Reviews for The Beachhouse
Review 1:We had a great time at the BeachHouse recently. Our beach view apartment was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals etc. Tom and Kaya were excellent hosts. They advised us on a great deal of things to do on the island such as where to eat, bus times and directions. Aegina island is stunning and we especially enjoyed our trip to the temple of Aphia, the place was out of this world! Would definetely recommend the BeachHouse!
Review 2:Can't fault the location, absolutely stunning views, will definitely be visiting again. Great self-catering apartments and the management go out of there way to help you. Thank you.
Review 3:Nothing to dislike - it was amazing
Review 4:We loved our stay at the Beachhouse, our hosts Tom & Kaiya were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. The beach is amazing and right on your doorstep. The location was so peaceful and tranquil. We absolutely loved every minute of our time there and we will definitely be back next year!
Review 5:Not really a dislike, kitchen & bathrooms need a little modernising but hosts first season & they are going to make improvements over the winter. We didn't like leaving this place as it's fab!
Review 6:Tom & Kaiya were fantastic hosts, we only stayed two nights but we're made to feel very welcome. Location is in a quieter part of island, great for relaxing. Lots of facilities & restaurants nearby. We were going to the taverna around the corner & were invited by Tom & Kaiya to join them & other guests for a meal & drinks.
Review 7:The bathroom.
Review 8:Location just by the nice small beach, crystal clear water, evening view at Athens, homelike atmosphere, plenty of space in the apartment, charming décor. And the owners. Kaya and Tom where very kind and helpful driving us to the store or to the other villages, giving advices on what to see and what to do in the area. They even willingly organized (and joined!) football-dinner party, which was great opportunity to meet other guests. Thank you! We had lovely time. Plus there are few very nice taverns in that teeny-tiny village.
Review 9:Tom and Kyah are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. They are keen to ensure that all their guests are having a good time. They are always willing to give you a lift if you need to go to the shops. If you like swimming in the sea, this is the perfect location: the sea is on your door step!
Review 10:The bed was a bit hard. Bathroom floor was wet almost all the time because of no shower curtain (I know; they are not nice...). Perhaps some kind of floorcloth to dry? And a mat to the doorway?
Review 11:Peaceful and relaxing place! It was wonderful to be by the lovely beach. Seaview was perfect!! We got all the information and help we needed and the owners were great in every ways. The village is small, not much to see, but car renting went smoothly and gave more opportunities.
Review 12:The hosts, Tom and Kayre were fabulous. Friendly and answered any questions. I was working unfortunately but able to swim all of the time, right out the front door.
Review 13:We were sold two apartments with sea views but were given rooms with no view at all (we got rooms 7 & 8), which was a huge disappointed, since the selection of our booking was based on this criterion. The location of the beachhouse is in the middle of nowhere, you need a car to get to the supermarket etc., even walking to the village of vagia is not a comfortable option. thus, prepare to add the rent of the car to the price of the accommodation.
Review 14:Beautiful small beach in the front of the accommodation. Clean apartments. Quiet and relaxed.
Review 15:There wasn't always enough hot water as it was solar powered!
Review 16:The hosts were amazing and really cared about the place. The location, it's proximity to Athens. The quality of the apartment, beautiful and loved, and very reasonably priced.
Review 17:We did not like at all when it was time for us to leave The Beachouse. :(
Review 18:Kaiya and Tom were very friendly and welcoming. Their helpful hospitality and the great location of The Beachhouse with crystal clear sea and a sand beach (were no trash is laying around as you can find so often on other beaches) hidden away from tourist masses made it a great Holiday. The Apartment we had was spacious and the appartment-kitchen was equipped with everything you need for "vacation-cooking". We mostly ate at the restaurants close by where they had a variety of fresh veggies and seafood.
Review 19:Nothing :)
Review 20:Great place to stay, lovely rooms in greek style, well accomodated. Enough place to seat outside and enjoy the sea view & sound. The owners, Tom and Kaiya are amazing ppl who helped us a lot to get to the island (we travelled during the strike on 1st of May). Really open, carying and nice ppl that you can talk about everything with! Lovely Greek tavern is located nearby. They are serving fresh seafood & amazing Musaka.
Review 21:All perfect, would have loved to have stayed longer....we'll be back.
Review 22:I cannot recommend this place enough......we thought it would be decent from the photos but they just don't do it justice! Paradise on earth!! But what made it really a trip to remember was the attentiveness of the staff/owners. I forget some of the names but Tom and Kaiya were absolutely flawless and made our trip perfect.
Review 23:Tom and Kaiya are great! We really enjoed staying at the Beachhouse! They were really keen on satisfying all our needs! Definatelly visiting again in the summer!!!
Review 24:The owners, Tom& Kaiya, are beginners in trade hospitality and you can clearly feel it. Their behavior were cordial and chilly but essentially circumstance manners. The wifi is not working in rooms just in front of the reception. We asked to leave the hotel half an hour later but they don't allow, even if we had later check-out with booking and in the hotel was almost empty. We arrived from the port riding with our backpacks, and we casually met Tom in his car, about 100 mt before the hotel, and he didn't show us the direction for getting there (no sign at the crossroad) or just ask for carrying us ours backpacks or helping in anyways.(maybe because we didn't need the collection service from Aegina Port that they “offer” for a surcharge of 10 euros). You can't act as a hotelier, if you're not.
Review 25:The position is great, and the fornitures in the rooms are really nice.
Review 26:Nothing.
Review 27:Tom & Kaiya (the owners) made us feel very welcome and were always available if we required assistance. The location - quiet beach on the doorstep sipping a pink mojito.
Review 28:Salty tap water. Couldn't make coffee or tea or drink straight.
Review 29:Excellent view from room
Review 30:Location fantastic hosts adorable
Review 31:It wasn't as private as I was hoping and the shower was a little challenging.
