Review 1：No free wifi, wifi cards available to purchase but very expensive. Although not on holiday to use wifi it's a bonus to have in order to check in for a return flight in the following few days.

Review 7：The staff were amazing. Most were mature staff and this showed in the way the hotel was run so efficiently. The breakfast buffet and poolside menu was excellent and above average. The evening buffet was also very good. The pool, poolside seating area and internal areas were really clean and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Elounda.

Review 10：The wifi is not free which is a joke! But I was only there for one night so it's ok Also they allow people to leave their towels on loungers by the pool! This should not be allowed! People should have to give it to someone else if they are gone for more than 15mins.

Review 12：Absolutely brilliant week at the Elounda ilion. We had a sea view bungalow which had brilliant views of the bay. Breakfast was excellent and the food at the snack bar was also great. Staff were amazing especially Nikos! We will be back!
Review 13：The wifi is not free what nowadays is not acceptable, specially for a hotel like this. Apart from that the hotel is very nice but too expensive if you just want a place to stay to visit the area around.

Review 23：I paid a lot for a double room with a sea view and when we arrived I realised why - we had been given a 4 bed 2 balcony bungalow. It was lovely but we did not need so much space - we had paid for something that we didn't ask for or need.

Review 42：So many things I didn't like : 1- As we came to have breakfast around 10:25, employees were already clearing the buffet, 5 minutes before the end of the breakfast period (10:30). They were also cleaning around us as if to say "please leave already". We did call in advance to ask if we could come a bit late. Very bad treatment and disregard to clients . 2- Free water from dispenser was flavored with the neighboring apple juice..... Apple water... Shameful 3- Very small fridge, useless 4- You pay for WIFI. Shameful 5- You pay for safe key. Even more shameful 6- we repeatedly asked for a twin bed , and still got two separate beds put together . Uncomfortable bed as well! 7-Bad shower with low water pressure 8-Too many kids shouting and screaming , not suitable for couples at all.

Review 44：The hotel was not at walking distance from Elounda town or a decent beach - a car is needed. If attempting to walk, be mindful of a few steep hills.
Review 45：We were lucky enough to get the BEST room in the hotel (Room 33) overlooking the bay from a huge terrace with sunbeds. The room was very clean (cleaned every day) and spacious. The buffet breakfast was different every morning, and very tasty.

This was an older room that hasn't been refurbished and was quite a distance from the pool, reception etc. If I had stayed there originally I would not have enjoyed my stay.
