice house. Cozy and clean rooms. No breakfast but coffee in the morning. Situated in a quiet street rather close to the old city centre and the sea. Price ok.
Review 11:As it is with many properties in Greece, the shower was a bit tight and the curtain kind of sticks to you as you showered.
Review 12:Location was good. Rooms were spacious and well decorated. The place was very clean. Owner was very friendly and helpful providing maps, giving us tips on things to see or do in the area. Was able to get a parking spot close to the door - but the street is being pedestrianized.
Review 13:Friendly atmosphere, very clean tradionally decorated rooms, in walk distance from the port, shops, tavernas and the castle. Manolis the owner is keen to help you and advice how to make the best holidays in ierapetra and nearby places. Listen to him and you will not regret it!
Review 14:- be ready to fight some mosquitos (but it is not too bad; and no one can do sth against them)
Review 15:- super friendly and helpful! - it is nice to come "home" after a long day of excursions - spacious - infrastructure (shops, bakery, city centre, sea, pharmacy)
Review 16:My husband and I both like discovering the people who live where we visit. Manos made time to suggest where we could go to see so much more than other tourists. We drove for hours and saw what we had never imagined. I strongly suggest that those who want to visit make the effort to value what it takes to live in Crete... conserving energy means that your air conditioner is used for your comfort while you are there and just have fun!!
Review 17:The owner explained all the best places to eat and places to go based on our interests. The building is charming built from stone with loads of character. The room was basic but had all that we needed, air con, fridge and everything was well maintained. The bathroom was small but actually fine. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the waterfront. We had a car and visited sights in the area. The town was a good base for doing this.
Review 18:The bed was too short (even though I am not so tall with 1,77m) and the pillows were very hard. We are usually not sensitive to that but ours weren´t great and we could only get one replacement.
Review 19:The hosts were very nice and the entire place spotlessly clean and cozy!! We will definitely come again when spending time in Ierapetra.
Review 20:very well renovated house, large room, nice personnel, few minutes to the beach
Review 21:overpriced, old bathroom
Review 22:traditional decoration, perfect location, friendly host
Review 23:The owner was very helpful and provided as with a lot of important information about the area (shops, restaurants, sights, etc)
Review 24:everything! beautiful hotel, very comfortable, clean, excellent location, and Manos was very helpful and kind!
Review 25:Mano complemented our stay with many useful tips about places to see and to eat. He couldn't have been friendlier.
Review 26:Nothing to not like.
Review 27:I liked everything about the hotel, stalk amenities location price cleanliness. Excellent.
Review 28:Manos gave us so many ideas on what to do in the Village and area.
Review 29:terrible bathroom, very small, without curtains on the shower...
Review 30:the rooms amd the common part are very pretty
Review 31:The Villa seems to include elements of older buildings in its reconstruction, and the result is spacious and interesting. It is nicely away from the noisy bustle of the beach area and is very quiet in the evenings and nights. I found Manos an generous and engaging host who was very willing to go far to make his guests fully comfortable. I would be delighted to return.
Review 32:The mattress was too firm for me.
Review 33:We really liked the hotel. Its was beautifully decorated. The host was helpful and check in was smooth. The room was very clean.
Review 34:the pictures on the walls are not my taste but does it really matter?
Review 35:The host and the family are friendly and lovely people to talk to. They give you any information or help you need. You feel at home. The room was nice and clean, so was the bathroom. The location close to the seafront and the local shops (bakery, cafe).
Review 36:Navigating one-way road system - difficult to locate on first attempt!
Review 37:Charming small hotel in traditional stone villa. Spotlessly clean. Staff extremely helpful. Peaceful and serene. Short walk to beach and harbour-side restaurants.
