Located on the banks of Costa Beck, Low Costa Mill is set in a peaceful haven on the outskirts of Pickering. It features an indoor pool, a children’s playground, free Wi-Fi access and free on-site parking.
Surrounded by 10 acres of gardens and woodland, the cottages at Low Costa Mill each feature a fully-equipped kitchen, a seating area with a sofa, a TV with a DVD player, a hairdryer and a bathroom with a bath and a shower. Review 1：Last minute booking based on previous excellent reviews (which were entirely accurate), and the location. We were not disappointed. Indeed we intend to return soon and will also recommend to friends and family.
Review 2：First time staying at Low Costa Mill but would highly recommend. We stayed at Farriers cottage which had everything including lovely beamed ceilings bringing out the character in the cottage. Location was amazing, so much greenery and woodland walks, animals to meet and my niece even got to feed the goats and with swimming pool and playground for kids on site you could easily not leave the site. Lots of information on local takeaways etc, board games and books to borrow should the weather not be great. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Review 4：Comfortable cottage with a private swimming pool 5 steps from the front door. Plenty of green surroundings with a huge collection of children's outdoor toys. Kids loved it as did we. Owners are welcoming & full of local knowledge. We will stay again & recommend to anyone.
Review 5：This is a fantastic place to stay, especially with young kids! There is loads of room for kids to run and play and the indoor swimming pool means there is always something to do even if it rains. Our children were worn out at the end of everyday and slept better than at home, which made for happy parents! The location in Pickering is also great; you're so close to the Moors and all the sights and activities that they have to offer.

Review 7：Great quiet location, car required for travel. Private swimming pool was ideal for a play about. Large play area for kinds of all ages. Loved the large snakes and ladders, hop scotch and checkers Which were on pathing at the back of the play area. Lovely wood walk, with Easter hunt planned out for the kids. Tracey, the owner was most helpfull. Great couple of days away.

Review 9：The cottages and indoor heated pool were very well maintained. The grounds were lovely with the added bonus of the horses, chicken & goats . Very friendly welcome and advice from the owners. Will defiantly be booking again!!
Review 10：A warm and friendly welcome, the cottage we stayed in was clean and well presented. The location is great, tucked away and quiet but only a short drive from the attractions of North Yorkshire. Well equipped kitchen and the pleasure of a log fire on an autumn evening. Everything in the cottage worked and was clean. The pool was great.
Review 11：A really amazing place to stay with everything you could need The owners, who are extremely welcoming and friendly, have thought of everything and keep the cottage, all the grounds and facilities in immaculate condition. The swimming pool and large play area is fantastic for families.

We stayed at Farriers cottage which was lovely,spotless clean & had everything you could wish for. The free wi if was a bonus as was the swimming pool. The pool was the reason that we booked the cottage & we certainly were not disappointed as the kids loved this & didn't want to come out. Will definitely be back again soon.
Review 14：The accomodation was a bit tired, may be due to being the end of the summer. Lots of very minor grumbles but when added together can spoil the week end. problems encountered 1) cooker controls had worn off so made it hard to set 2) Wifi was very weak 3) No matches to light the fire 4) Beeping smoke alarm (battery was replaced on the second time of asking) 5) Bathroom cold 6) Was supposed to be only 1.9 mls to Pickering (easy walking) what was not evident was at least half the distance was down a very dark single track country lane

Review 17：Shower area away from direct pool side - water just drained straight into pool - would have been good. Toilet area in pool possibly needs new flooring - there was always a puddle! Cottages were homely buta little tired but had everything we needed. Overall, we could fault very very little.
Review 18：Play field and park for kids was fab! Pool was great. We were really lucky with the weather and could make the most of all the outdoor facilities. Absolutely loved it! Kids all missing their 'holiday house!'.
Review 19：The only thing we could recommend is that the swimming pool could do to be a bit warmer! We went in every day but probably would've spent longer in there if it had been a bit warmer.
Review 20：Fabulous place for children. Our 3 year old and one year old both loved it! Lots of activities for them to do including a huge outdoor play area, indoor swimming pool, a wide variety of animals to see , an Easter egg hunt in the woods, a duck pond and lovely grounds. Very friendly, helpful owners. Ideal location - very short drive to centre of Pickering, near to Dalby Forest, Thorton Le Dale, Scarborough and many other lovely places. Will definitely be visiting again with family.

Review 24：The setting is peaceful, with a pond and lambs baaing gently in the field outside. Log fire was awesome (logs supplied). Cottage was very clean, well kept and kitted out. Owners are very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Can't think of anything to negatively criticise really. Happily recommend to friends and family. No children there when we were but looks well suitable with pool and large play area with equipment.
