Review 1：We have spent two nights in Vista Loca in mid of September. We wanted a nice hostel outside Mykonos city but still close enough to visit it. Indeed it was very good choice. Vista Loca is charming and very clean hotel with spectacular view towards Aegean Sea and Mykons New Port. Our room was very specious and nicely furnished in typical mykonian style. We had separate bedroom, nice and big bathroom and a living room with kitchen were a separate bad for our soon was placed. We had our private terrace with great view (we enjoyed a lot our breakfasts there!...and evening wine :) ). The nearest minimarket is like 100-200 m distance and it has everything what you may need. There is very nice tavern nearby (500m) so if you do not want to go to the city centre to eat it is very nice spot as well. To reach Mykonoc city centre is very easy, just next to the mini market there is a bus stop and in plus in the New Port (400m from the hotel or less..) there is a stop of the Sea Bus, really charming way to reach the city centre ( it was our choice always, nice trip by boat 3 minutes!). The owner of Vista Loca is an extremely charming, friendly and helpful person. She picked up us form the port and drive us to the airport two days later. Our flight had 12 hours delay and yet this was not a problem for her to drive us, leave to us our room longer and keep our luggage when we went to have meal and last walk in the centre( we were really stress of what we are going to do in this 12 hours with luggage and small kid in 35C Mykons!) . Very helpful and friendly person, she saved our holidays! If we ever come back to Mykons, Vista Loca will be our choice again!
Review 2：Transfers from the ferry and to the airport were fantastic. Stunning view, spacious and comfortable apartment with relaxing terrace and private sunbathing area. Great self catering apartment with convenient shop at the bottom of the hill for all we needed.
Review 3：Good location with beautiful views over the new port and easy transport links (bus or seabus) into the centre of town. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful.
Review 4：The apartment manager was very rude and unapproachable. Every time I would try to ask her a question she would be abrupt and not answer the question I had asked. In addition, the bathroom was absolutely horrible. There were holes in wall and the shower was about 25 x 25 inches. It was extremely small and uncomfortable.

Review 7：The view is excellent as well as the apartment, it is very clean and spacious. For us the location was very good, close to new port, where all ferries arrive, a sea bus to mykonos town (old port) departs from this port which makes it well connected to the town. We would recommend this hotel/apartment to everyone.

The lady running the place picked and dropped us at the port and helped us out a lot. Rooms were super clean, and the balcony was awesome.. Went to the beach which is a 600m walk away. Selvy is very genrouse,helpfull and kind, the place is very nice and clean.we came only for one day on the wy to different island so the location was good for us- a min from new port and with a bike very close to the center. we didn't like the island but the hotel was nice place to stay in our way.

Review 12：The location is perfect, just a couple kilometers from the town of Mykonos. The view to the port and the sunset is breathtaking. The apartment was daily cleaned, provided with fresh towels. King size bed with firm relaxing matress. Last but not least: Sevi. A great hostess, she provided us whatever we needed and made us feel like home. I would definitely recommend it and surely would stay there again.
Review 13：the bed could be more comfortable (the mattress was a little bit too soft/poorly filled in and I could feel the inner springs). Warning: you need a scooter/a car (or a taxi) to reach the city centre. Please note that the road that leads to the main entrance is really steep (and the pavement is a little bit rough and silppery)... so, be careful (especially if you drive a scooter)!
Review 14：Nice location (on a hill in front of the new port, panoramic view: the new port is not so "exciting", but you can enjoy a wonderful sunset from the balcony). The apartments are quite new. Very spacious and rather well equipped. Funiture is quite simple but almost new and efficient. Staff and manager very nice and helpful.Tansfer service (free of charge) is a plus.
Review 15：It was not really walking distance to mykonos town with the heat and the busy roads but the bus was very easy and only €1.60.

Review 17：There is a guy which seems a little bit double faced. Because he reacts well to you but turn to other side and start to shout. It is a little bit annoying. And most of the time he is in a rush and this annoys because you are at a holiday and just want to relax not want to see a rush or anger. Unlikely to Sevi, he seems to be insencere. If he changes attitudes hotel would be seems perfect.
Review 18：Most of the things are perfect: First : Sevi my friend you are perfect and anywhere you work is my next prefer. by the way Sevi is the manager of the hotel and she take care of everything,give recommendations for you at the island and she is one of the warmest person in my life that have met before,you will like greek people more because of her :) - It would be perfect if you rent an atv both for hotel hill and travel all across the island. if total of people weight that will ride atv is less than 130 kg(2 person totally) 50 cc atv would be enough otherwise rent a larger atv like 100-150 cc for the hotels hill.If you do not have ride hotel hill would absolutely tire you too much. (do not recommend hiring a car, because we always uses cars at our daily life, atv is a perfect alternative to feel island soul, everybody uses scooters and atvs at the island) - Free airport transportation of hotel is good so you can ask sevi for pick up and pick out to airport.

