Review 2：Great base to explore crete stopped here 4 years ago it was good then which is why we returned nothing much has changed it was a Thomson holiday when we originally went this time we booked on our own as we new what to expect very satisfied Very quiet with a 2 min walk to main strip and a 10 min bus ride to rythymno old town

Review 4：Amazing hospitality from the owner , it feels like you are staying with relatives. Everything is close but without the noise of the center, 10 meters away a big super market 100m away the center with everything you need. The rooms are clean huge and the cleaners are cleaning everyday. They are looking to the pool where you can have a quiet sunny relaxing day if you do not want to travel to go somewhere else, although Crete is an amazing island to explore. Highly recommended hotel .If i go to Crete again i will deffinetely stay to this hotel without a second though.

Review 5：Fantastic facility with very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. We stayed at the beginning of August and had a fantastic trip. Plenty of sunbeds, pool is great and the owner went above and beyond to help us out.

Review 7：Spacious apartments with nice kitchen and huge balcony, great pool, hills view, everyday cleaning, next to the Lidl supermarket with spacious car parking, 5min walk to lots of cafes and tavernas, 10min walk to the beach. Manolis, the hotel manager, was very friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi all around the place.

Review 14：Fantastic stay at the Evelin once again. The staff are so friendly & this accommodation ticks all the right boxes with us. Beautiful grounds, clean & good size pool & a really inviting pool bar. Perfect location for shops & restaurants

Review 15：First and most importantly this hotel is run by such an hospitable group of family and friends. If you want kindness and great service, do come here. The pool, gardens and bar area are lovely. The pool is one of the larger pools that I have seen whilst staying in Platanes. You can be as quiet or as involved in banter with staff and visitors as you like. There is no pressure from staff to buy drinks or food at the hotel which makes for a relaxing time. I must confess though, it is hard, due to the friendliness of the staff, not to spend a good few afternoons or evenings at the bar for a freshly squeezed orange juice or cold beer. There is a LIDL supermarket directly opposite the hotel which is extremely convenient with the hotel offering self catering facilities, however the local cuisine is so good that it is hard not to eat in restaurants most of the time- the local restaurants are a mere 5 minute walk in 2 directions. Vissilis and Michael make for great hotel barmen so if you need any information whilst staying at the hotel, they are so willing to help, and also willing to take requests for songs at the pool bar - Mr Boombastic!! Great, clean, friendly hotel with lovely pool and gardens. Thank you.
