Review 4:Nice big (king) room, lovely view over the valley

Review 5:One small point: it wad difficult to regulate the temperature of the shower.

Review 6:We received a very friendly welcome, were given a lovely room with a wonderful view and had a great overall experience.

Review 7:The service off Kirstie and Graham when we arrived was amazing, we were made to feel so welcome from the second we arrived, nothing was any bother to them at all. Breakfast was superb and perfect. Home made cake/cookies for guests was amazing, such a lovely touch

Review 8:We could only stay two nights.!!

Review 9:The reception was amazing, they had taken the bother to learn our first name & greeted us whenever we appeared in the dining room. They had thought of absolutely everything to make our visit memorable.

Review 12:The cleanliness of our room and the facilities that were provided re use of fridge and lounge area .

Review 13:Friendliness of staff, called me by my name at breakfast to see if I wanted tea or coffee! View from room was amazing! Toiletries in fab bathroom were good quality. Thoughtful additions eg items to wash cups etc if needed, small kitchen area in lounge for extra tea/coffee facilities.

Review 14:Nothing. Wasn't sure about the communal seating for breakfast but it turned out to be good to chat with other guests.

Review 15:Good location, quiet but easy walk into the town with plenty of eating places. Excellent breakfast with lots of healthy options. Fresh milk available at all times.

Review 16:Henry and staff could not do enough for you , I am a coeliac and they went out of there way to make sure there where treats for me to eat. immaculate house but comfortable and welcoming

Review 17:Shower cubicle was a little on the small side.

Review 18:The owners were lovely and very friendly. Lovely cakes in the hallway, milk on request for our little girl. Lots of fresh fruit for breakfast which my husband and daughter really enjoyed, great food.

Review 19:Ideally situated in the market town of Leyburn. Friendly welcome, lovely clean room. Great range of local produce fir the delicious Full Yorkshire breakfast.

Review 20:The location was very good, it was only a short walk to all the amenities of Leyburn. The room was very clean The breakfast was excellent with all fresh locally sourced products.

Review 21:The fact that we were only there for one night!!!

Review 22:lovely warm welcome, nothing too much trouble. loved the fact that our names were remembered and used. our room was beautiful, thought the jars of sweets one the dresser in the hall was a wonderful touch. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were like eating clouds.

Review 23:Car parking spaces are a squeeze to get into, but sufficient spaces for all guests.

Review 24:Staff lovely and welcoming, room very clean and tidy (spotless), with fresh milk in the fridge position, is excellent very close to all facilities.

Review 25:Excellent guest house, centrally located, little extra touches made it special, loved the home made cake, jams etc, breakfast was a treat. Rooms very comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. Very central for the market square, pubs and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable, from helping secure discounts to attractions and restaurant reservations, walks etc. Well done for what I would imagine can be a thankless task at times.

Review 26:thought the price could be a little lower but given the hard work that the hosts Kirstie and Graham put it, its forgivable

Review 27:lovely place, very convenient for the square, superb hosts, great facilities and more. a home from home.

Review 28:poor wifi signal but why should you need it in such a lovely place!

Review 29:Fantastic service. Was offered tea and cake upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect and right next door to the village, pubs, shops, restaurants. Big rooms yet cosy with fire place.

Review 30:The owners were very welcoming. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Breakfast was great. It was good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the lounge along with a fridge for general use. We had a great stay.

Review 31:I'm really fussy when it comes to bedsheets and they just didn't have a 'nice' smell! Don't get me wrong they were clean but they smelled like bedsheets abroad. But this is my only complaint. Would have been happier if it was slightly cheaper too.

Review 32:The breakfast was delicious and the staff were really helpful. The location was good too being only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Leyburn.

Review 33:The booking.com booking wasn't known to the owners which led to some difficulties. Fortunately a room was available anyway and the staff were very helpful.

Review 34:No issues

Review 35:Very friendly and accommodating owners. Met us before 12.00 and showed us to our rooms. Which great and so early. Lovely touches in rooms and sweets and lovely cakes availble downstairs. A great and comfortable lounge with a little kitchen and wine glasses available. Great idea!

Review 36:Nothing to dislike this bed and breakfast is wonderful.

Review 37:The staff, the atmosphere, the welcome, the facilities, the décor, the comfort, the amazing food. The location, the lovely bed. The cleanliness.

Review 38:Poor wi-fi. Unable to access in bedroom. The bedding consisted of one rather thick quilt which unfortunately meant that we were either over warm or cold if it was taken off.

