Review 1：Nothing - everything was absolutely brilliant.

Review 2：I don't really know where to begin to describe Mythos apartments and our time there. The apartment itself was lovely - perfect location within a few yards of the beach, comfortable, clean, had everything we needed, and a restaurant right in front with tables at the water's edge. But the main thing about Mythos is the magic people there, and their incredible kindness. I was travelling with my 91 year old mother and we arrived 3 hours' late at 3am in the morning due to a flight delay. Andreas had kindly left a note and the key to our room having waited til well over midnight when we were expected. My mother had 2 falls over the next two days, the second of which resulted in a broken hip and hospitalisation and an operation. Andreas and his mother Katerina were with us all the way, spending hours in the hospital and then visiting on a regular basis. I don't know where we would have been without them - truly it was like having angels looking after us. Not only them and Andreas' father, but also all the staff at the apartments and in the restaurant were so supportive and caring. I feel like I've left behind a big family, and will definitely be back - hopefully with my mother.

Review 3：There is no electric kettle. You have some kind of electric filter coffee maker. You can do there coffee or tea but I'm not get used to it. And there are only few pots and plates - but for us it wasn't problem at all.

Review 4：Great accomodation in great and quiet place. Large room. Very clean (everyday cleaning). Sea view. Great swimming pool (not just to sit in water but to swim). Restaurants around. Markets and also hipermarket close to the location. Very friendly owner and staff. Maybe 40 meters to seaside. Sunbeds and umbrellas included in price.

Review 5：The missing diving board. The staff in the restaurant was not looking after customers but rather female by passers.

Review 7：It was perfect for our purposes. A spacious nice clean apartment with sea view, very friendly and helpful staff, pretty good wifi, a small kitchen well enough equipped to cook some basic meals, nice pool, very close to the beach. The beach itself was good, could be better but we had a car and thus for us Maleme was only a starting point for exploration of west Crete with many great beaches within 1.5 hours of driving (a couple within just 30 mins), Chania also easily reachable - therefore the good rating for location too.

Review 11：the apartments were perfect. from the moment we arrived to the time we left. friendliest staff with the gorgeous Christina who cleans the apartment everyday. the pool is big and the perfect temptemperature . the place is spotlessly clean. it's right on the beach with the restaurant actually on the beach.Andreas who runs the place couldn't be more helpful and genuinely nice guy.kids loved the pool with both muddy pool and a three metre deep end perfect for our older lads. quiet place and plenty of poolside Sun lounges with umbrellas.

Review 12：This was a really nice place our family (2 adults, 2 kids age 9 & 11). The pool is great and the sea is a 1-minute walk away. The owner is helpful and friendly. The room we had was very spacious- the kids had their own single beds and we had our own space. We ate on the balcony overlooking the sea. It was relaxing and there were many choices of restaurants and small supermarkets if we wanted to eat in.

Review 13：Bathroom doesn't match up to rest of apartment. Needs refurbishment. No mirror in bedroom and no hairdryer. Cooker hood broken.

Review 15：The room was large, clean and quiet. The swimming pool was very big, the kids enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting the beaches in the west side of the island. Very near to the hotel there were supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, shops, everything you need. The owners and the staff were very friendly. Nothing bad to say. We certainly suggest it to families with small kids like us. It's a value for money choice. Much better from near than the photos in the hotel's internet site. Perfect wi-fi signal.

Review 16：Very good location and facilities: shops and INKA supermarket nearby, 2 restaurants 20 meters from rooms, free parking. Room: we got more comfortable and bigger room than was ordered, we got the room with sea view as expected. Andreas was very helpful: gave us important clues on where to go in Chania region, helped set WiFi settings on our notebook.

Review 17：The location is perfect. A quiet and peaceful place, the hotel has it's beach and umbrellas wo you don't have to always burn in the sun. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are being cleaned every single day and the wifi signal in the room is perfect. Hotel environment is neat and nice. Definately worth the price and visit!

Review 18：-Great Food in their taverna at very reasonable prices -The room was huge and well equiped for its category -The pool was nice for an afternoon coctail from their bar -The stuff was great. Very helpful and friendly. We had a great time.The rooms were well equiped with a new kitchenette with all the necessary equipment for a room of this category. Also the rooom was big and had a nice balcony. Apart from that their taverna had just awesome food. The location is also a good point for visiting places in western Crete.

