Review 2：Gary and Nic's hospitality was amazing. Our welcome was delightful and all of our needs were met. No.1 Oak house also arranged a restaurant for us in the evening and the food was extremely good. Nic's cakes on arrival were spectacular and her full english breakfast outstanding.
Review 3：The owners treated us like special guests but also made the house feel like home though it was a much better decorated home than what I could ever achieve. The breakfast assortment was vast with fresh ingredients & homemade fare. My birthday omelette topped everything. What a special way to start my day.

Review 5：We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and now and again we come across a little gem of a place which ticks all the boxes; stylish, different, elegant, quirky, comfortable ...... Gary & Nikki were welcoming, warm and interesting hosts. Afternoon tea on arrival was served with hand-made cakes and scones. Breakfast was a delicious feast of home cooked and home baked favourites. A treat to be repeated
Review 6：Perfect experience for us of a 3 day stay in Cotswold area. Amazing host of very handsome and energetic Gary plus very caring and great-cooking Nicola. The whole house is one of the best designed with all the arts and unique furnitures. Really enjoy the breakfast time chatting with Gary and Nicola and we become close friends. Lastly, excellent orientation from Nicola on what to do in town and made our trip so lovely. Thank you, Gary and Nicola. We will be in touch.
Review 7：Absolutely fabulous stay. The hosts are lovely and friendly and make you feel at home straight away. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible - i would highly recommend the oak house to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway
Review 8：From arrival to departure we were treated in an excellent manner by the owners. A very homely atmosphere with a visible willingness to assist visitors in any possible way. The premises are maintained to the highest standard and we look forward to another visit.

Review 10：The couple who run Oak House No.1 are friendly and fun, and we enjoyed the company of the other guests as well in this tiny spot. The welcome included a gorgeous tea with beautiful cakes and home-made scones (no skimping here!) and a wonderful extensive breakfast. The rooms were interesting and highly individual, yet comfortable and relaxing.

Review 14：The hosts were amazing. We took our friend, a real foodie from New York, and she connected with the hosts on so many levels, as they're real foodies as well. The place is beautiful, a highly luxurious experience.

Review 16：Nicola and Gary were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was wonderful although we found it very difficult to decide which one to go for at the time of booking because they all have their own characteristics and charms. We went for the Garden view room which was lovely and we were able to spend some time in the garden which was incredibly peaceful and tranquil. Although we only stayed for one night, we wished we could have stayed longer so will be making sure we can spend another weekend there before too long. Tetbury is lovely and there are several pubs/restaurants where you can eat although Nicola's cooking is fantastic so you won't want to stray too far away. Oak House No 1 combines homely touches, modern features and artistic design to provide a luxurious and peaceful escape in beautiful surroundings.
