Reviews for The Packhorse Inn

Review 1:All the staff members could not be more helpful and were very courteous. The food was excellent but because it was so good, I could of done with a little more on the plate!!

Review 2:Extra charges for a cot werent transparent in our booking , Lacking value for money given the high cost of the room relative to the style of the room

Review 3:Friendly staff , Good food and very decent wine menu

Review 4:No O2 or Vodafone phone signal or WiFi reachable from bedroom (and no wired telephone in the room). No table available for dinner Sat evening despite staying at the facility. This ruined the weekend having been told on the phone and by one bar staff member that residents are always accommodated. Parking also a bit of a challenge during the evening when Resturant and bar are in full swing.

Review 5:Very friendly staff. Great food. Comfortable clean bedroom.

Review 6:Having to leave

Review 7:Stunning rooms and accommodation Excellent service - very friendly, professional and welcoming staff Amazing food Have already booked to go again!

Review 8:Bed very hard and we did not sleep well at all Food too fussy even when i asked for plain boiled potatoes they came with herbs In fact there were herbs every where even on my tomatoes at breakfast

Review 9:location and friendly staff

Review 10:Too bad no minibar or room service as the staff wasn't avalible between 11 pm and 7 am. Price was quite high in that respect. 195 GBP per night.

Review 11:Friendly rural feeling. Excellent food.

Review 12:Not a bad experience but is ANY B&B worth £195 per night. I booked rather late so had little option. Why was there no heating of either the room or the towel rails?

Review 13:Location - but I cycled as a child round here so know the area well.

Review 14:Upon arrival we found out room to be of superior quality. With us bringing our pet dog we didn't expect it to be of such high quality. The only negative comment I have is that even though it is in a quiet village location there is still a small amount of vehicle noise that is quite noticeable due to the original sash windows. This said it most certainly didn't spoil our stay and we will be making a return visit. In the future.

Review 15:Really friendly welcome, a small hotel but room was beautifully appointed with a lovely view. Fabulous large bathroom. Restaurant was so good, with really friendly and professional staff.

Review 16:Nothing.

Review 17:The staff are remarkable with pets! My little King Charles could eat at the table with us, and everyone made such a fuss. Wonderful place. Thank you.
