Reviews for Nefeli Hotel
Review 1:Parking can be a problem. First three days got lucky and found a place to park close to, or in front of the hotel. Last night had to park in a garage. Costs 15 euros a day.
Review 2:Nice, traditional hotel, just on the outskirts of the Old Town. Less than a 10 minute walk to the port. Very clean.Breakfast buffet was good, not too much, but sufficient and worth the money.
Review 3:The first impression was bad when I saw the old-fashioned carpet floor.
Review 4:At second impression I djsco ered many things. I was surprised there was a huge roof terrace overlooking Chania. There was tea making facility and the air conditioning was working well.
Review 5:Pillows - the main ones were too hard, i found other two softer in the closet luckily! The bathrooms door lock system is complicated - be careful to get locked yourself inside! It has like a double lock. They should not ask to keep passports longer than a day. Passports are like gold, especially if you are a foreigner!
Review 6:The location - pretty close to the main station and downtown. Breakfast - very delicious. Very good cleaning.
Review 7:We asked for double bed but got 2 single beds instead and still had to pay the same money.
Review 8:It was clean, 5 minute walk to the Venetian port and staff was very friendly.
L'albergo in sé. La colazione. La vicinanza alla stazione dei bus
Review 11:The staff, receptionist and maids were smiling made you feel like home. They were very helpful. The location of the hotel also is very good just two minutes walking from the bus station
Review 12:Nice location...we rent a car so the location was perfect to avoid the treffic...we stayed at the 6th floor so we had a big balcony with nice view of the town! The breakfast was ok.big variety! Good price!
Review 13:Nothing I can think of
Review 14:The big balcony, room and bathroom. Friendly staffs. Just beside the bus station, and only 5mins walk to the bus stop for Souda Port
Review 15:we absolutely loooooved the breakfast! huge variety of locally produced and fresh products! they even served freshly squeezed orange juice! we were very impressed by the options we were offered and it really made our entire day! Απιστευτο μπουφες πρωινού με πολύ μεγάλη ποικιλία φρεσκων προιόντων!
Review 16:Sometimes, late at night, you could hear noise from motorcycles.
Review 17:Excellent location, city center. Best for those who wish to go for walks, shopping etc. Also not too far from beaches. 50 meters from the bus stations which could take you to any place in the city or the island.
Review 18:No real negatives.
Review 19:Great location for old town and local transport. Clean and tidy and comfortable with one of the nicest breakfast selections I've come across.
Review 20:Chania is very expensive and with only one big super market. One day was enough for us to visit Chania.
Review 21:The hotel is nice and it is near to all that is worth to see in Chania. The hotel has a very crazy elevator system :=) The breakfast is OK: Not too bad not so good. The hotel lies only one step from the bus station
Review 22:The aircons seemed weak for the peak of summer. Would shower only to sweat instantly when I went to the room. Electricity goes off completely when you leave the room causing it to heat up a lot when you are away.
Review 23:The location was great. Service was friendly and rooms were clean.
Review 24:a little bit poor breakfast
Review 25:The location of the hotel is excellent near at the main bus station. From this station you can take a bus to go everywhere you want...also to and from the airport of Chania.
Review 26:Room quite small; they tried to make us pay for some minibar refreshments that we never took.
Review 27:Perfectly located, close to the old city and just next to the bus station. Clean rooms and good breakfast.
Review 28:Very good location: 5-7 minutes walk to the harbour, 1 minute walk to the central bus station, 3 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, but there are small shops with fruits, vegetables and bread around the hotel. The hotel is very easy to find, as it is located on one of the main streets and is well-visible. The room is quite spacious, with a big bed. Excellent Wi-Fi. The room offers a balcony with two chairs around a small table. The balcony has a two-level system of sound-proofing, which nearly blocks all sounds and light from the street (but overall, the area is quite quiet). But if neighbours are too loud, especially in the corridor, they will be heard quite well. Breakfast is quite broad: Greek yoghurt, ham, cheese, milk, watermelon, melon, croissants and bread, musli, honey, nuts, eggs and sausages, juices, tea and coffee. Shampoos, soap and towels are changed every day. Staff is very friendly, ready to help, give a free map.
Review 29:We were a gang of three friends and we were given a two-bed room with an extra bed in the middle. Too narrow to accomodate three adults in such a room.
Review 30:Great location, close to bus station, old city and city facilities. Friendly and helpful staff as well.
Review 31:friendly staff
Review 32:Noise of the street
Review 33:Excellent centrally located, yet quiet hotel with a very wide selection for breakfast.

Review 68:Location
Review 69:Air conditioning
Review 70:Poor water-pressure in the shower, carpet on the floor in our room
Review 71:Perfect location near bus-station and old-town. Big balcony in 6th floor.
