Reviews for Inter-Hotel Orléans Nord
Review 1:Difficult to find entrance to hotel and there is no e trance sign. We found a way in from D2020 eventually but hotel is next to another road and you can't turn in to it from that road. When we tried we had to drive a couple of miles along dual carriageway to find a way to turn back.
Review 2:Close to motorway
Review 3:hard to find the carpark entrance - the hotel is off a busy street and intersection is a little confusing, the hotel provides extra instructions on this
Review 4:quiet clean room, perfect for a business traveller
Review 5:Best beds we have ever slept on! Good service. When we arrived, we did not have a baby crib in the room, as we had requested, but the staff promptly arranged for one and prepared a very confortable bed.
Review 6:Food was pretty gruesome but not sure if that's just the French way or i'm just being fussy. Anyhow after eating dinner we declined breakfast
Review 7:Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms large and clean, crisp clean linen on the beds. Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Free WiFi worked well. Great for an overnight stopover on the way home
Review 8:Trying to find hotel in the first place was a bit difficult. The hotel is advertising its address the same as on booking.com. But when I phoned to explain I could not find the hotel. I was told the actual address was "Bel air" Once found all ok.
Review 9:Location was good, Restaurant in the hotel which served excellent food and wine.
Review 10:Dead insects on the dining room floor.
Review 11:We were delayed and phoned the hotel to say we would arrive very late. We were made to feel easy about it and when we arrived at 2.30am were greeted by a very pleasant lady.
Review 12:Cheap and cheerful for overnight stop on journey to southern France. We had 5 hours delay in Eurotunnel and didnt arrive until after midnight but rang them and they made arrangements to get us access to our room on arrival
Review 13:Shower drain was a bit clogged, but to credit the staff, since they couldn't move us to another room or fix it, they offered us a free breakfast.
Review 14:Nice room and bathroom, good free wifi.
Review 15:Limited/no oversight at the parking lot Could do with an update of the decor
Review 16:Convenient for a night stop over en route to your destination Decent room Decent Wifi Free parking
Review 17:The location was on a busy street, the lobby was nicely remodeled but the rest of the building looked dated, it was extremely hot and there was no AC or fan available.
Review 18:Friendly staff.
Review 19:no air conditioning, windows open to busy road with heavy traffic from early morning, hotel tired, access to hotel via car repair place, foot-deep potholes on access driveway
Review 20:Easy to reach, cleanliness
Review 21:The only minus was that there was no airconditioning in our room. Due to that we had a bad night sleep. Also a bit more parking space would be nice, especially when it is busy at the hotel.
Review 22:We enjoyed out stay at the Hotel on our way back home to Holland. Very nice personnel, food okay, (bath)room okay, breakfast good. Overall se are satisfied about the value for money the hotel offers.
Review 23:We tried to phone to say we were going to be late but the phone was directed to answer machine and the mailbox full.
Review 24:We had a family room which was 2 rooms with a door linking which meant we had 2 bathrooms. Great breakfast and very helpful reception
Review 25:The restaurant had a large coach party and wouldn't fit us in. No decent other places to eat in Saran - just a rather horrible Quick burger joint. Also, very hard to find the entrance to the hotel - it's not sign-posted so easy to miss the way in.
Review 26:Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
Review 27:Lack of illuminated sign. Had great difficulty in finding at night in heavy traffic. Two entrances but both not easy to see. Ended up on Lidle car park to ask for directions. It was within walking distance! Large sign on top of building but small unlit signs from road.
Review 28:Nothing to dislike
Review 29:Dead flies on the floor, living ones in the lamps, poor shower drainage, badly paved access road.
Review 30:Friendly staff, well heated rooms, free parking, rich breakfast.
Review 31:Needs some more attention to keeping rooms in good repair.
Review 32:Convenient as stop on road from Paris to south of France. Has reasonable restaurant for evening G meal and also provides a good buffet breakfast.
