Newmans Lodge is situated in Alpheton, within 10 minutes' drive from the market towns of Lavenham, Sudbury and Long Melford and 15 minutes’ drive of Bury St Edmunds. There is a large garden and ample off-road parking is also available.
With a Juliet balcony overlooking the Suffolk countryside, the spacious en suite room also features a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The West-facing balcony offers lovely sunsets.
You are welcome to relax in the lodge's large garden.
A full English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room, and evening meals can be provided with prior notice. There is a separate breakfast room for guests to use too.
London Stansted Airport can be reached in an hour's drive.

The room was lovely, it was perfect as we were staying after a wedding at alpheton barns which were about a 10 minute walk from here. Claire & her husband were lovely & not to mention the dog!!

Review 11：Our hosts paid attention to every detail so that we felt at home from the start. We had two comfortable night's sleep in a warm, quiet room. Our room was beautifully furnished and had beautiful artworks of Venice, a spacious en suite, a Juliet balcony and even a tiny fridge with fresh milk. Our hosts were friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfast was superb.
