Reviews for Elounda Palm Hotel
Review 1:There was nothing we didnt like.. All was perfect!
Review 2:All was perfect!! Really perfect. We had a luxury room with the shared pool (pool shared with 2 other rooms) - that's great - you open the door from your room and... you are on your private terrassa with yor private pool with the beatiful view!!! All was very clean and the personal was more than helpful. The hotel is not on the beach, but that is absolutely not a problem if you travel by car. One of the best beaches we found on the whole Crete - is just 15 min by car from the hotel in the place called Istron. So all the time we went there - the views by the road was spectacular!!! So i would rate the hotel as 10 out of 10! Much better and cozy in comparison with other hotels in Elounda which are much more expensive!
Review 3:some noise from the nearby road during the whole night. Beds are just matresses (quite used and feeble already) posed on the floor. Not easy to get up when a little older.
Review 4:Beautiful seaview from rooms and their large terrace. Wonderful pool and garden.
Review 5:The bed was a mattress on a slightly raised section of the floor. Not very comfortable and difficult to get up from. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Poor bar service. Disappointing A la Carte menu choices.
Review 6:Good hotel in a reasonable location. Good restaurant.
Review 7:Location - too far out of the town to walk to safely as no footpaths. Our room needed a good refurbishment, staff were thin on the ground and the wifi was so slow that I gave up trying to use it.
Review 8:The pool attached to our Junior Suite was right outside the patio door and is shared with the next door room only.
Review 9:A few ants found their home in our bathroom, but otherwise it was all clean. Beach and town centre are a bit too far for a quick walk.
Review 10:The staff were very kind and helpful; the lobby, pool area and our superior bungalow were quiet, pretty and comfortable.
Review 11:Nothing - it was all good.
Review 12:We only stayed for one night on our way back to the airport and it enjoyed it so much we wished we had stayd an extra night or two. The restaurant, bar and staff were excellent.
Review 13:The pool is not too big. The pictures on booking are misleading!!!!!There are pools shared but 2 suites that look better than the main pool.Do not expect something spectacular from the pool. However, the pool wasclean, filled with sea water. Our room was close to the bar and therewas a lot of noise from the music, if we wanted to let the windows open.
Review 14:The location is very quiet and less than 5 min drive from the mainvillage of Elounda. The breakfast and the buffet dinner were deliciousand with a lot of choices. The cocktails were excellent and only for7€!!! You should try them !!
Review 15:The property was old although they tried to keep it clean. The room that was given to us had a built-in double bed having as a result the mattress to be at a very low height and being very stiff. The bathroom had a very bad odor and the room had several mosquitos which ruined twice our sleep. The breakfast was good but they did not provided iced/frozen coffee as they do the majority of Greek hotels for free. The first day we have ordered 2 frozen cappuccinos which were charged 4 euros each!! The hotel is near to Elounda village and maybe this is the reason that it is overestimated and expensive for its old facilities. Unfortunately we found in the area very late other new hotels/facilities that are really value for money. The hotel is old and overestimated.
Review 16:Breakfast, staff.
Review 17:Best stay on east Crete. Attention to detail, extremely well kept grounds, over the top breakfast bouffet, best shower anywhere, staff working hard but Smiling constantly. We found a gem.
Review 18:Had to ask for kettle in the room which think should be standard. However we received it in five minutes which was great but unfortunately it leaked! But we managed! Us English and our tea!
Review 19:Loved the gardens and view from the room.Breakfast was delicious. And Sotiros was the perfect barman with unique apple mojitos! He is also known as Leonardo!!!!!!
Review 20:The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Dirty and too much noisy!
Review 21:Stayed one night - free upgrade Good restaurant and very nice pool area
Review 22:the shower was to small and not great.

Review 25:location was really good just a Short walk to the Main Square,Facilities/Staff were Excellent
Review 26:two single beds pushed together, not very comfortable for a couple! My credit card was charged without asking me!