Review 33:Accessing the hotel. From GPS coordinates, entrance appears to be off dual carriage road out to authorities. It is not. You have to use the previous turning, then turn around d by stadium access via rear of furniture shop. There is a sign for the next door Saxo hotel - take next Fri e. Parking is limited and haphazard.
Review 34:Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but fine for purpose (overnight stop on long journey), and was clean. Restaurant was OK for evening meal and breakfast
Review 35:the outside appearance let the hotel down from the outside it looks rundown but its not
Review 36:very helpful staff especially the young man on the front desk.. the rooms were great `clean, new linen and comfortable beds
Review 37:It was difficult to find. The street sign was small. One of two access roads was all dug up and needed asphalt badly.
Review 38:The staff allowed us to stay late which helped as we were trying to reach someone. The bed was comfy and we liked the bathroom size and shower.
Review 39:Horrible location, took an hour to find even though it was listed on the GPS. Parking lot too small, was full, had to park at hotel next door. Bathroom too small, no place to hang hand towels. Both evening and morning reception staff lack customer service. Can hear everything going on outside room, hard to sleep.
Review 40:Nothing
Review 41:The noise from the road disturbed us with the window open. As stated we found the hotel difficult to locate.
Review 42:We found the hotel difficult to find and the sat nav took us to the wrong place. However, when there the hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful. Free wifi was an added bonus!
Review 43:Not easy to reach even though clearly visible from road - suggest checking access before arrival Noisy outside of hotel due to proximity to major road No air con
Review 44:Good value Clean Fully functional
Review 45:Air conditioning would have made the rooms even more comfortable. The noise of cars racing up and down the road kept us awake but this was outside the control of the hotel.
Review 46:The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked having an adjoining room to our children's room.
Review 47:Access from the main road was not clear, requiring us to approach Saran a second time. The address is not clear to foreign tourists. Perhaps your site could have a clear address with street name and post code as requested by early model satnav.
Review 48:Once we found the entrance to the hotel everything worked smoothly
Review 49:Bathroom not clean Shower!!!
Review 50:Location Terrible. Right on crossroad of very busy intersection. Parking for 5/6 cars only.
Review 51:Very hot day and no air conditioning or fans in room made stay less comfortable.
Review 52:Ideal location for pit stop on long road trip.
Review 53:The bed wAs comfortable ,bathroom very cleAn,great shower , staff very nice
Review 54:The staff (female duty manager)was very friendly, extremely helpful and spoke excellent English.
Review 55:The elevator was not working
Review 56:Quiet room
Review 57:Location, difficult to find especially in the dark.
Review 58:Food. Clean ,Comfortable Room What we needed at the end of a long day.
Review 59:The door into the bathroom was not thought out.
Review 60:Difficult to find and too noisy to open the window to relieve heat.
Review 61:Staff and dinner good
Review 62:Slamming doors, noisy neighbours early in the morning
Review 63:Clean, comfortable and convenient
Review 64:The location, driving from Spain My map could not locate the hotel!
Review 65:The breakfast
Review 66:Good value, days to book online
Review 67:you can not expect more for that prize: comfy bed, nice bathroom, everything was perfectly clean
Review 68:It was a good place to stay for a one-night stop on our way to the Loire Valley. Our room fit our family of five comfortably (one double bed, two singles, plus there was still room for a baby crib).
Review 69:Really good value for money. Friendly pleasant staff that went out if their way to offer a great service. Comfortable good sized family room. Paid twice as much at Ibis style for far inferior rooms
Review 70:Following on from the improvements to the rooms, the common and restaurant areas would benefit from a bit of a spruce up.
Review 71:The rooms have been thoughtfully and nicely refurbished since our last visit. Tea/coffee making facilities and a decent hairdryer are particularly welcome additions.
Review 72:First impressions from the outside do not reflect how pleasant the hotel is inside.
Review 73:Recently renovated, very comfortable rooms. Very convenient if you are travelling by car as it is right next to autoroute. Bus stop into Orleons center close. 25 minutes ride. Staff very helpful.
