Reviews for Number 5

Review 1:No dislikes

Review 2:Central location, car parking 50 yds away, lovely room, tastefully furnished and decorated, huge comfy bed, excellent bathroom. Delightful friendly hosts in Kate and Tom. Large breakfast room, beautifully decorated and furnished. Excellent breakfast, great menu.

Review 3:The bnb was in the center of town in a beautiful Georgian home. The friendly owners welcomed us with tea, and provided a delicious breakfast the next day. The basement room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for the one night we stayed.

Review 4:I'm disappointed the hot water was not unlimited and ran cold during early hours and the heated towel rail should be on timer or permanent as did not operate during stay. Perhaps enquire with owner as to function. Not something i feel the need to look into during a short 1 night stay so towels were damp in morning after evening use. Also, double room with garden terrace was nice but if you want to sleep in a bit nearer the check out time, be aware the breakfast room is right above you so it's a little noisy from 9 onwards. Not a deal breaker but is very noticeable.

Review 5:Access to fridge adjacent to room. Allowed free early check in.

Review 6:WiFi needs sorting out perhaps...

Review 7:A top draw B&B,lovely place for either an overnight or longer, great host`,lovely room, huge bed and a cracking choice of breakfast. The best B&B we`ve ever stayed in but remember to book early.

Review 8:Had to move on.

Review 9:Very friendly and helpful owners who were knowledgeable about the local area. Car parking was very useful and fresh milk for the room is a rarity these days.

Review 10:Kate and Trevor have a beautiful home and we were made to feel very much at home also. Lovely bedrooms and extremely comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast.

Review 11:Excellent location, free parking, room was excellent, owners were very friendly and welcoming and a very good breakfast, we would definitely stay again.

Review 12:On busy road and on way home for Friday nighters...1am noise! Stairs down to basement room a bit awkward. No wifi in room.

Review 13:House and decor was nice with interesting artwork. Close to town centre and parking not far away. Breakfast good and room comfortable.

Review 14:Perhaps a little too thick a duvet - bit warm for summer!

Review 15:The central location, the easy parking, the comfortable accommodation and the friendly welcome

Review 16:Nothing.

Review 17:Beautiful house with lovely rooms with lots of nice, individual details. The Garden room has the comfiest bed in the world and all rooms have high quality, local artwork. Great breakfast with top quality local ingredients.

Review 18:Garden Room very nice but unfortunately right below kitchen so had to listen to severe noise from owners till 10am and also when they got up early to make breakfast.

Review 19:Very high standard and service

Review 20:Nothing, but get directions for parking

Review 25:Warmth of welcome by Kate. Lovely little touches-being offered tea on arrival; chocolates; fresh water and milk in fridge. Decor stylish but unfussy. Room spacious and well funished.

Review 26:No internet in the bedroom, so had to go upstairs to dining room to connect - frustrating!

Review 27:Location, close to many restaurants and historical town centre. Large, well appointed room with good bathroom in sub-basement of Georgian house. Welcoming and helpful hosts with friendly dog. Good breakfasts.

Review 28:The room was a bit chilly when we arrived until the heating came on - although there was an electric radiator. The heating seemed to go off overnight and the bathroom was freezing as it was a cold night. Take slippers as the tiled floor was a shock in the night!

Review 29:The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed excellent. The beautiful furniture and artwork around the property were delightful and I had to buy some of Kate's lovely flower cards to frame. The breakfast was particularly delicious and I would return just for that.

Review 30:Nothing

Review 31:We were served a scrumptious breakfast in the elegant Georgian dining room. Fresh milk for hot drinks in our room was provided in a fridge just outside in the corridor. Our bed was big and very comfortable. We were also very close to the shops and Gold Hill. In the evening we dined at the Grosvenor Hotel and were surprised to see Peter Capaldi (Dr Who) and his wife on another table.