Review 36:Quite quiet in mid October. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff who were on hand to help and recommend things to do. Easy walk into the town.
Review 37:Mini Suite Pool was extremely cold but it was early October
Review 38:Views Hotel staff helpfulness Mini Suite
Review 39:Traffic noise
Review 40:Friendly helpful staff
Review 41:Nothing
Review 42:Relaxed atmosphere, nothing was to much trouble. Friendly staff who were just fantastic people.
Review 43:No window shields protecting from mosquitoes and bugs
Review 44:Breakfast Location Nice view Value for money Friendly stuff
Review 45:After the second time coming back here, it's as if I come back home. The staff is super friendly and greeted us back with joy. The biggest reason for our coming back was natural for the Coctailbarman Sortirs who makes the best cocktails I've tasted. Ever Great praise for him.
Review 46:Genuinely that was the most exclusive hotel in Crete we've stayed in. Everything was beyond perfection. One small minus is that WiFi is available only in the public areas, but that was not a big deal for us.
Review 47:We loved Elounda Palm Hotel. We've booked a double-room with garden view, but on arrival we were told that our room has been upgraded to a one with sea view. Our surprise was double when we were led to a top-floor room with enormous balcony (the size of two rooms) with panoramic sea view, sun-beds and couches, stylish interior and deluxe bathroom. The price was still the same. Maybe we were treated this way due to the low-season, but still that was a deep reverence to the guests of the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, like nothing I've experienced before in a 3 star hotel. There was an unimaginable variety of food. The hotel is surrounded with lavish gardens of palm trees and flowers, and has a large pool with salt water. The view is towards Spinalonga island. Highly recommended.
Review 48:The displacement of the Hotel on the Map has been indicated incorrectly. We stayed at this Hotel at the end of September. The Room is spacious and cosy. The Room was cleaned every day thoroughly. We had to change the Room as the first Room was near the pool-bar and thus it was very noisy even after 12 p.m. The other Room we rent was far from the reception and the restourant as well and therefore it was quite quiet. There was quite a great number. In the Rooms was mosquitos, so we had to buy an anti-mosquitos device. We like to swim in the Sea but it is about 20 min walk from the Hotel. Wifi in the pool-bar and reception Zone only.
Review 49:The absence of road sign when arriving from Elounda (we then spent 30min to find the place, far from all the other hotels of Elounda), thefact we had to carry our luggages all the stairs when we arrived (nostaff in the afternoon). The breakfast. The smell in the bathroom (likein a boat, pbbly due to the use of salted water), the lack of bed base... Bad value for money.
Review 50:The view from the room, the bathroom.
Review 51:noisy hotel since close to the main road, rooms without charm Not enough sunbeds, all were booked by retired people that woke up at 7 for this... there was nothing to fix the shutters outside, so they were slamming all night long with the wind. Very poor breakfast (liquid) products!
Review 52:big & clean rooms
Review 53:No hot drink facility's in rooms hot drinks only through roomservice or bar with restricted hours disgraceful for a supposed4star rating
Review 54:Rooms were clean, light and spacious the reception staff very pleasent
Review 55:Poor evening buffet. Coffee & juice at breakfast not great (pastries were).
Review 56:We stayed in the senior pool villa, which is very luxurious for a family, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (with large spa baths), as well as living room, kitchen and private pool. Breakfast & lunch good. Friendly helpful staff.
Review 57:It was a bit of a hike to get into Elounda (15 minute walk) and the road is dark at night. That being said, a taxi from Elounda city center to hotel in 3 minutes and 5 Euros so the location would not hold me back from staying there again.
Review 58:Beautiful hotel and settings, clean and modern rooms, awesome breakfast.
Review 59:The breakfast was superb. The hotel has a warm homely atmosphere and staff are excellent
Review 60:Convenient, clean, good location, nice amenities, friendly staff.

Review 64:Access road to main road dangerous
Review 65:I liked the view from my room and the size. The staff was great and the breakfast was outstanding.
Review 66:Not enough sun loungers Breakfast was basic
Review 67:Big beds Nice big clean rooms Lovely lobby area
Review 68:Breakfase is amazing !!! the area around the pool is a beautiful way to spend your evening.
