Review 1:Location was great for the ferry while being just far enough away from the main road to be pretty quiet. Ali and Shona were fine hosts, great breakfast too
Review 2:None whatsoever.
Review 3:My whole two nights there, wish I'd booked to stay longer. The friendly staff, the breakfast, the room itself and 10/10 for the location of the shared bathroom at the top of the stairs :-) and the touring advice from the owner.
Review 4:Great location - very close to Stornoway centre, with a view overlooking the harbour. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and happy to answer any questions we had about the area, and share their local knowledge of the islands. Good selection at breakfast.
Review 5:We shared a bathroom with another room, which I don't mind, but I don't feel the price of the room reflected this.
Review 6:Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and the room was comfy. Plenty of parking too.
Review 7:The most friendly people we've met. Helped with all the sightseeing. Realy cozy. We liked breakfast a lot. And it's only meters away from the ferry and bus station.

Review 12:Pictures in the Internet always make a place look much better and bigger than it is. The breakfast room Looks so good, but in reality it´s small and normal. We were unlucky, roadworks right in front of the B&B
Review 13:Porridge was great
Review 14:One of the smallest en suite I have ever seen (the sink was actually in the bedroom)
Review 15:Good location near centre of Stornoway, friendly and helpful owner, tasty cooked breakfast
Review 16:Caution only: a fairly steep stairway from the entry level to the guest rooms.
Review 17:The location was superb: central, view, parking and rainbows after each shower. Good heat and plumbing, something we americans are always tolerant about. Ali was a wonderful host with advice on sites to see, and places to eat, with tales to tell, and even where to find a petrol station open on Sunday!
Review 18:We were in Stornoway to run the Callanish marathon. We were able to get an early breakfast for the day of the run (6am) and then Ali thought we might need a lie in the next day! so offered us a later than usual breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt completely looked after the whole of our stay. The breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are lovely, the beds are extremely comfortable and the wifi is fast and free. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the town look no further!

Review 53:Outlook, furnishings, bathroom, bed and very good breakfast. Owners, lovely people.
Review 54:We had requested a downstairs room, due to bad backs, but they could not accommodate and were nice about it. Would have preferred not to carry our luggage all the way to the top. However, this was due to unforeseen family circumstances. A suggestion would be for them to place a rack inside shower to hold shampoos, etc.
Review 55:The owners were very cordial and helpful, the breakfast just wonderful - especially the porridge, and they offered a full Scottish breakfast minus the haggis. Teas and coffee were terrific. offered advice on Sunday restaurants as everything is closed. We were very close to the ferry which is great.
