Review 1：We were told after check in the dining room was closed . We filed out a breakfast menu dropped in to reception to be told by a rude women can't do breakfast the cook was away. I explained my wife was having treatment for cancer if we were told before check in we would of booked elsewhere her answer was there is plenty of places to dine in Bendigo how rude.

Review 3：Lack of hospitality by the people at reception. Very abrupt, not friendly, did not give any information about the place or events to do. The pool was extremely cold even though stated as heated. It also needed a vaccum of leaves in the bottom on both days, which wss not done. There were two bbqs available which is great, however they were filthy and no cloths to clean them. No instructions on how to turn the gas on. The bed was soft and had roll together!

Review 7：Went to pay accomodation charge only to find already charged to my credit card despite my advice on checkin will pay by eftpos on checkin or checkout..whichever they preferred.advised this would be ok either way.One BBQ broken lid the other filthy on checkin

Review 9：No crockery or cutlery apart from cups, saucers and some spoons. Only the main room was air conditioned, so the smaller bedroom was quite hot and stuffy without having the door open.

Review 13：We all had a lovely time staying at the Lakeview. The rooms were very comfortable and the outdoor area where we sat and enjoyed our pre dinner drinks and nibbles was very relaxing. Our dinner at Quills Restaurant was excellent too.

Review 14：We ordered breakfast, the night before, for 8-8.30am. Around 9.00 am, I rang reception and asked how much longer will our breakfast be, the reply was, sorry, you never put in an order, I know I did, as I went to reception myself. The reception asked us what we ordered, and I said, don.t worry, as we had an appointment in half an hour, so couldn't wait any longer. Receptionist was sorry, but, we went on our way with no breakfast.

Review 16：Motel is in a very good location, across road from lake, good for a walk around exercise ect. Not far from other attractions either. We always stay in this area every time anyway, we were very happy with this motel also.

Review 17：A noisy women's basketball team with no regard for other guests, and the train track which runs right along the back fence. Nothing to be done about the train track obviously, but a tighter rein on noisy, boisterous guests would be appreciated. Unfortunately, common courtesy is not all that common (though of course that isnt the motels fault)

Review 18：Staff were excellent, the garden area beautifully maintained and relaxing, the room was well appointed with good block out curtains. The shower was nice and big, and the tv was huge! Foxtel and free Wi-Fi were a bonus. Lake Weeroona is just across the road and is beautiful.

Review 25：Being in the end room, which had an exit gate attached. The gate was used throughout the early hours of the morning as other guests were packing up to leave early, the constant banging of the gate was very annoying as it woke us up and made it impossible to enjoy our sleep-in. We were extremely upset at the lack of service for breakfast in the restaurant. We arrived for breakfast about 8:45 am and entered the restaurant through the reception door. The waitress on duty was chatting to two guests at another table , and did not attend to us or acknowledge our presence. We were unsure as to where to sit, or whether to help ourselves to the continental breakfast that was offered as a buffet style/help yourself. We had not previously ordered breakfast the evening before. We sat down at a table anticipating a menu to be given to us, but the waitress on duty completely ignored our presence. We have eaten at your restaurant before for an evening meal, and were very, very impressed with the staff service which is one of the reasons why we chose to stay and eat there again. We waited a good 3-4 minutes with-out even an acknowledgment from the waitress. We then decided to leave and breakfast elsewhere as the waitress continued to chat with the same customers. When we left the restaurant, through the front door we purposefully tried to gain the waitress' attention as we opened the door, but to no avail. We decided at the time of leaving that this experience had left a sour taste in our throat, and decided not to dine there again.

Review 27：Left several cans of mixer drinks in the bar fridge when I checked out. Returned a few hours later to ask if they had been handed in but the staff couldn't find them.

Owners were so helpful when we noticed my husband had left his watch & bracelet behind, very quick to solve our problem, & extremely clean, on arrival we were given an upgrade at no charge as we were staying 2 nights, a very enjoyable stay, & will be booking in for Xmas when visiting our family.

Review 43：I was only there for the night for a function in Bendigo. The staff were professional and the room lived up to expectations if not exceeded slightly. I would say the price point was a little high for a motel but I did book last minute.

Review 46：Room was advertised as a suite but really nothing more than a normal room. Towel rail in bathroom falling off the wall. A power point near the desk would have been helpful. I had to sit at the bench rather than use the desk so I could plug my computer in. About 20 other guests were causing a disturbance out in the court yard until gone midnight. Reception closes at 9.00 pm so you're on your own. Aside from trying to work and being unable to concentrate I had an early start the next ,morning and very little sleep. Not impressed.

Review 70：Located on the main Highway made it extremely difficult to make a right hand turn out of the driveway. I made two attempts at finding the driveway when I first arrived as I again needed to make a right hand turn
