Review 1：Everything about this guest house was fantastic from arrival to departure. It is the most cleanest guest house we have ever stayed in I cant believe they were on about decorating the breakfast room it was that clean we thought they had already done it.
Review 2：Within easy walking distance of Taunton town centre, about 5 minutes. Ian and Jill were very welcoming, obliging and friendly. Lovely guest house, very clean, lovely room ( we had a very comfortable bed!) and dining room. Breakfast was really lovely too with a great selection and choice. We definitely recommend this guest house and will stay there again.
Review 3：Ian was a good host - informative and accessible, but very unobtrusive. Our room was very nice, and it was quiet despite facing out onto a reasonably busy road. It's also just a short walk into town.

The room I stayed in was perfect, a lovely comfy bed, really nice en suite bathroom, great view over the garden and, best of all, the loveliest smelling bed linen. I felt really comforted by something I could smell in the room and it turns out it's the laundry detergent they use. Great breakfast and nice, friendly staff. Excellent hotel.

Review 15：I have stayed in a lot of hotels, most of them top chain hotels, but this little guest house has to be by far the cleanest and nicest little place I have stayed in for a very long time, and the cooked breakfast is amazing. This will be the only place I will stay when I visit Taunton again.

Review 17：Very nice, clean and quiet family run B&B. It is in walking distance from Musgrove Park Academy were I was attending a course. Also close to city center and if you don't mind a 20-25 minutes walk to/from train station. Very good English breakfast and also diner. Good speed wi-fi which is free. As a conclusion I really enjoyed staying here.

Review 22：I always find my room rather warm, but the windows all open wide, and I invariably sleep very well indeed.
Review 23：There is a pleasant sense of being welcomed into a family home, without it ever intruding into too much chat or preventing one from being completely independent. The rooms are attractive and scrupulously clean, the breakfast excellent, the service efficient, and the whole place is friendly but without clutter: everything is fresh and pleasant. Each room has a tray with tea and hot chocolate etc. The wifi works perfectly and immediately: something absolutely crucial for me as I need to be in touch with my work, and answer emails promptly. It is an ideal place for an overnight stay, but people also evidently find it a good place for a holiday, as it is right in the centre of Taunton, and well placed for travel to Exmoor and all the enchanting villages...at breakfast one hears conversations in various languages, visitors all evidently relaxed and enjoying their stay. I like the fact that in addition to everything else, fresh towels and soap and shampoo and a TV and so on, there is a Bible in a drawer... a friendly touch that gives a family feel to the house.
Review 24：My room was rather warm, but I opened the window wide and turned off the heating , and all was well. In too many hotels you can't open the window and the room is like an oven: Brookfield is different.
Review 25：I love staying at Brookfield House. It is super-clean, bright and friendly. I like the fact that there is a Gideon's Bible in each room, giving a feeling of welcome. I love the efficient wifi. I love the friendly welcome and the excellent breakfasts.
Review 26：The gentleman who owns the premises was lovely and very helpful. The facilities were incredibly clean, and they provided all the little extras you needed for a night or two's stay. One of the best value placed I could find in the area. The décor of the place was very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast they provided was comprehensive, delicious and filling. They really tried to foresee everything that you could want. I highly recommend Brookfield House to anyone exploring Taunton or even driving through for the evening.

Brookfield House was very helpful in giving us parking space both before and after our official times of stay because we were going to and fro from the town centre to attend concerts

Review 31：It was the smallest "large bed room" we have stayed in. The en-suite was tiny - only 800mm wide by 2.5m long. No lounge so could only sit in the bedroom. Very warm room so had to open the window at night - lots of road noise at night made sleep difficult.
