Review 1：loss of wifi which could of been because of storm frank went down twice.

Review 2：perfectly placed apartment right next to the lake with great views, lots of waterfowl and wild birds some that we don't see at home to watch from your French doors. no traffic noise.

Review 4：The quality of the apartment finishes was great- very lovely and comfortable. The pool was a big hit. Being a single parent the concept of a kids club was a great asset. Staff at restaurant gave my son smaller cutlery which was a lovely touch.

Swimming disturbed on both days by Childrens swimming lessons was led to believe was mainly a couples retreat in fact it is mainly for family's. Left to own device's while there, staff not that helpful (when asked for plastic cups in the gym to have a drink from the water dispenser) was told didn't have any so no drink

Review 9：In no way 5 star accommodation. Uncomfortable bed, hard sofabed in lounge, tv wires everywhere, sky tv unwatchable, broken remote control, one toilet roll for two days. Some facilities looked tired.

Review 10：We weren't very keen on the fact that the bathroom was opposite the kitchen and cooking area,or that you had to walk through the bedroom first from outside.

Review 14：The oven didn't work. The bathroom floor was dirty in the corners and the patio doors were filthy. A slight sewerage smell in the kitchen.

Review 16：We rang for directions and got a very vague "take the Newquay exit off the A30 and you will see the brown signs" This wasn't helpful or correct. All we wanted was A39 towards Wadebridge and we would have saved nearly an hour of looking!

Review 17：Loved the peace and quiet of the resort. The accomodation was lovely, very modern, clean, and had everything we needed. It is in a very good touring area with some lovely days out on it's doorstep. No information was given as to the restaurant on check in so we ate in Padstow (Highly recomended).

Review 18：Staff were not helpful when we travelled 6 hours to get there and told we couldn't checkin till 3 and go and wait in the lounge for a couple of hours. Dustbins never got emptied.

Review 20：I was given a travel cot to sleep in which was low down against a cold wooden floor. The only heater was a towel rail in the bathroom, so I got really cold at night and my mum and dad worried about me the whole time. I woke up more often at night because my little hands got really cold so I cried. This made me and my mum and dad more tired in the day. The floor was too hard to lay on in the day too. I often play on the floor as I am a baby. The accommodation was open planned and when I went to bed, mum and dad couldn't do much as it was too noisy for me. They had to whisper and have the tv down very low. The first two nights after I went to bed, they cooked dinner, but the smoke alarms kept going off. This woke me up and upset me. Dad said smoke alarms shouldn't be near kitchens. The last night they had to get a takeaway which wasn't ideal for them. There were no pavements around the site so mum and dad had to walk on roads with my pram, which was shared with tractors from the onsite farm. This was hazardous and muddy. Mum and dad said they'd have enjoyed it on their own and were disappointed as they specifically chose it because it was advertised as baby friendly.

Review 22：Having to pay £2.50 per day for wifi is a bit steep and it would of been nice to have a menu for the restaurant and spa in the room but apart from those minor things it was great.

Review 24：No changing of towels and the glass on the decking wasn't clean you couldn't look out sat down. I know it's not much but the glass would make a massive difference in first impressions.

The apartment was 5 star and the terrace we had was so beautiful feeding ducks every morning. This is the best place we have ever stayed in definitely made our honeymoon special

Review 30：The resort was advertised more like a Spa retreat for a more adult audience, however I would not consider this a Spa retreat. They also advertised a bar, which is also incorrect as the only bar available is in the restaurant but only used for waitresses to collect drinks/food for diners. Also, the restaurant lacked ambience, which is a shame given the great food & helpful staff.

Review 31：Apartment was lovely. Clean & comfortable. Even nice little touches for self catering like complimentary washing up liquid & washing tablet for washing machine. The restaurant was excellent! I was taken by surprise.

Review 32：There was only a fridge, no freezer and the fridge wasn't very cold so a lot of our food went off. The sofabed in the front room was extremely uncomfortable to sit on and was covered in dog hair, as was the living room floor and cushions. Staff came in to clean the floor but just removed the cushions rather than cleaning or replacing them. The facilities on the whole we're good but the area referred to as a 'beach' was just a bit of sand on the edge of the lake and wasn't very clean.

Review 33：The resort was in a really handy location which meant we could drive almost anywhere withing 20 or 30 minutes. The bed was amazingly comfortable and it was lovely to be able to wake up in the morning over looking the lake and have breakfast with the ducks! The swimming pool was lovely!

There was a lot of mould on the shower in the changing room.

Review 42：Decking area not clean. Outside table and chairs green mould. Bird droppings on upstairs decking looked like they had been there for weeks. Whole outside area needs a good clean up a lick of varnish wouldn't go amiss. Inside again probably needs a lick of paint downstairs shower drain broken and dirty. The sova and chairs downstairs in red of a good clean.

