Reviews for Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel
Review 1:They should standardly pre heat the privet pool in the villas. as in October (when we were there) only the very brave would dip in if the pool is not heated to the max. We requested to heat the water, this took a few days as it is a process. I think that once they know a room is booked they should as standard prepare the pool to be the right temperature. so we could use the facility from our first day. our villa had great sun beds but with the layout that our room had there was no point in the day were we could relax in the sun by our pool, only in the shade. This problem was in our villa and a few others but all the rest seem to have a different lay out with sun beds that are actually in the sun with a shading umbrella. I think this should be an option in the room description, as in October this was a disadvantage, but i can see how in the summer months this could be an advantage to have so much shade.
Review 2:The privet Peninsula beach, the flat sea with clean blue water at the Elounda bay, this makes swimming beyond our beach further into the bay and looking out at the surrounding from within the blue waters an unforgettable experience! The spa!! you must deep in the infinity pool at the spa and see the view, it will blow you away! Our sea front suite with steps down to the beach! Breakfast at the peninsula was lovely. The food at the near by Elounda village as well at the hotels restaurants was exquisite. We are sure to be back as it was one of our best holidays - short and fulfilling. It wasn't cheep but i'm glad we choose the Peninsula suites rather then the main hotel as you do get so much more for the extra you pay.
Review 3:Rather expensive! TV and music equipment in the rooms could be better!
Review 4:Very polite and professional staff!! Very good location and facilities! Very clean! Top restaurants!!! I would recommend it without any doubts!!
Review 5:The weather was not the best but one can hardly blame the hotel for this
Review 6:Having been to hundreds of hotels over a period of more than 50 years, we would rate this as one of the best we have ever been. Would go back tomorrow!
Review 7:nothing
Review 8:The staff were brilliant and did everything to make us feel welcome! They seriously went above and beyond. It's in a beautiful location and we had our own private pool and access to the beach from our room. It was very relaxing!
Review 9:Stunning villa views with private pool & private beach . Loved breakfast included on the terrace
Review 10:The pillows on the beds were extremely poor
Review 11:Staff very helpful
Review 12:We found the mattress a bit hard, but memory mattress topper could easy to rectify it.
Review 13:Suites are amazing, and they really spoil you with small but important things like free bottles of water and little treats in the room. It is a lot of personal space, nobody on the top of each other. And though there were many families with young children it was never bother to anyone.
