The room was very modern, clean and tastefully decorated, felt like I was at home. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations for restaurants, tours, nearby beaches and spas.

Review 13：Chania has a lot of one-way direction streets. Difficult to park close by the hotel but even then the staff is ready to come with you and carry your bags! so no worries!!!!

The manager took very good care of her guests: arrangement for airport taxi, welcome drinks, suggestions for excursions and restaurants, car rental arrangement within 1 hour, towels for the beach... She did it with a smile and a lot of discretion, without being pushy.

Even though right in town very quiet for sleeping with soundproofing. The owner and staff were fantastic, extremely helpful with everything needed.

Review 19：Fatma Hanoum is in the old town of Xania, near the old Synagogue. The furnishings and architecture are superb, and the staff are outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, wholesome and elegantly served. The location is perfect for walking in the old streets, to the port and also to the bus station, market and other facilities.

It was a perfect stay for my husband and me and our 10 month old baby. They had a cot for the baby and in the restaurant, they set up a place at the table for her with plastic setting and a high chair. The details made the trip!

The hotel itself is lovely: perfect size (only 6 or 7 rooms), perfect location, great breakfast, great facilities, quite yet in the middle of the old town. We stayed in room Deniz, which is the smallest one with a balcony overlooking the alleyway. We felt the room was well equipped and well suited for a couple and really quiet when all windows were closed (we could hear people walking by, chatting etc when the windows were open, but that didn't bother us at all). The balcony is a charming addition and we enjoyed having our morning coffe there. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Review 30：The location, room quality and service were top notch. I have stayed in the VIP section of the best hotels in the world and am used to quality. It is as good a boutique hotel as you will find. Marianna, the General Manager, is there from when you wake until the evening. The breakfast is very good, providing a range of foods. Any question or need we had regarding food, transport, excursions, gyms to visit, etc. were addressed with a smile. Marianna makes you feel like you're visiting family members who are happy to host you!

Maybe some people are used to it, but I find it disturbing, since you can only enter in the hotel using your card, so there is not easy access for outsiders. It is equaly distrurbing if the owners do it to watch the staff... The lights turn automatically off at 12 p.m. sharp. We were already packed and ready to go, but I think there should have been a warning... It's like you've been told "you're no longer our guest, go away!"

Review 103：There are 2 aspects that may be improved: 1. The distance from the parking to the hotel and difficulty in carrying all luggage. I consider that the hotel should give more support in this matter. I still appreciate the initiative of negotiating a 40% discount with the private parking, only 6 Euro / day. 2. During the night there are some weird noises from the water / cooling systems that can really ruin a good sleep.