Review 52：There was a horrid amount of spiders I live next to a field and never seen this many spiders. We brought pur own cot but wouldn't provide sheets for it even thought I did check before hand so that was annoying. So my son had to sleep on towels in his cot, as it is self catering they don't clean the apartment or change sheets. My husband left his wallet they where ment to send via next day delivery but they sent it by standard so we had to pay extra to get it sent on again and hard to get any contact about it. The deck could use a good clean with all the spiders nests. The wifi...sucks..so slow

Review 53：Well the apartments are in a amazing location and so close to the sports area. We had a one bedroom apartment but it was more like a studio,has everything for basics you will need including coffee and tea and milk. Friendly staff loved the food and swimming pool was great and the gym. The view was amazing amd I loved all the ducks and swans etc.

This horrified me, on asking him to remove the hook he just swore at me, obviously this is out of your control just found it disturbing.

Review 60：Our lodge had no view , just 2 large trees , the lodge was dusty and quite dirty when we arrived, one day the lodge next to us was painted by workmen so we couldn't sit outside the whole day due to the fumes. The facilities were very disappointing , the swimming pool was tiny , the golf course was awful and there were no activities for our 4 year old- they charge you for everything - sorry but this is not a 5 star resort as advertised , I would suggest 3 star is more accurate.

Review 62：Very difficult to find with very little signage. We stayed for three nights and without SatNav would not have found the accommodation on any of those days whether daylight or night time. No laundry facilities very disappointing and really for 'five star' accommodation a dishwasher is a necessity and some help with baggage. Location of toilet door opening into galley kitchen unpleasant and entrance door directly into a bedroom with one small window woeful. Carparking some distance from apartment and then the struggle with baggage up a spiral staircase in cold and rain very unpleasant, and repeated when leaving.

Review 63：The apartment was modern and clean with a good kitchen and bathroom. Pleasant view over a pond. Excellent meal in the restaurant and overall reasonably priced. Would think carefully about returning.

Review 72：Apartment was clean, confortable and well furnished. Lovely location near a small lake with visiting geese. Very quiet for most of the time. Swimming pool and sauna small but adequate but may feel crowded in school summer holidays. Staff very helpful and considerate in reception and in the restaurant. Did not try surfing simulator but it looked like fun and was well used.

Review 79：I liked everything about the place the lodges are very modern and up to date.There are new lodges being built which means the site will be even better.I looked at the plans for future development this is perfect for a couple with young kids to invest in a great holiday haven with lots of towns and villages to explore , great for walking ,golf ,sailing or other water sports. To top all this the weather was great,sunshine everyday , will go back.

The folders with all the helpful information in the apartments look a little bit tatty needs replacing As I have been here before 301 and 308 have different things in them, 301 didn't have a tv in the bedroom but 308 did 301 had a blu Ray player but 308 didn't it had a DVD player also the furniture is different so 308 was the better apartment really this should not be the case they should all be the same standards I still love the place and didn't want to go home

Review 86：When we got into our apartment, there were used nappies in the bedroom bin, didn't smell particularly nice! And when we dropped a coin under the bed and went down to look for it out came a tonne of dust and a few used condom wrappers... Disgusting!

Review 94：The misleading name. It isn't really a spa, is it?! I just think you should include pool, gym etc in particulars but not call it a spa nor emphasise it. We were looking forward to that quiet pool as pictured but didn't have room enough to swim, in reality! The gym is minute and a water dispenser would have been beneficial. We didn't find the massages etc! We missed a few hours there waiting for the promised call to let us know the apartment was ready. Eventally we rang in at about 8.30pm. We were told they'd ring but when we went back were told wrong information was given yet they didn't appear bothered that we'd been waiting around for hours. The bathroom in the apartment may as well not have had a door. It didn't even cover the doorway so the personal toilet time became a,family show. Awkward!

Review 95：The apartment was great and the location over the lake, excellent. We liked the area of Cornwall. The flowrider was great fun (smaller groups withs be far better).

Review 96：We arrived on the Thursday and decided to opt for the Taster Menu in the Green Room. We felt this was a little over priced for the size of portions that was served, apart from the last course of 3 Chocolate portions that was simply too Rich.

The apartment was very clean except for the rug in the living area which was filthy! This was a little disappointing.

Review 101：Perfect location, able to visit Newquay and Padstow with a very short journey in the car but also easy access down to St Austell as well whilst all at the same time being set in the peaceful countryside. Lovely views over the lakes. Really well fitted out with appliances etc, perfect for self-catering, could have stayed longer and will definitely be looking at coming back again next year! Overall really really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to other people.

Review 104：We loved the quality of the fixtures and fittings in the suite, its location next to the lake and the fact that we could come and go as we pleased. We did not use the facilities on site such as gym and pool but could have if we had time. The site is completely safe and family friendly and will be somewhere we will stay again, the suite was £100 per night but there are offers coming through all the time, whoever designed the resort understands the needs of families.
