Review 8：The location was lovely, with a nice beach a few minutes drive away. Buya drink there and two sunbeds and an umbrella are included for the day.A few reasonable tavernas nearby. Easy to reach the south coast if thenorth wind is blowing. A few interesting sites within easy reach. You doneed a car. Didn't use the pool as the beach was so nice. Worthgoing to Elounda and Ag. Nikolaos for choice of tavernas. Lidl near Ag.Nik. Is good for decent wine and picnics. Dr. Kounenos is a lovely warmman who makes you feel very welcome. We'd booked a two storeymaisonette, but as the place was empty he put us in a 2 bedroomed villawith two balconies and outstanding views. Very spacious and witheverything we needed. Plenty of storage space, plenty of hot water, theshower worked well and the loo flushed ok (often a problem in Greece!!)Yes, we would stay there again. And it was very peaceful. Goodnight's sleep here!
Review 9：Just be aware that the apartments are a fair distance from Istron up a very steep track from the busy National road into Istron. We didn't feel the journey into the village was walkable although we did see some hardier souls trudging up the hill.
Review 10：We had a very warm welcome from the delightful owner, Mr Kounenos. The apartment (no.7) was comfortable and spotlessly clean with a recently refitted bathroom. The apartment had a large private terrace with amazing views, a table and chairs and sun loungers. The pool is very clean with plenty of sun loungers, a toddler area and beautiful views, The apartments are well located for the beaches at Istron and sightseeing around Eastern Crete. Highly recommended.
Review 11：The air-condition was broken down, our host made really an extra effort to get it fixed: even if the arriving of the technician after midnight was a bit disturbing, this effort was clearly a positive fact.
Review 12：Very nice apartments! Beautiful quiet place, not far from the beach. Clean comfortable rooms with a big balcony. The view to Mirabello bay is amazing! The swimming pool is really good: big, always clean and has a very good location- with the sea view and among olive trees. Perfect place to relax. We enjoyed our staying there and hope to come again!!!!!

Review 27：Lovely clean with amazing views. The rooms feature everything from utensils, a 5-minute drive away in Istron, with wonderful tavernas, supermarkets, and beautiful beaches. The hotel has a very good and clean pool, very good prices and helpful staff.

The apartment is up a very steep hill and is 20mins walk to the village, beach. Its OK downhill but hard work back up! Definitely hire a car - there are loads of great places to visit within a short drive.