Review 19：A great place!! We had a wonderful holiday. This very quiet and clean hotel is located just on the seashore. Staff is very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Just 5 minutes from hotel is a big shop, ATM and bus stop. You can easily reach Chania or Platanias.

Review 29：From the first ' Miss Yvonnie you are welcome' we felt this wasthe star prize destination. The staff are all so lovely. Andreas theproprietors son is ever helpful and Victoria the cleaner always smilingand friendly and brilliant at her job also. All the bar and restaurantstaff just cannot do enough for you.the food is delicious and alwayslittle extras such as shots and fruit platters after a meal. We arrivedback from a night out in the bigger town to find a massive bowl ofgrapes left on the table in the apartment which was the best we haveever stayed in abroad, spacious and spotlessly clean with a balconyoverlooking the sea and pool. The pool is so clean and well maintainedand the sea just across a very quiet road. The free sunbeds andumbrellas on the beach another little touch which is so appreciated asmost places charge ridiculous rates for this. Would we go back to MythosBeach a definite yes so well done to the whole team.

Short distatnce to the beach with free sun beds and local shops and restaurants.Good size of pool,children enjoy very much.I would recommend very much.

Review 34：We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect, just across from the beach, close to tavernas and a short walk to the supermarket & ATM. The beds are comfy, the shower was warm & the kitchenette had everything we needed. The pool is large and was never overcrowded during our stay in July. The kids loved the diving board & there were plenty of sun loungers to go around. We felt relaxed within 10 minutes of arrival. Highly recommended!

Review 40：Our holiday in Mythos Beach Hotel (June 2014) was very pleasant. The staff was welcoming, friendly and smiling all the time. They did everything to make us feel home and checked many times if everything is fine with us. The first day we arrived the bartender welcomed us by offering a little drinks, it was very nice to sit a while after a long trip. One day it was a bit cloudy outside, so we got a plate full of sweet fruits and cherries bought to our room without asking and for free! Lovely caring for customers! The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. We had even two balconies with beuatiful views to south and north, to the hills and the sea! :) Only things that could have been even better... we missed little a big mirror outside the bathroom and there could have been also a microwave oven in the kitchen (not really necessary 'cause there was a stove). The food in the modern and beautiful Mythos restaurant was really tasteful. So was the beers and cocktails. Pizza Carbonara was our favorite from the wide selection of nice oven food. It was special. There was also a big screen in the restaurant. Our holiday was very successful and we can highly recommend the hotel if you like reasonable prices, beautiful views and peaceful place to stay.

Review 59：This apartment, location, and especially the staff were amazing! This has to rank amongst the best vacations our small family has ever had. We have children who are 10 and 3, and they were so happy and satisfied by the place and the people. We are definitely going back. The owner's young son, Andreas, as well as the young lady who works there during the days, Georgia, are incredibly charming and speak excellent English. What they do not mention in their advertising is that the two establishments directly in front of the apartments are exceptional restaurants that provide exceptional full-service meals right on the beach. The staff there, especially Kristos and Stelios. They were so nice to us and our children making us feel like family. We really enjoyed the location, as it was a bit further away from the main touristy beach cities, but it was easy to travel the short 5-6 km to the sandier beaches. The pool belonged completely to us, and when the children weren't swimming in the ocean, they were in the pool. This is a MUST SEE hotel! 11 out of 10 stars!

The apartment was well-presented, comfortable and immaculately clean. Maleme is a fairly quiet resort but - overall - Mythos Beach's location and proximity to the beach make it ideal for a quiet, relaxing break.

A quiet place in the night, nodisturbing traffic outside. Our children appreciated the clean nice poolmuch, so did we. The cleaning led by Georgía was perfect, thecoordinator Andreas was kind and friendly with an unusually serviceminded attitude. The included air condition functioned perfectly. Thelocation of the hotel is super, you have access to great walks along thepebble beach, with tavernas and of course Mythos beach own barsuperviced by unforgettable Stelios close to the sea.

Review 68：The people there are just great! Friendly and hospitable. The pool and whole hotel was very clean, room was just right big, it was close to the see. There was a good access to western Crete sights from the hotel location. If we go to Crete in the future, we will stay here again.
