Solas Guest House sells fast on our site. Solas Guest House is located 1,000 feet from Stornoway Airport, 3 miles from Stornoway town and a 10-minute drive from the harbour. It offers stunning sea and rural views, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Review 1：Extremely comfortable house with huge room, and great views of the airport. Felt very much at home, even though I was on my own. Lovely couple whose dinner recommendation and evening glass of wine were very much appreciated. Have already booked to go back.
Review 2：Couldn't have picked a better place to stay after an arduous journey. Fantastic hospitality, spotlessly clean, an extremely comfortable bed and an excellent Scotish breakfast to wake up to. Looking forward to another stay, at the end of the week, on our way home.

The house is stunning, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was top notch. The room was large, fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. I travel a lot around UK and IRL in my job and Solas really impressed me. If back in stornoway I will certainly stay there again. Thanks!

Review 12：Solas Guest House is the BEST BNB we have ever stayed in. It is first class. The hosts Karen and Iain are delightful. Iains's full Scotttish breakfasts are BRILLIANT We loved our 4 nights with them in Stornoway. We would thoroughly recommend Solas Guest House.

Review 16：This is the nicest B & B we have ever stayed in. The rooms are massive and beautifully decorated and furnished, the en-suites stylish with generous sized showers, and they are very clean. The breakfasts are excellent, particularly the black pudding. And the hosts, Ian and Karen, are lovely and very helpful. It's next to the airport but don't let that put you off. There are only flights between 7:30am and 7:30pm and we never really heard them anyway.

Review 37：Everything about our stay was marvellous. Karen and Iain are exceptional hosts. How many B&Bs does one stay in where the host offers you a glass of wine or a beer every evening on ones return? Breakfasts are outstanding, scrambled eggs and black pudding to die for. The bedroom and en-suite we had, complete with balcony and view of the sea, is like a 5* hotel room, and perhaps, dare I say, nicer because you remember it is a B&B and not an hotel. We had a lovely stay and intend to return, if they'll have us!

I had a great night's sleep and then a superb breakfast (Iain is a former butcher). Nothing was too much trouble to make my stay a very pleasurable one. This was the only guest house I stayed in during a 14 day road tour and it was superb - I thoroughly recommend it.

Review 48：The friendliness of Iain and Kate, the warmth with which we were hosted, the brilliant views from the deck, the spacious room and bath and a very very large and tasty breakfast.…..we had travelled a long way to get to the Hebrides and were apprehensive about our choice all the way there, till we checked in to Solas…..we had spent the previous night at another place in Stornoway, but Solas stole the show.

Review 50：The accommodation is superb - a lovely home, stylish fitted, with comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. The balcony overlooking the sea was great. We enjoyed watching the activity at the near by airport. (There was no noise issue at all) . Karen and Iain were incredibly friendly and cooked a really great breakfast. Their kindness to us was exceptional on a couple of counts.

Review 52：This is the only place to stay if you ar visiting the Isle of Lewis. Great location, food, facilities, and staff. It is located next to the airport; however, that was never an issue and we never heard one plane the entire time we were there. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a high quality, great place to stay.
