Holbrook Bed and Breakfast is a 10-minute walk from the historic town of Shaftesbury in Dorset. This guest house has comfortably furnished rooms with en suite facilities, and free Wi-Fi.
All rooms at the Holbrook contain a Freeview TV with DVD player, hairdryer, alarm clock and an en suite shower room. Tea and coffee is joined by hot chocolate and biscuits.

Review 1：Road a little noisy but that did not bother us.
Review 2：Good location for our purposes. Owners v. friendly and helpful. Breakfast v. good and plentiful. Car parking.
Review 3：Breakfast could have been better. Eggs, sausage & hash browns could have been prepared better. Also all the bedrooms are upstairs which can be difficult for elderly people.

Review 5：As our bedroom was on the front and there was a busy road and petrol station opposite, we would have liked to have had some net curtains/voiles at the window as we had to keep curtains closed when we came out of the shower to dress. A minor point really.
Review 6：Diane was very welcoming and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious, loved it that there was lovely fresh strawberries and pineapple available, the cooked breakfast was very tasty and not greasy what we would call lovely clean tasting food.

Review 8：We called multiple times (>20) as we made our way to Shaftesbury. At no time did the owners answer the phone. We were asked to call another number and we ran out of air time so we couldn't. We arrived at 10 past midnight and pressed the bell three times on their front door. There was a light on in a room above the front door but we could not get any answer. We asked at the local Inn and the Hotel on the circle but there was no space. My daughter Catherine - an ME sufferer - and I were forced to sleep in our car that night. She will have a week of exhaustion ahead of her as a result of this bad experience.

Review 10：I liked the atmosphere and friendliness I was impressed with Ian's garden. Diane and Ian couldn't have been more helpful or supportive when my taxi didn't turn up.

Review 42：It's located on a rather busy road near a round-a-bout, so it was a little scary to drive out. Also due to the traffic it got noisy early morning, but that was only an issue with one of the family.
