Review 1：Shower in need of repair. No breakfast available . Looks as if hotel in middle of updating so some parts rather tired looking

Review 6：This was a good, basic hotel which suited our needs. At a mere £26 per night for B&B it was exceptional value.
Review 7：Didn't like our double bed it was so hard so I tried the sofa bed which was lumpy but was ok for my grandson's. So I ended up in the single bed which was ok but it sunk in the middle which wasn't good for my back.I ended up with backache for a couple of days, but to be fare I do suffer with back problems. Other than that everything else was good.
Review 8：The room layout was good, spacious and very clean with ensuite. Service was great and the breakfast was lovely. Staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel is on the main road into the town centre but traffic was okay didn't really hear it.
Review 9：Internet unfortunately was not stable..once i had for some time then i had to restart my electronic devices..it happened likely because according to saying of Colleen, he changed configuration of main router..hope it is gonna be better connection later on

Review 13：We had a lovely room at the front of the building, very spacious and clean. En-suite was clean and towels were spotlessly clean too. All the staff we met were very friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. Would definitely book there again.
Review 14：The room itself was a bit "tatty" and tired. Curtains didn't close properly, toilet blocked up overnight, after only normal use! worst of all the neighbouring room seemed to be having some sort of party till late then left the TV on all night long which I could hear through the wall. next morning, the restaurant didn't open until 8.10, even though I had asked for an 8am breakfast due to having work commitments. the bill was reduced by £10 after I complained about the above. the breakfast itself was good and served pleasantly.
Review 15：the female staff member on duty the evening I arrived was very welcoming and accommodating when I had no success eating out and offered a bar meal at short notice, with polite and friendly service. the food was of a good standard.
Review 16：Needs modernising or redecorating. Shower room/toilet would benefit from a lock on the door and floor flooded all the way to the toilet when using the shower.

Review 31：The distance from town centre, it is a 25 to 30 minute walk to the town centre, and a taxi driver told us it is about 2 miles from the whitesands to the hotel,much further than we anticipated walking on a relaxing weekend,also room had no where to hang your clothes no drawers only a pole sticking out from the wall with a couple of coat hangers on it,maybe a health and safety risk here, also the shower using the term very loosly, a wet room with a sprinkle of either boiling water or cold water, then you have the joy of brushing the bathroom floor to get rid of the puddle of water you are left with on the floor, eventually you are left with a soaking wet floor to stand in while using the only mirror in the room to shave or in my case put on some make up, breakfast was ok, the bar area was quite nice and a little beer garden outside was also quite nice if the weather was good, staff were pleasant enough, but overall I would not rate this any more than a licensed guest house with poor amenities, our room was not worth £104 for a 2 night stay poor value for money, also I do not expect a table from the dining room to be in the bedroom as a bedside table.
Review 32：Bedrooms are a bit dated but the owner has said he has not been there that long and has been concentrating on the restaurant side. He intends to start modernising the bedrooms this winter.
