Only 3 rooms on their own floor, but with access to lounge and garden. Breakfast is great, with lots of choice, all prepared to order. Only a short walk from the excellent town centre. Review 21:Friendly owner, I had an early start and he got up to prepare breakfast for me well ahead of normal time. Very large room and big bed! Convenient to walk into town.
Review 22:This was a brilliant find, Steve made us feel extremely welcome and had lots of recommendations for the weekend. The room had spectacular views and was very spacious. Wadebridge itself was charming and kept us entertained for a very pleasant afternoon. We went to a tapas restaurant called little dishes for dinner in the evening which was superb and then cycled to Bedruthan Steps and back on the Sunday. Idyllic weekend with every eventuality catered for, the weekend felt like a proper break. Qudos to Wadebridge Bed & Breakfast. Thanks
Review 23:Nothing to dislike!
Review 24:Steve is a wonderful host who couldn't be more accommodating. It is a lovely house, with nice clean, warm and modern rooms. This has now become my regular place to stay in Cornwall.
Review 25:The B&B was comfortable, nice decor, excellent shower, wonderful breakfast and very congenial host. We have stayed in many B&Bs both abroad and in the UK and this has to be the best.
Review 26:The personal touch, and a willingness to help . The Breakfast must be had nothing is to much trouble in the choice of food for breakfast. And a good knowledge of places to dine in the evening.
Review 27:Friendly owner Steve was a delight, he took us to the car when it was raining hard with an umbrella to keep us dry. He was a good cook and friendly host, always trying to please and make sure we had everything we wanted. He advised on sightseeing trip in local area.
Review 28:The only thing we didn't like was having to say goodbye.
Review 29:We enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was very comfortable with lovely views. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. And Steve, the owner, was an excellent host with a great sense of humour.
Review 30:Steve is the wonderful host - very helpful - and a great cook. The breakfast was excellent. The location was ideal to explore various parts of Cornwall. Had a great night's sleep in comfortable bed. Highly recommended as somewhere to stay.
Review 31:We regret we couldn't stay longer at the B&B. Some general advice: Shops in the town close promptly at 5 pm. If you need anything, better go in the morning before setting out. Cornwall is a considerable distance from other UK holiday areas we have enjoyed through the years. It helped to stop at a stately home or other attraction to break up the drive en route. Some of the some better-known coastal areas are rather crowded during the school holidays. Stick to the M roads when possible. Other approaches such as the A303 that alternate one or two lanes in each direction frequently slow traffic to a crawl. Drive carefully in the narrow lanes.
Review 32:We just stayed 3 terrific nights at Wadebridge B&B. Steve is an excellent and knowledgeable host--jovial and quick to pick up on your interests and make suggestions of what to do and how to get there. We no sooner mentioned our interest in Port Isaac (9 mi. away) and the TV show, 'Doc Martin', than he presented info on a walking tour by a lifelong local resident that we attended the next morning. Breakfasts were varied, of high quality--including items not normally offered, e.g., smoked salmon--and well prepared. The B&B is comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated, and modern. It is located on a quiet street in easy walking distance of several options for dinner. There are interesting books all over the house for guests to enjoy. Steve's hospitality knows no bounds; his service was very friendly and welcoming; no request was too small or went unanswered. He was available all the time we were there and prepared customized, printed directions, menus, etc. It was a total pleasure. There is so much to do in the area you could easily (and happily) spend 5 or more days there.
