Reviews for Dunluce House

Review 1:Bob & Josie are fantastic hosts, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful cooked breakfast. Twin room with sea view, lounge area too, very comfortable & spacious.

Review 2:Parking and stairs were a mild inconvenience

Review 3:Dunluce House has been added to our small list of places to recommend to any of our friends as the place to stay in Dawlish. The owners are very hospitable, the view of the town interesting, the breakfasts delicious and the house is very clean.

Review 4:Not very user friendly with regard to parking. Dawlish has a lack of parking space anyway and to park at the premises takes a lot of manoeuvring and if there is more that one car there it is like musical chairs.

Review 5:The flat was excellent, very comfortable and with all possible amenities there. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating.

Review 6:Room was beautifully furnished with wonderful view over Dawlish. Food and hospitality outstanding. Parking is communual with Bob happy to move the cars when necessary.

Review 7:Bob and Josie were great hosts, cooking lovely food and happy to provide information on local dining, transport etc. The room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed and sofa, lovely sea view and a good shower. Location was pretty good - less than 5 minute walk to the station/sea front/bus stop/etc. We were shown the other rooms in the house too before the other guests arrived and they looked lovely, so we wouldn't have thought the experience is room dependent.

Review 8:The breakfast choice; relaxing room and the warm welcome certainly made our stay at Dunluce House very enjoyable! The location and views are superb making it easy to explore the surrounding area by train or car. We look forward to returning in the near future!

Review 14:There was nothing not to like! The stairs to our room were a bit steep but that is purely an age thing, we are both getting on.

Review 15:The greeting from the hosts Bob and Josie, the excellent breakfasts madefresh to your requirements, sausages to die for and coffee freshly made, our room was very large with comfortable beds and a big leather setteeto sink into to watch the large hd/tvBob is the perfect host that is happiest helping out with where to eat and how to get about, we went by rail and he even picked us up and returned us to the station, and is full of info. He also carried our cases to the room up three flights of Georgian style stairs. We had a room which was always clean and bright with a view across the town to the sea, the ensuite with shower and bath exceedingly good, lovely white fluffy towels, always really hot water, soap and shower condiments aplenty, a perfect B&B.

Review 19:I can't not recommend this guest house highly enough. It's gorgeous. Bright, spacious and so relaxing. The village of Dawlish is a lovely spot and well worth a visit. Bob and Josie looked after me with such care and attention that I really felt able to relax as soon as I got through the front door. The facilities are top of the range and they probably have the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. If you are anywhere near this area, this is the guest house you should stay in.
