Review 3:Some Premiers Inn have renewed their beds for ones that are soft giving me the opportunity to sleep. Sadly true has not been done at East Midlands. Poor quality, your brands suffers from never being consistent.
Review 4:Reasonable peace except person in room above stomping around for one hour from 0030 hrs to 0130hrs. Your television does not receive a signal of use either.

Review 6:Big, clean rooms, quiet, good food, and exceptionally friendly staff. Location - you can see the airport planes its that close - but you cant here them. Shower room is massive and fully fitted for all types of access requirements.
Review 7:Car park had a charge - wasn't specified anywhere when booking. Noisy as obviously on the airport grounds - however we could not hear anything from within our room!
Review 8:Location was ideal! Very easy to find and easy to get to the airport (our main reason for staying at this hotel). Premier inn was of the same standard as most premier inns - I stay in them often and I was not disappointed. Room was sound proof could not hear the planes at all

The staff were excellent,the evening meal was superb the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and set us up for the long flight! We will definitely be booking to stop here again before our holiday next year! We even got to weigh our cases free of charge before going to the airport!

Review 16:We found the room we were allocated to be too hot when we mentioned it to the gentleman at reception we were offered an alternative room immediately on the ground floor. We never ever complain about our accommodation where ever we stay and felt awful even mentioning it to the staff but they put us at ease and assured us it was no problem, Can,t praise them both enough.

The whole place was unbearably hot so sleep was almost impossible.Given that the hotel knew about this prior to my booking it should havebeen mentioned because I would have chosen elsewhere. A few who werechecking in later did make that choice and canceled their bookings uponarrival! Charging guests £4 to park overnight is unacceptable when otherlocal hotels provide foc parking!

Review 23:The room was much too hot, needs air con., the fan supplied in the room is totally impractical, it just blows the hot air around. i wouldn't stay here again because if this, shame as everything else very good.

Review 25:No air con. At one point my son had a temp of 38.6. I went downstairs to complain to be told all air con was down. What should of been a leisurely night leaving us refreshed for our holiday it turned into the night from hell which ruined the first day of our holiday. Very disappointing!

Review 29:We booked room Via Booking.com. When we arrived between booking.com and the hotel our booking had got mixed up and put under a completely different name. It took an hour to sort. Staff were helpful but should be able to remedy problems more easily. The double bed was comfortable, but my 7 year old said his single bed was very hard and had difficulty sleeping. The room was very warm - no air con, but there was a fan in the room which we had on all the time.
Review 30:Easy to get to the hotel. Taxi to airport cost approx £7.00. Good choice of foods on the menu and reasonably priced. Restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for our food.. At the bar they had happy hour. Hotel was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere.

Review 37:It was a very hot night and the hotel were in the process of changing air con systems so difficult to sleep. Windows only opened a fraction. However under good night slept policy they did offer us another stay free of charge. This I thought was very kind. As we couldn't fault anything else we did not accept their kind offer. If the weather hadn't been so hot and humid I am sure the rooms temperature would have been ok .

Review 54:The staff were delightful despite being extremely busy and under pressure. The lady on reception on 15/6/15 was exceptional and should be highly commended. The young man on breakfast on 16/6/15, johnathon I think, was also absolutely fantastic! The staff are what make this place exceptional!
Review 55:Staff got very confused with check in and also a goodnight refund which I had to spend a lengthy amount of time on the phone to customer services to rectify. At the time they were 'replacing the heater controls' so there was no control over the heater/aircon which made for a very hot nights 'sleep'. A token fan was provided but this made little difference. This was covered under the goodnight guarantee and I'm sure only a short term issue. Having to pay £4 a night for parking was a bit of a joke in my opinion. It is in place to stop people leaving their cars then going on holiday. Not sure how it is supposed to work because thats still super cheap airport parking... Surely penalise these people not paying guests.
Review 56:Nice and close to Donington Park race track. The Thyme restaurant serves good food and is very convenient. They also take food orders until 21:45 which was a great bonus when working late at the track.

Review 88:We stayed at Premier because of the weather, and landed at East Midlands at 8-30pm. Got to the Premier at just after 9pm on the 28th Dec. The Restaraunt had just that minute closed, they couldn't even Russell. Up a sandwich, not happy,after traveling. And the Breakfast was very slow we gave our order then waited 1hr, in the end we complained, and got a dried up excuse for a fried breakfast. The were really understaffed, but the ones that were working did all they could to help. Not sure we would stay there again. And we use East Midlands about 4 or 5 Times a year.

"Have you booked a table " "No" "Sorry we have no table" "Ok , can I have a sandwich in my room" "You can order at the bar for that." After waiting for people to be served was told it would be a long wait for this to happen. Back into the car to the local petrol station for sandwich to be eaten in my room.

There is an air-conditioning unit in the room, however, the location of the unit means that if you sit at the desk the air (either cold or hot) from the unit is directed straight at you via the vents. It would be better if the air vents are not directed straight in the path of someone sitting at the desk.

The first time a staff member came after 20 mins to drain it at 10pm, then at 3am my husband had to do it! Kids beds were a bit hard! A case perhaps of too many cooks. Things would work better if the same person handled ones order / served your food and checked on things instead of one being asked the same question by three different people.
