Review 1：We requested a quiet room due to having young children and it being new year, however our suite was directly above a nightclub next to the hotel which played very loud music until 9am!!!!! It would have been better had we been put in a suite on the opposite side of the hotel especially as we specifically requested a quiet room.

Review 3：Couldnt find the baby changing room. Toilets no good for access with a pushchair. The room was extremely small for the price we paid and there was no lights on the balcony.

The rooms are fabulous we had amazing view and so impressed with the electric curtains and computerised lighting controls on the phone!! Review 11：From the minute we arrived, to the minute we left the entire stay was a joy, the room was immaculate and welcoming, the staff friendly and the facilities and restaurants really good.

Review 12：Some people say they were offered a drink on arrival, we didn`t, but there was a function on and they seemed rather busy. Also, specifically asked for two twin rooms. We were given one with a double bed, yet this was for me and my 15 yera old son.So reception had to sort out a sofa bed. Plus I asked for rooms together, but they were separate floors completely. Also too noisy by the nightclub for my elderly mother.Enjoyed it but won`t return.

A change of room after a whole day and night after the issue, some money of a burger at 23:00!!! Not very impressed with the place overall, tiny gym small cold pool, average restaurant having paid the money I did I just expected a little more and at the very least a room that did what it said it would on the tin!!!

Review 19：Generator out the side was very noisy then staff decided to put the empty bottles out at 2am and 4am and when advised staff they didn't really care. All money orientated. Used to stay twice a year but think I will be going back to Caleta hotel now.

Review 21：We thought the electronic room controls for lights, curtains, phone etc. we're a good idea, but they had drawbacks. The curtains open automatically if the main door is open, which is a bit disconcerting if you are taking a nap on top of the bed with not much better on. Even worse when an office with staff facing directly onto the room can see in. the bed lights did not work, and the television controller needed new batteries as the TVS would not switch on. The all glass toilet/shower with no main door was also not quite to our liking. We felt the breakfast was overpriced.

Review 22：The ship has a wow factor when you arrive, the staff on reception very attentive and helpful, particularly Dave the porter. The room was bigger than expected and beautifully equipped. Ideally placed in Ocean Village, in the hub of the nightlife.

Review 34：I ordered a taxi, to attend a family christening the following day at 9.15, on the night before at the reception desk. This was not done, and so no taxi was available, one was ordered and what turned up looked more like a delivery van and was dirty to boot!

The pool is just a mere dipping pool which one assumes they expect young nubile girls in bikini's to frequent. It is right in front of the bar full of drunken men...no way would I use it. It was too small anyway and was a plunge pool. Staff did not really care or give personalised service. They did their jobs and that was it.

Review 67：I booked the stay at Sunborn with trepidation as I had read so much mixed reviews about the hotel with some good and some very bad. I decided to go for it and just see how things go. The one review that was consistent across the board was that staff at Sunborn are very stiff, unhelpful and rude. Having spent the most fantastic 4 days at this hotel I can authoritatively say this ISN'T true in any way, shape or form. Staffs at the Sunborn are the most amazing, helpful and fantastic ever. I have travelled the world and stayed in all sorts of luxurious hotels and I have to say these people are the most impressive so far. We arrived and asked if we could be upgraded (typical bargain hunter that I am) Lukas at the front desk immediately upgraded us from a normal suite to a fantastic corner suite (Room 609). On arrival at our room, the room was missing quite a few things as the room had occupants prior to us arriving and little time to restock and get the room ready for us.... The housekeeping staff made sure we had everything we wanted even making up to 6 trips to the room in the space of an hour. The room was cleaned twice a day and our sofa bed made for us every evening. The bathroom was quite grand and the view from the balcony of our suite was excellent. The staff were consistently friendly, patient and helpful giving us tips on local cuisine and sightseeing etc. Nathan and Lukas made the stay such a dream and we will definitely be visiting again.

Review 132：Our sea view room, overlooked the airport runway with the obvious noise that goes with it. The hotel is still under construction in a lot of areas and we had to move rooms due to a burning electrical problem. Our problems were dealt with swiftly although they openly admitted this had been an ongoing problem. Not the sort of experience you expect from a 5 star hotel.

We sat and relaxed in the sapphire bar looking out over the Ocean Village. The chap that looked after us in there really did his job.
