Reviews for Nockhof

Review 1:Great location above Innsbruck, just a 10 minutes drive. Delicious breakfast with freshly baked cakes. The owner Brigitte was very helpful and good to talk to. Wonderful location to relax.

Review 2:Nothing

Review 3:Location is fantastic, up in the mountains and peaceful but not far to the nearest town. Our room had a little kitchenette so we just grabbed food from the local supermarket and stayed in. My wife is allergic to eggs and the owner baked fresh bread and also cakes that were egg free.

Review 4:The road upto this charming hotel is a little on the frisky side! But well worth it.

Review 5:The views....... wow. Very friendly and welcoming owners who really made our stay special. Breakfast was amazing.

Review 6:The gravel road up the mountain can be a little scary

Review 7:Loved the view, very comfortable bedding, the balcony, the farm, the breakfast, the friendly staff; it was unforgettable.

Review 8:La ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar de un paisaje maravilloso y realizar actividades con los ninos. La casa es acogedora y es el sitio ideal para los niños. Volveremos.

Review 9:The owners/staff were very friendly, kind and accomodating. There was plenty of play equipment and quality toys for the little ones to play with, the room was extremely comfortable. There were also many animals we could get up close to but the highlight was the delicious and extensive breakfast. A fantastic place to stay.

Review 10:GPS will probably get you there. The house is in the country and you're not going to get there without a car.

Review 11:A comfortable stay with a lovely hostess. The room overlooks the city of Innsbruck in the country. A wonderful setting, great breakfast and nice room.

Review 12:I did not like not being able to stay at this awesome place for the duration of our vacation. The owner, the owner's family, were so warm and caring. We loved the place, nothing not to like.

Review 13:The view of Innsbruck and the mountains, breathtaking.

Review 14:Recommend renting 4 wheel drive vehicle as last 2km to reach the Gasthof is up a fairly steep dirt road.

Review 15:The location set half way up a ski mountain overlooking Innsbruck. Fantastic breakfast served by friendly and accommodating hostess.

Review 16:We all loved our stay and we did not mind the toilet being outside the apartment. However, I would not have liked it at all if we had to share that toilet with strangers. It should be made clear in the the advertisement.

Review 17:First of all I must say that we could not feel more welcome by our hostess, Brigitte, and her family. We stayed for 5 nights and we felt more like we were staying at a friend's house rather than a hotel. It was very pleasant and also very private too. The breakfast is abundant, fresh and absolutely delicious with a huge array of foods to choose from. The bottle of wine and easter eggs in the room were a very lovey gesture. The beds were fantastically comfortable and the rooms, showers and kitchen were fully equipped. Nothing was too difficult for Brigitte and her family if we needed anything at all. The views are magnificent and there any many hiking trails for nature lovers or fitness enthusiasts. I would happily recommend Nockhof Farm to any family looking for a place that holds something for everyone.

Review 18:We enjoyed our stay, The guest house was a delight. The view: breathtaking. Don't hesitate to 'climb this mountain'!! Also, don't let the road keep you from this amazing experience.

Review 19:Genuine and warm customer service...even fresh milk straight from the vat, when requested! Spectacular views..with real wow factor with eagle nest views over Innsbruk. Appartment was comfortably, tastefully furnished. all necessay mod cons...i.e. filter coffee and expresso maker...plus fully equipped kitchen. Nockhof Is a working farm..just adds to the interest and down to earth feel of the place. I cant think of a better place to stay...in any location!

Review 20:The only real complaint, and it is a relatively minor one, is the internet access is on-again-off-again. Couldn't get it to work at all on the morning of our departure to check on the next day's activities and weather. The bed pillows are far too soft, flattening down to nearly nothing, but a sofa pillow placed under the bed pillow solved that.

Review 21:It is a working farm doubling as a B&B. Makes for a very pleasant stay, but you have to like the sound of cowbells (they do go in the barn for the night). The views from the room are magnificent, overlooking Innsbruck far down below surrounded by mountains. Breakfast was outstanding with way more than enough to choose from, including custom cooked eggs and fruit with farm home-made yogurt.

Review 22:We used this as a quick stop on the way home and my daughter and I wished we'd stayed longer. The location is amazing and we were made very welcome. The rooms are large, comfy and very relaxing especially with the balcony. Breakfast was excellent and the farm an extra treat. Thank you Bridgette for a fabulous stay - we'll definitely be there longer next time.

Review 23:Location is beautiful in middle of nature and the view is breath taking, do not miss the sunrise....!!! Cathy the owner will take good care of ur stay and her self prepared breakfast is delicious.

Review 25:Everything I will visit next time for more than week I like the place very much

Review 26:Great location with beautiful views of the valley

Review 27:amazing views, lovely hospitality, fantastic location.

Review 28:Having to leave. Toilet only was outside the room but was dedicated to us completely.

Review 29:Beautiful location with an amazing view of Innsbruck. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Review 33:Best breakfast ever

Review 34:The owner is too kind and helpful. The location anis great. I hope I could stay longer to enjoy. Thannks again

Review 35:View is spectacular. Owner is charming. Best value for money we've had in Austria.

Review 36:Very kind owners

Review 37:My son and I recently spent two excellent nights here. Highly recommended!