Review 74:Easy to find the building, very visible from nearby main roads, but difficult to find the entrance to the car park. Car park is located behind another building in front of the hotel off the main road.
Review 75:Hotel was clean, tidy, had a decent bathroom. Totally adequate for a one night stay.
Review 76:Clean, comfortable family room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well located for an overnight stop and plenty of choice for eating places within a short walking distance. Will use this hotel again.
Review 77:A little shabby on the outside but rooms are clean and in good order
Review 78:Relatively easy to find straight off the A10. Suitable for families particularly for a one night stay. Quick restaurant opposite if you more interested in convenance rather than choice.
Review 79:Traffic noise was dreadful during the night. The car park is poor and feels unsafe. The hotel communal areas were in need of new decor and a good clean.
Review 80:Family room was spacious and clean. The restaurant food was good but the service was poor.
Review 81:We chose hotel as it was between two long days of driving and advertised wi-fi and restaurant were therefore key. The restaurant was closed and, in common with other complaining guests, we were unable to get wi-fi. Toilet seat was not connected and, therefore, dangerous.
Review 82:Location
Review 83:Good breakfast with a large choice and variation of items.Did not find anything unexpected and better standard of cleaning/ attention to detail than other Hotels I have stayed at
Review 84:Just as last year, on our way to the south of France we stopped for one night in this hotel. again: clean room, good breakfast, good price and friendly staff
Review 85:The young people on the corner near the hotel. But they caused no botherand once inside the hotel you couldn't hear them.
Review 86:The room was very clean. We arrived very late and the staff were veryhelpful with organising our arrival. Staff were generous with time, information and food.
Review 87:shaby exterior and reception area glasses to make tea or coffee in - not mugs! location - behind shops poorly signposted poor parking facilities
Review 88:very friendly and helpful staff lovely bathroom tea making facilities in room
Review 89:The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was comfortable and clean - would stay there again definitely. Close to A10 and not difficult to find, we didn't have to search industrial estates!
Review 90:Better description of the hard to find entrance to the car park wouldhave made things easier.
Review 91:Convenient for stop-over for longer trip, room clean & tidy, excellentbathroom + added bonus of bbc World News. Good breakfast, althoughrestaurant was closed for evening. Lots of decent eats within 2minutes drive.
Review 92:Excellent location for our overnight stay to break up our journey tosouthern France. Family room was excellent with a double and two singlebeds. Modern and clean and restaurants very close by. Would definitelystay again.
Review 93:We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on route to Spain and found it to be more than adequate for this purpose. The service from the staff in both the hotel and restaurant was excellent. We would book it again.
Review 94:Location took two trips on toll road and two hours after arriving insaran even with sat nav it was only after second call to hotel that wewere given instructions in english never agian
Review 95:Comfortable beds
Review 96:One small delail, was ariving in rain and dark it was difficult to findthe hotel carpark entrance.
Review 97:The hotel was inviting on arrival and staff helpful. We considered theroom very good value and will definitely stop thee again on our wayacross France.
Review 98:The poor food. The buffet volonte was a poor quality for the price. Although the plat du jour was fine there was no vegetarian option on the menu except for omelette which would have been fine except that the hotel had no eggs! My wife had to have bread and cheese for her evening dinner.
Review 99:Cleanliness.
Review 100:It is an absolute sod to find. By the time you had seen the hotel, you had driven past the entrance. Twice we went round past it, once finding ourselves back on the motorway, which meant driving down to the next junction and paying. As an exercise, whilst lying on the hotel bed, I asked google maps to give me the shortest route to the hotel I was in. By foot it was 30metres, by road it was 7.1 km.
Review 101:Good parking, good friendly welcome. We enjoyed dinner & breakfast in the resturant. An excellent hotel to break our journey south to the Auvergne Region.
Review 102:Very hard to find the entrance to the car park. Could do with more signage and perhaps a route map on their website.
Review 103:For the price the food was exceptional. Highly recommend the restaurant. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Willing to go that extra hard to make your stay pleasant.
