Reviews for The Minadab Cottage

Review 1:We were made very welcome by Anne and Andy. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable. There was a very good selection of breakfasts.Staying at the Minidab was a pleasure.

Review 2:This is a very friendly b&b with comfy bed, nice bathroom, and lots of lovely extras like homemade cookies in the bedrooms and a delicious cream tea offered when we arrived. It's about a mile into Teignmouth - we loved walking along the sea wall to get to the town - an excellent way to walk off some of the generous breakfast...

Review 3:None

Review 4:The water was hot, the shower worked, the breakfasts were to die for, the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, the car parking was easy, the cream tea on arrival was just what the doctor ordered, and the room was warm. I can't think of much more that we needed and so we had a very pleasant stay indeed.

Review 5:EVERYTHING!!! BEST we have ever been to and Ann and Andy are terrific hosts. Superb breakfasts and lovely room. Most of all they gave us their TIME!!!

Review 6:That we couldn't stay longer!

Review 7:When I read the reviews before booking, I thought that they were too good to be true. I was wrong! I would challenge anyone to find a more hospitable, comfortable, and unique B&B in the whole of the British Isles.

Review 8:Excellent breakfast, delicious cream tea, home made biscuits, charming cottage, very comfortable beds, Everything you could want in the room was catered for to a very high standard including filter coffee. Very friendly helpful owners - best B and B I have ever stayed in!

Review 9:Everything was perfect right down to the parking. Nothing negative to be said.

Review 10:We liked everything about this B&B. The owners treat their guests like Royalty. They do absolutely everything perfect. The rooms are large and beautiful and clean. The best B&B in a 30 day trip. Breakfast is all fresh and home made right down to the bread and jam. If staying in this area do not miss this B&B.

Review 11:Wonderful welcome from Ann, home made biscuits in the room, small fridge with complimentary fresh milk and soft drinks. Very nice room, happily gave recommendations for dinner (and shortcut into town). Lovely breakfast made to order with organic eggs etc, fruit and selection of home made bread.

Review 12:Nothing.

Review 13:This is the third time here,as before we were treated as if we were family.the rooms are superb and every detail is perfect. Its not just a 10 its a 10+.

Review 14:N/A

Review 15:Location was excellent to get around. Very good breakfast, sets you up for the day Hosts very helpful and considerate. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage

Review 16:Great welcome. Real attention to detail both within the room and at the excellent breakfast. They made a real effort to meet our needs as we had to leave the property early.

Review 17:Would have liked a slightly later checkout, 10 am is a little early.

Review 18:Extremely helpful hosts. Devonshire tea on arrival so welcoming. Beautiful cottage. Would definitely return and also recommend to others. Nicest B&B we have ever stayed at.

Review 19:Nothing to dislike.

Review 20:This was our 4th or 5th visit in the last 3 years and the standard has stayed very high all that time. It's really a 5 star B&B!

Review 21:NOTHING

Review 22:We were welcomed from the beginning being offered a complimentary cream tea, everything home made. The room was wonderful and had the privilege to try out the gold hand wash. There were plenty of drinks available stocked up in the fridge and coffees and tea accessible 24/7. The hospitality was absolutely excellent.

Review 23:The warm welcome, the high standard of the facilities, the fantastic homemade food. Everything about the stay was brilliant. I can't fault anything.

Review 24:Really welcoming. Great having a fridge in our room. Lovely attention to detail- cafeteria in room & choice of fruit teas. Spotlessly clean & a super breakfast.

Review 25:No reflection on the cottage or the hosts, both exemplary, but if u don't like walking up hills then note that the walk back up from Teignmouth of an evening is rather steep. But a taxi is only a fiver which was our option so not too much a problem.

Review 26:Lovely location very central for driving around Devon. A cream tea was presented to us on arrival with lovely welcoming touches in the room as well. The whole cottage was cleanliness itself exemplary. The hosts were very helpful and I feel nothing would have been too much trouble. A little gem and well worth a visit

Review 27:Nothing particular to dislike apart from the busy road that it sits on.

Review 28:Beautiful cottage, well appointed and spotless..Very friendly owners and good cooks too.!

Review 29:Having to leave!

Review 30:It was a beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage, with lovely gardens, and great hosts. It was close to all facilities in Teignmouth and close to the sea. We didn't want to leave.

Review 31:Very warm welcome by Anne. The breakfast table was magnificent with cloth napkins, crystal and fine china. The locally produced food was beautifully cooked to order and tasted delicious. Jam, marmalade and bread all home made. I have spinal problems and always worry about the bed when we go away but I need not have worried the bed was really comfortable and our bedroom was well appointed. We even had home made biscuits in a tin in our room. Could not recommend Minadab enough. We will definitely be back.

Review 32:The hosts were welcoming, extremely helpful about things to see and do in the area and made us feel right at home. The cottage is lovely, the rooms are clean, the area is quiet and it is near enough to the town centre to walk within 20 minutes.

Review 33:Everything about the accommodation was first class. We particularly loved all the extra attention paid to home made cookies in our room a fantastic breakfast with local produce and home made jam and marmalade. Review 35:The Minadab is a lovely place to stay, Anne & Andy are the perfect host's they made us feel really at home from the start nothing was to much trouble, the food was excellent everything was freshly cooked, and with a bus stop right outside made it ideal.

Review 36:There was nothing to dislike or complain about in any way. We are aware that nothing is ever perfect but this was as close as it gets. If one thing was not up to scratch it was outweighed by everything else being above average.

Review 37:Everything. It was as near perfect as ANY hotel, guesthouse or b&b you will ever find. Being reasonably well travelled we have experienced a great many b&b's from poor to pretty good but this has them all beat.