Review 72:View on mountains from the 5th floor
Review 73:The location was good for making day trips as the hotel is next to the bus station.
Review 74:Not able to print my boardingpass myself
Review 75:Right at the bus station and the centre Clean Friendly
Review 76:Location, location, location
Review 77:This hotel provides immaculate, comfortable accommodation at very reasonable prices. The food is good and ample. We have stayed here several times and one thing we notice is that we see the same members of staff each time, which we consider to be a very good sign.
Review 78:Slightly noisier than expected. Cars and lorries would park outside then other motorist would sound their horns to summon the erring drivers to return to their vehicles.
Review 79:The hotel was well situated. Fifteen minutes walk from the Venetian Port and about 2 minutes from the main port. Very nice Greek restaurant straight opposite the hotel
Review 80:Really close (a minute walk) to the main bus station. You can walk to the harbor and around the old town in a few minutes, really friendly staff, unbelievably huge balcony on the room 602. Many thanks!
Review 81:Wouldn't accept my visa because it's a magnetic stripe and signature card (no pin), but I understand this is often the case in Europe, so I had to pay in cash. Be aware! Couldn't printout boarding pass at hotel because office was locked. No tea or coffee making facilities Got noisy 0100 hrs-0200 hrs Small bathroom
Review 82:Close to the bus station Easy to find Front desk staff were friendly enough Clean room Good bed Close to town
Review 83:Two minor points to overcome easily. The bathroom is a bit small. Unfortunately the juice served at breakfast was not fresh.
Review 84:Location is perfect, very close to bus station and near the old town. Not inside the old town, so it's probably quieter at night. (No returning/passing bar visitors) The staff was very helpfull, they immedeately cleaned the room after our arrival at 9 am so we could get into our room at 9.30. The shower was good, although the bathroom is small. Everything is clean and comfortable. Although we didn't use it, we looked at the prices of the minibar. It's very cheap compared to what other hotels dare ask. Breakfast was ok. Enough to choose from, very good fresh bread, good yoghurt, so so honey and lots of other choices. The small 2 person room is quite ok for a 1 night stay. For longer stays I would prefer a bigger room. Overall you get good value for money.
Review 85:The shower felt really cramming.
Review 86:The beds matresses were very good and the room was clean. The hotel location was perfect, 5 min walk to the old port but far enough to be quiet.
Review 87:is located on the main street - can get a bit noisy, not a big problem though parking is not available at the hotel - rather unpractical. If one is lucky, a place can be found in the nearby streets, or paid parking.
Review 88:we stayed for two nights there, in an attempt to enjoy chania. The place is nice, clean, breakfast was not too bad. all in all , good value for money
Review 89:Don't book here if you are expecting a beach holiday; this is much better suited to transportation hub. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
Review 90:Great value for money, staff were exellent, friendly and helpful. Very convenient to bus station, especially when pulling luggage. Only 5 min walk to old town/port. Breakfast was decent.
Review 91:As in many hotels in Greece you have to wear ear plugs if you don't want to hear street noise.
Review 92:Rooms are nice. Breakfast is quite alright. Hotel very close to the busstation, that's why we choose it. Staff very uncomplicated and helpful.
Review 93:Bathroom just a bit cramped.
Review 94:The Nefeli hotel is clean and was roomy for a two person stay. Veryconvenient location if you plan on using bus travel around Crete, 50maway. My friend left his cable at the hotel and we contacted them ifit was there. They found the cable and mailed it to his address forfree. Awesome.
Review 95:Zavtrak bil v obshem-to standartnim - jogurt, buterbrodi, frukti, holodnii omlet s sosiskami - no nakrito bilo otsen ne appetitno:< Internet ne vsegda rabotal.
Review 96:U nas bil velikolepnii nomer na poslednem etaze s ogroooomnim balkonom, s kotorogo bolo vidno pol goroda =))))) !!!!!! Posle viezda razreshili ostavit veshi v otele na pol dnja) Nahoditsja sovsem blizko ot avtovokzala)
Review 97:The shower was very tiny and the room small, but for a short stay, perfectly adequate.
Review 98:I stayed at the hotel on a recommendation and because I was passing through. The price was right! The facilities were good enough that I decided to stay there again on my way back and spend a day exploring the city.
Review 99:Even though they save they have a free parking are, there is no designated free parking area for the hotel. If you are lucky enough, you might find a lot on the street around hotel. otherwise you will have to pay a bit high to private parking.
Review 100:The hotel was located in the city center which is good. Breakfast is fairly good in the hotel. My room was clean and the staff was cleaning the room everyday. All hotel personnel speaks English well and they are very helpfull. In my room there was a mini bar with kinds of beverages, all cheap. In short, Hotel Nefeli is good price and good service..