Review 24：We had two problems one was the shower too little and a little bit uncomfortable and there was no hanger in the shower. And then the bed, the mattress was not so comfortable i think they could improve this. Breakfast was not included as there are appartments, but its ok you have a supermarket where you can buy things and enjoy a nice panoramic breakfast from your room.

Everything was perfect including the amazing view from an uphill peaceful location and staff (Sevi, the reservation manager, was absolutely helpful and willing to give us the best advice concerning food, places to visit and transfer information from new port to the old one and Mykonos' beaches. Her hospitality and social skills ought to be mentioned! ). Cleanliness is another point worth noting of Vista Loca as well as its friendly clean staff who was ready to provide us with any help we needed. Free transfer from new port to the apartments and from the apartments to the new port is offered. Planning to visit it again in the future for sure!
Review 27：Only down was that there was no breakfast facility so you need to walk down to the village for coffee. Not a problem but might be inconvenient for some people.

Review 29：The hotel is up a reeeealy steep hill! They do offer a pick up service from the port but if you plan on leaving yourself you are going to have to tackle this huge hill! Although the view does almost make it worth it! It's also quite a walk into the town.

When I asked help to get Hellenic Seaway ticket, a young staff guided me to the ticket office in Mykonos town (a long walk from old port) under the circumstance that he had another task upcoming. Review 36：The hotel has a lovely view, and the staff will pick you up from the ferry, etc, and drive you to it, so very helpful. It is a steep climb up from the harbour to the hotel, and there is no breakfast, so you will need to make your own. Rooms are nice, with little balconies to get some sea breezes and take in the view.
Review 37：Our bed was fairly hard and a little uncomfortable but that does seem to be the Greek way. The location was fine for a night but I'd recommend a car if staying longer.
Review 38：We had an amazing stay at Vista Loca, we were greeted at the airport by the owner who was really accommodating and gave us lots of information about Mykonos. Our apartment was fantastic with such a beautiful view of the new port and the ocean. She also looked after our young son Charlie for a while with her son as we watched the sun go down which was such a nice thing to do. If we come back to Mykonos we'll be sure to return!
Review 39：We stayed for 4 nights in 3 different appartments. The Quadraple appartment with 2 bathrooms had an amazing view! It was the best one. The others were also very nice. Friendly staff, good location, 10 minutes to the city by car.
Review 40：The moment I arrived the airport I was greated with the smiling face of Sevi, I'm definitely not exaggerating when mentioning the perfect hospitality. She took care of everything I needed from the moment I arrived until I leave. Rooms are perfectly clean, wifi coverage is quite fine, I didn't have any problems with it, our room also had a perfect view and a fully equipped kitchen. I've been travelling to Mykonos 3 years in a row, so I had the chance to see Mykonos hotels in general, if I'll visit again, I'll definitely make a booking at Vista Loca.

Review 50：The Vista LocaWhile in Mykonos this past September, we booked to stay a couple of nights at the Vista Loca in Mykonos and were very glad we did.I was originally planning for us to stay in Mykonos Town but because we left our booking until late, there was nothing decent left for the weekend we wanted to stay. Instead, I found the Vista Loca online through Booking.com. I had made my booking from Athens before sailing across from Rafina and so I didn’t get the email from the Vista Loca offering a free pick up from the ferry terminal.I could guess approximately where it was from the booking site’s photos and decided to make the steep climb up the hill to the property on foot with my bags, which I managed to do. I would strongly recommend the free pick up though, especially from New Port where you are likely to be stuck in a long line-up for a taxi and especially for the climb up the hill if it’s a hot day or you don’t have sturdy footwear.It was an amazing few from the 2 bedroom villa we got, especially from the large balcony out front. You can see Mykonos Town a few kilometers away down the beach, the cruise ships tied up and the ferries that regularly come and go, as well as the beautiful green and blue of the Aegean down below. We were able to walk over the hill and spend an enjoyable day at Agios Stephanos beach and then on another occasion take the Sea Bus right out from to Mykonos Town for the day. We found Mykonos Town to be pretty expensive, especially to eat and so were glad to find two great affordable places to eat within walking distance of the Vista Loca.The villas were well furnished, the bathrooms adequate but the wifi worked best outside the suit in the common areas. We had two bedrooms, one with a large rock built into the wall…which was a nice touch. We had two balconies, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen (not that we used it) and a huge balcony with table and chairs out on the balcony with our amazing view.

Review 53：It's about a 20-25 minute walk into town, so if you're looking for somewhere close to town where you don't have to rely on the few taxis there are on the island and you don't mind walking, it's fine. The last few minutes is a bit of a killer though. Very steep road. But that's Mykonos, and that's what gives you the view at the end!
Review 54：Stayed here for a week in August 2014. Last minute booking, and very little availability in Mykonos. Probably wouldn't have chosen to stay here to be perfectly honest, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Vista Loca is a great little set up. Spotlessly clean, nice staff. Great view of the new port from the large terrace in front of our room.