Review 39:Very helpful and friendly staff. Spent some time with us talking through local walks and even photo copied us a map for us to take. Excellent breakfast and home made brownies to accompany an afternoon cuppa. Room well appointed and v. clean. Would not hesitate

Review 40:greeted at the door by one of the owners who offered to help with our bags. Not needed as we are both able but little touches like that really distinguish this hotel from other bed and breakfasts. The owners bake their own cookies and brownies which guests are encouraged to take at no extra cost, extra milk, tea coffee etc is avialable in the lounge without the need to ask, great breakfasts served as part of the stay. you really want for nothing in this hotel. The room was massive, clean, comfy, warm. The wifi signal was a little weak but who cares, you dont come to places like this to sit indoors on the internet. Location was perfect, 2 minute walk from Leyburn centre with stunnng views over North Yorkshire. Short drives to Middleham, Massham, Grassington and forbidden corner. Ample parking even if you have a big car. Really cannot find any faults, it was excellent and will be staying again

Review 41:Can't really fault anything, well done, keep up the excellent standard.

Review 42:Good location for getting around area. Pleasant friendly staff. Ideal for shops and restaurants. Walker and cyclist friendly,a good base for all.

Review 43:We thought that this was one of the best guest houses we have stayed at. We loved the little touches such as the sweets available in jars in the entrance hall and the maps and books for use in a room of their own. There was even a chalkboard with a detailed weather forecast on it! The rooms were clean and decorated in modern style. The breakfast was delicious! We would love to come again.

Review 44:The hosts just went the extra mile: sweets in the entrance hall, pieces of cake waiting for the guests in the afternoon and a lounge with a large selection of DVDs and games as well as a fridge and additional coffee making facilities.

Review 45:parking is a little tight, and backing out on to the busy road can be tricky.

Review 46:warm welcome, immaculate room, good facilities with plenty of tea and coffee, free cake and sweets, guest lounge was very comfortable, breakfast generous and well presented

Review 47:Nothing to dislike about this place.

Review 48:Location, food, hospitality and room all first class. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Review 49:The fact that it had the personal touch. Staff were friendly, it was homely with lovely gestures for the children (chocs left on the made beds, games and dvd's to borrow, sweets and home made cakes available to help yourself to) informative about the local area and attractions and nothing was too much trouble. Very enjoyable stay which I wud strongly recommend to family and friends.

Review 50:Beautiful view over the dales from our room. Spotlessly clean, warm and beautifully decorated room. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the home made cake was delicious. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Review 51:Thought the sausage was a little below parr but otherwise nothing

Review 52:Stayed in Rm3 at front facing road and was not aware of any traffic noise( I am a very light sleeper). There was some noise in the bathroom from the adjoining bathroom but not at times to cause a problem. Lovely breakfast ..... especially the fruit salad and the free cake and sweets in the hall are a nice touch. Would recommend

Review 53:Room was a little too hot and couldn't work out how to open the window - only very minor complaint.

Review 54:Beautiful room in a beautiful house. Everything spotless and the staff were very friendly - even had freshly made cake offered on arrival. Facilities were excellent - tonnes of local information (walks maps & day trips) available to peruse at your leisure, cupboard full of games and DVDs. Good, hearty breakfast that kept us going til teatime.

Review 55:The cake and sweets upon arrival The friendly couple who ran it More than enough amenities Relaxing atmosphere Well run and well catered for Great breakfast cooked to perfection Room was superb Would definitely go back and recommend

Review 56:We both agreed that it was one of the most pleasant stopovers that we have had. We were there for one night only but were convinced that had it been longer we would have enjoyed it. Close to the town , private parking was easily accessible, the interior, the room and dining room had a great atmosphere and the variety of choice at breakfast was first class.

Review 57:Nothing not to like except could not get tv to work.... but who needs tv ?

Review 58:Welcome from the staff Comfortable lounge Well equipped room Excellent breakfast Extra touches such as facility to make drinks in the lounge and selection of 'sweeties', books & magazines plus 'map & guide room'

Review 59:Nothing!

Review 60:Vic and Theresa have clearly put a lot of effort in to offer guests the best stay possible. The fresh cake and jars of sweets on arrival are a lovely detail that make you feel special. The room we stayed in (double with sofa) was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very nice. And the amount of local information supplied is beyond helpful. I can not fault a thing, it is refreshing to find somewhere that go that extra mile for you. I hope we make it here again soon.

Review 68:Very nice and clean B&B. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice large room. Free wireless internet. Free parking by the front door. Fantastic breakfast.

Review 69:Stand in hosts Sy and Ash were outstanding in every respect...humorous, warm, extremely knowledgeable and generous of time. Nothing too much trouble and a fabulous breakfast with lovely extras too that make all the difference (compulsory home made cake and sweeties on offer). Not cheap but area dictates that. Thoroughly recommend and I wish Ash and Sy all the best in their forthcoming new venture. Their departure very much Eastfield Lodge's loss. A lovely stay, thank you.
