Review 7：No guest sitting room, which was probably reflected in the tariff which was very reasonable. This didn't bother us at all though, as our room was spacious and well-furnished.
Review 8：Really friendly helpful hostess, with lots of suggestions for sightseeing. She even suggested we could leave our car parked there while we went walking about the town, to save on parking fees elsewhere. Extremely comfortable spacious room which was quiet and scrupulously clean.

Review 11：We stayed at Lauren House for a couple of nights over a weekend in August 2015. Jackie the proprietor is very friendly and couldn't have made us more welcome. The room had a lovely large bed and was very clean and fresh. Although not en-suite we had exclusive use of a good size bathroom just across the corridor. There was plenty of choice for a delicious cooked breakfast, with a range of cereals, fruit and juice as well. Lauren House is within easy walking distance of the town centre in Dumfries and any number of pubs/restaurants. Jackie recommended one close by for our first evening which did not disappoint. The availability of off-street parking is a definite plus point. Lauren House is very good value for money and comes highly recommended. We would happily stay with Jackie again if in the area.

Review 13：Very friendly hostess who gave us a lot of good advice on where to eat, what to see, etc. It was a pleasure talking to her. The place is beautifully maintained and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious for our family of four.

Review 29：The room was quiet and I had sole use of a separate bathroom. I was able to eat my take-away in the breakfast room late at night. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The B&B was a few minutes' walk from the Residential Home where my father lives, so it was an ideal location.
