Review 1：My son broke out in a rash after getting in the pool. This had never happened to him before. We searched on the net and the rashes looked like a chlorine allergy. Luckily we had anti-histamine with us which we administered immediately. So there was definitely something wrong with the chemical content of the water in the pool. Also, we went in October and the place was very dead although the prices we were paying were quite high. It was too cold to enjoy this type of villas in October. Beaches were closed. So it was quite boring.

Review 3：Not suited for disabled people, due to the fact that there are a lot of steps and steep hills, however gulf carts are available. Food and wine at Argo restaurant are expensive. We would have prefered to have a coffee maker in the suite instead of a kettle with coffee bags.

Review 4：Splendid suite, we were very happy with the spontaneous upgrade to a two-bedroom suite. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Perfect place to relax, with a very nice communal pool

Review 5：We booked a suite with a sea view, but once we arrived we found out that we had a garden view. The answers from the front office were: - "we gave you the room with the garden view because you have a dog". But the garden was open without any closure to avoid the dog going everywhere in the hotel. So why it was given for that? Moreover, nobody wrote to me such note in two months time before my arrival. - "you booked through booking.com". The mean was: you made a good deal and then you cannot claim for everything! Since I did not accept that room, after two hours of complaint, the manager came and offered to me a deal, which I accepted: 2 days in a villla and 3 days in the original suite. The villa was nice and a pen was put in the garden suite...but at the end I did not have my sea view for three days, which was the reason I decided for this structure!!! By the way, there was no privacy in the garden of the suite, since all the time people from the staff were passing in front of it driving their car/taxi. Other negative notes: - the Daphni restaurant was too expensive and not so good. For a € 40 dish you expect something special and I can grant you that it was not absolutely the case! - they have a private beach which is 10 minutes distant by car. I saw there the worst water colour of the entire Crete island! The reason was the presence of the algae in the water in that place. - one day at 4.30 pm the room was not cleaned yet, even they declared that the room should have to be cleaned within 4.00 pm (which I think is even too late). - once we ordered the breakfast in the room and, even the breakfast was included in the rate, they charged not only the room service, but the entire value of the breakfast.

Review 7：Most Massage Suites outside areas are very small, only the corner rooms have the large area as seen in the pictures. Should not be priced the same.. Room described as 60 m² but it's actually standard size, the additional space is a separate room accessible from outside only. Disappointed with the room size, Hotel manager did not offer a proper solution at first.. had to spent the whole first day trying to get answers.

Review 8：After we were given a different Room, the vacation was just perfect. - Staff - Super nice and helpful. excellent service. - Breakfast - Just great, a lot to choose from. - Children's club - highest standards, all facilities are well kept as new. - Lovely Beach with everything you need (10 min drive). - Wonderful Views

Review 9：Initially we were given a smaller room with very limited exposure to the sun. Therefore the pool was constantly cold (early May) and unusable. It was lucky that there was another room available and management moved us the next day. It was smooth sailing from then on but the initial room should not be on the same price tariff.

Review 10：Beautiful place with charming rooms, especially the ones with a private pool and a large terrace. The staff were all very friendly, passionate and helpful but without interfering. They clearly knew the area very well too and gave some excellent restaurant tips and day trip ideas. The massages were great too and the breakfast was lovely.

Review 15：Any dislikes were just minor details most of which were quickly resolved if you bothered to ask. The hill the hotel is on is good and bad as it gives good views but it is a hike from the pool/bar to reception!

You have access to the surrounding towns through taxis that come quickly and are not too expensivew. There is enough on site if you don't want to go out. Most of all, you felt that the team really wanted to help you have a good time.

Review 17：- Views from our room were a bit obstructed bc we were on the first floor, so for that reason I think we overpaid - Crete is huge, but you will have to take a cab everywhere from the hotel. Not too much of a hassle, but just a consideration

The place is beautiful and easy going, the people are amazing and even the other guests we encountered with were super nice. Review 33：Bathroom too hot, lots of steps everywhere but I had a broken toe and still managed to get around OK, so no one else should have an issue. The spa items looked nice but €120 for a pedi and manicure is excessive anywhere in the world. If they were even remotely reasonable we would have got them.