Review 38:Its not that I didn't like it, but we thought we were lost driving up the mountain on a very narrow road, we thought the gps had us going wrong

Review 39:The cows on the hills with the bells around their necks. The view, the hostess was so pleasant and a great cook. It was fantastic waking up to the sun shine and flowers and breathtaking view.

Review 40:This is more of a caution to fellow classic car tourers than a dislike . The road up to the farm is moderately steep and unpaved. If taken slowly this is not an issue .

Review 41:The accommodation was superb (room 1), the balcony looked out over the whole valley. The room was immaculately clean, breakfast superb and comprehensive. You have the choice of yoghurt and butter made from milk from the farm or commercially available products. The scrambled egg from the farms "lucky" hens was superb. The hostess was charming and highly proficient.

Review 42:The road getting to the B&B is steep and graded dirt.

Review 43:This is an outstanding B&B with a fabulous host. Her mother and grandmother were the original owners so Bridget the co-owner truly knows how to make one's stay a memorable one. And you can't beat the terrace view that makes you feel on top of the world.

Review 44:Location is not good. A little bit far from city center. It's hard to find.

Review 45:It's almost on the top of the mountain. good view. good breakfast, rooms are big..

Review 46:Location, view, setting, modern clean room with good ensuite, very helpful friendly hostess. Highly recommended. Great breakfast including some of her own produce - just fabulous. Very helpful sightseeing tips too.

Review 47:excellent place on top of the hill with awesome panoramic view .we felt engrossed with nature.Just perfect location. We got to see both sunny day followed by snowy day.... Sudarshana/Pavana Bangalore

Review 48:There was nothing to dislike about Nockhof.

Review 49:This place was a little piece of paradise. The views were spectacular, the accommodation was flawless, the breakfast was fantastic and our hostess was extremely helpfull. Great walking tracks around the area. Love to come back.

Review 50:The toilets are outside the room, and they should have written it in advance

Review 51:The view is unbelievable The host is very nice and helpful The room is warm, clean and comfortable, and the kids had lots of things to do We enjoyed staying there very much

Review 52:Magnificent views from high in the hills overlooking Innsbruck. Very tranquil rural setting. Getting there a little challenging as quite remote and up a long country road without many signposts. Bridget the host is very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent.

Review 53:Road to accomodation a little challenging if you are not famiar with it. Had over a metre of snow overnight when we were there which was unexpected for October so had both good and bad points. Bad points meant the road was too slippery to go anywhere initially and if you don't like driving in ice then ot go there on summer

Review 54:Outstanding and amazing views. Snow was an unexpected delight!

Review 55:Fantastic veiw all around. Innsbruck which you can see from the balcony, quite, excelent breakfasts full of home made products, incredible hospitality.

Review 56:This place is quite hard to find. The name of the town is Nockhof but the actual place is called 'Zimmer am Bauernhof' so in other words look for this sign. Keep driving up the hill for about 10 minutes past the town Mutters..and I mean keep driving until u see the hotel on the left. If you get to the top you have gone too far!!

Review 57:The view is spectacular, amazing panoramic photo opportunities looking out towards the Alps. The breakfast is beyond good. It includes home made bread, jam, cheese...everything and more. The house owner is such a nice person, she makes you feel right at home. A great place to stay if you want somewhere remote, relaxing and re energising.

Review 58:Little hard to find, but we got there eventually and it was worth the journey!

Review 59:Beautiful views, tranquil, a lovely escape from the city with comfy rooms and a hearty breakfast.

Review 60:The whole of the stay was wonderful, it had excellent staff, excellent service, a friendly staff, and a spectacular location & views you could never tier of & a friendly dog.

Review 61:Toilet are outsid the appratmemt !!! And they will give you a key for it!!!! ( first time see such thing )Wireless Internet doesn't reach us in the appartment and each time have to go outside to check the net . Old Furniture . Dog and cat are in the house which are not comfortable for us . It might be ok for single person but for sure it's not convenient for Arab families .

Review 62:Staff are very good and very friendly , and try to satisfy us all thetime , very good view in the garden , there are some games for kids inthe garden , very peaceful place .

Review 63:there was nothing that we didn't like. the hotel is out of mutters, which is out of innsbruck, so this is a place just for the people looking for only nature.

Review 64:everything was wonderful, we liked all staff, hotel, and the area very much. the apartment is just in a real farm, with all facilities and animals, etc. also it's 1200 mt high, with a wonderful weather. the owners of the farm are very helpful. this was like heaven, and an unforgettable holiday for us..

Review 65:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The wiev from our room and the hotel was amazing. The room was newly decorated and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 66:The only thing is it is a fair distance out and we were there on a Monday and the restaurants were closed so difficult to get food luckily we got some snacks before we arrived.

Review 67:The views of the surrounding area was fabulous their dog is happy to go for a walk with you The owner was very helpful and made the best breakfast in the morning

Review 68:Great location near the ski slope, with a great view on Innsbruck. Thestaff is very nice, the person in charge gaved us a very warm welcomeand picked us from the village as we had difficulties finding the road.Very good breakfast.

Review 69:Toilets outside of the room and unfriendly shepherd dog

Review 70:Everything was awesome

Review 71:We loved staying here! The guesthouse sits high on the side of the mountain and the view is spectacular. We would definitely stay here again!

Review 72:Wi-fi did not reach our room.
