Review 1：It was the only hotel we booked through booking.com that wanted us to pay after our stay (all the other hotels charged to booking.com), their credit card machine didn't work so we were stuck for 25 minutes at the lobby trying to pay for the room we already paid for for (or were under the impression that we did). We did not account this extra time in our planning and almost missed our flight due to this. In addition their credit card machine didn't work so I had to go to the bank to get money out of the machine, of course it was the day that all the locals went to the bank to get their social funds. Quite a stressful checkout experience. The room itself was alright, AC worked so so and bathroom was quite dirty. The first room we got the AC was broken, they sent someone to our room that was just banging on the AC to make it work (of course it didn't). They gave us another room however, but the bathroom was really terrible.
Review 2：staff really helpful- they don't usually provide beach towels but as we had forgotten to pack they kindly allowed us to use the hotel towels - very clean and the air conditioning wonderful. about 5-10 min walk from the harbour. They haver a car park under the hotel which makes life really easy when you have hired a car as parking is very difficult in the city.
Review 3：We spend 5 days at ellinis hotel. The staff is friendly and very very helpfull especialy the lady at the reception. The hotel is clean and only 10 mins walking distance from the old harbour. For only 5 extra euros you can have a great breakfast. The wifi is free with a great speed. Ellinis hotel should be ur choice for an unforgetable holiday at chania.
Review 4：Tiny room. Single-size sheet on double bed. A bit noisy at night from both inside hotel and outside (peacock in park opposite!). A bit impersonal and not much English spoken.
Review 5：Great location if you want to wander around Chania and its bustling streets. The underground parking is a big plus.
Review 6：It's worth it to stay in the superior rooms, very comfy beds and spa shower. Bath rooms are small but adequate and the shower makes up for it. We organised a very late check out to catch an evening flight for a very reasonable additional cost. Walking distance to everything and lovely park opposite. Free underground parking a massive bonus. We found noise levels to be okay but we weren't staying at peak tourist season.

Review 9：If you are worried of the noise coming from the main street, I used earplugs and that was more than fine! Overall,based on my experience it seems to me that negative comments by other reviewers are clearly based on their negativity.
Review 10：This was an excellent choice of a hotel. Right in the city centre, close to the old port and bus station. The room was well presented. I really enjoyed my stay there and I would strongly recommend it if one would like to be in Chania as a base for the exploration of the island. Unlike an other reviewer I had no issue to pay by card. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Ellinis hotel and the rooms look in reality as good as they do on the photos.

Review 29：The wifi didn't reach our room. Wasn't a huge deal because we just went down to the lobby and used it there. Most restaurants have wifi too so we were connected majority of the trip anyway.

Everything was very clean and was very modern. It was walking distance to the harbor and there were nice shops and cafés right outside.
