Review 1：Rooms need to be decorated as a bit run down. The bath in our room was very odd - it was very small and had a step in it so it was awkward to take a shower and a bath.

Review 2：Female staff at reception were extremely helpful - gave us little print outs of taxi numbers as the hitel is a little further away from the old and new ports, helped us with how to book ferry to Hydra and just all round friendly. Staff doing breakfast (if you sit at the veranda area) were very accommodating as well. Room was very spacious so value for money is very good. We also got upgraded to a full sea view without asking. Breakfast / bar area is very nice

Review 3：The wifi is accessible everywhere but you need to log on to it again and again and again... which is annoying.

Review 4：Even though the location of the hotel is not the best, when it comes to how close/far it is from the port and the town center, the hotel is nicely located by the ocean with its own man-made beach. So if you'd like to lie in the sun and relax by the ocean - even take a short swim - this is the perfect hotel. Breakfast great and the hotel offers free pickup of luggage at the port!

Review 5：Beach infrastructure very poor especially for a 4 star hotel. Hotel would look much better after a renovation, classic style with a modern touch. Poor bar selection. Prices relatively high. Poor business centre for a four star hotel.

Review 6：Staff at reception and room service extremely helpful and polite!!! It's them who compensate for the poor infrastructure and keep the rating of the hotel as a four star! Also liked the piano music at the bar restaurant.

Review 7：It was not a 10 minute walk but at least a 30 minute walk from town. The walk is dangerous because of the many cars and motorcycles.

Review 11：The breakfast is very nice and the beds are very comfy. The hotel is situated on a very good location on the island and almost all the rooms have great sea view with big balconies the staff was amazingly helpful. They gave pretty good advice On where to eat on the island. More important than that, they were really very helpful when we forgot the iphone charger in our room. They had it delivered all the way to hydra to us with a very nice packaging!!! Definitely a great choice for accomodation!

Review 12：Lovely spot, great views a bit of a walk to the port and old town but you can't have everything in Spetses, its tiny with not a lot of decent hotel accommodation. If you want hotel entertainment and gimmicks, this isn't for you but if you want a peaceful pleasant, no hassle stay then its great which is what we wanted.

Review 20：The noise all night in that area was unbelievable. There is some sort of club nearby and they played loud music both nights I was there until 4am. By six they were emptying bins under my window. It's too far away from the port to walk all the time, needs a moped or quad or bicycle. Dreary rooms, and very much in need of a makeover. Bathrooms were even worse. The website pics make it look a lot more boutique-y and nicer than the reality. Breakfast was close to inedible. But if on a budget, or as in this case your top three choices are unavailable, it's fine for one or two nights.

Review 21：The staff were helpful, mostly, and quite pleasant. There was also a nice area to sunbathe in on a stone platform next to the sea.

Review 22：The third bed was unacceptable. The bar is very poor in choice of wines and no atmosphere, no wonder nobody stayed for a drink even though the terrace has a beautiful view.

Review 25：Our family of four fit very comfortably with room to spare. The room had a spectacular view of the water, especially from our private deck. The breakfast offerings were reasonable by way of selection and taste. The view from the restaurant (breakfast) is also spectacular. The staff helped with all of our concierge needs. The hotel offers free shuttle from the port, so contact the hotel to let them know when you are arriving so they can send a car to meet you.

Review 79：We were met at the ferry by a staff member and within 10 minutes we were at the hotel. The view from reception was beautiful and from our room was breathtaking. All staff were very helpful and obviously proud of their hotel and Island of Spetses. The private beach provided a cool place to relax and swim.

Review 84：My pick-up from the port was free and easy to arrange in advance. That's a big plus, after a long journey! When I checked in I was offered a free upgrade, so I enjoyed a gorgeous view to the sea. The rooms was very clean and the staff all around the hotel, very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit and homemade products. You can have breakfast at a beautiful veranda, which is the ideal spot to spend after-morning hours and relax with a book, or just gazing at the amazing view. The walk to the town doesn't take more than 10 minutes although it took me more, as I stopped every few steps to take pictures of that picturesque part of Spetses! I had a fantastic stay and I'd come back anytime! Definitely value for money and I strongly recommend it!

Review 85：That wasn't my first visit at the Spetses Hotel. This time I was a conference participant. As I was able to enjoy excellent service during my other visit, my high expectations were fulfilled. After spending a few hours at the Conference Room, I was able to take my beach towel and hit the hotel's beach in just 3 minutes! The breakfast was very good. Nothing extravagant, really suitable to a Greek island and I was very glad to have fresh fruit every day! Even the group buffet was full of delicious, fresh homemade dishes! I was pleasantly surprised when a few members of the staff remembered me from my last visit! Very friendly people. making you feel like home!

Arriving on a weekday we were fortunate to have our rooms upgraded and the sea view from our balcony was awesome. We were pleasantly surprised to find homemade jam and fresh fruit for breakfast and the staff were always helpful and generously kind. We hope to come back and see more of this island.

Review 99：Water is a little choppy in the hotel 'beach' area, would recommend walking 100m or so down the road to Kaiki beach where water is a little calmer (however you will have to pay for loungers there)