Review 104:Unprepossessing surroundings. Room was very bland: monochrome with no colour or decoration (though certainly clean and functional). Frenetic music in breakfast room.
Review 105:Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Building very well soundproofed from nearby traffic. High-standard bathroom facilities.
Review 106:Main passageway carpets had marks and need re-laying, this was the only thing that I could criticise.
Review 107:Rooms were spacious and newly re-furbished. Location was 5 mins drive from the city centre and was quiet. A much nicer place than some of the budget ones we have stayed in recently.
Review 108:Quite easy to find, but the road layout around the hotel is anightmare... After a long drive from the uk this was a frustration.Hotel needs to improve its detailed signage
Review 109:Reasonably good value for a hotel so close to Orleans. I used it as astopover on my way elsewhere. A bit characterless, but competent enough.Generous portions in the restaurant
Review 110:Easy to find and easily asseccible from motorway. Friendly and helpful staff and great for family of 5 unlike English equivalents. Brilliant relaxing breakfast and lovely that breakfast was free for children up to 12 years old.
Review 111:the room was not clean, the bathroom really tiny and terribly dirty, I did not even want to imagine what was under the bed. There was a bad smell from unclean carpet, like wet dog smell. This all was intensified because the heat, and with no airco, it was really awfull. Children could not sleep all night because of smell and heat!
Review 112:We had a quadruple room (double and two singles) and I was impressed with the value for money. This is a basic hotel but it provides all that you need for a stopover en-route to SW France. It was easy to find, our room was clean and tea-making facilities were provided; there was loads of hot water, proper towels, even a hairdryer. Breakfast was fine and I didn't have to pay for the children. I can't comment on the restaurant as it was a public holiday when we stayed to it was not open. we were directed to an area with plenty of restaurants (varying types and prices) and had a very good meal in a place that looked very basic on first inspection but provided good food at very reasonable prices. I would definitely use this hotel again.
Review 113:There is imited ventillation in the room.
Review 114:Clean hotel with good breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. Easy access to the highway and also city center is not too far away by car.
Review 115:Difficult to find, (sat nav went to wrong place over 1 mile away), butmanaged in the end with a sketch from a helpful baker. Only one verysmall comment...a small shelf in the shower would be helpful to placesoap/shower gel on.
Review 116:Good clean room, everything worked, included tea/coffee makingfacilities, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of freshfood for dinner, and good choice of help yourself breakfast buffet.Large airy dining/ breakfast room.
Review 117:Some difficulties finding a parking lot around midnight. Small room, we somehow had the impression of it being a basement room.
Review 118:Close to highway on the way to the city, which was what we were looking for, arriving late in the night.Very quiet during night.
Review 119:Need to up grade the carpark surface
Review 120:Little touches that make a difference tea and coffee bottle water inroom very welcome on arrival just lifts the norm very good breakfastbuffet did not arrive in time to have dinner but menu looked good
Review 121:Due to horrible street construction policy of the authorities making a small mistake might bring you into great trouble to find the hotel.
Review 122:Extremely kind staff - perfect service. The problem of arriving very late (after midnight) was solved in a perfect manner.
Review 123:Noisy road outside the hotel with quite a lot of traffic noise, the room was a little hot but couldn't keep the windows open at night due to the noise.
Review 124:Friendly & helpful staff, lovely clean room, everything looked new or recently upgraded and tastefully decorated. Great value for money.
Review 125:sat nav didn't find it so print of directions and map.
Review 126:Rooms are fantastic. Really good quality and very comfortable. Really pleased, excellent value for money. Good communication post booking.
Review 127:Cheap clean, spacious room. Good access to motorway and child friendly. Will use again. Staff spoke English as well. Lots of restaurants up the road.
Review 128:My only problem was that there was a torn sheet on the bed, however thiswill not prevent me using this hotel in the future
Review 129:Friendly reception, comfortable rooms, plenty of cheap restaurants inthe area on a Sunday, I used this as a stopover on the way to theFerries to return to England
