Review 1：Really nice facilities. Breakfast was not included BUT they gave us some small sandwiches the previous night, for next morning. Also, wood for the fireplace was free of charge.
Review 2：Incredible view, quietness, very clean. The coordinates which were in booking.com were 100% accurate. The navigation brought us exactly in front of the gate of the hotel. The owner was extremely kind and helpful.
Review 3：This place really is excellent. The setting is perfect, you are high up on a mountain with panoramic views all the way to the sea. The place you stay is made up of a series of stone buildings around a central courtyard. The room we stayed in and the development itself was excellent: Clean Fridge/freezer Sink for washing plates Fireplace Wooden window shutters so you don't get woken up by the sun large comfy bed sofa balcony with views down the mountain to the sea seating areas in the courtyard and in front of the buildings The interior of the rooms are tastefully decorated featuring exposed wooden beams etc. very well maintained and put together. ...but without doubt the best thing about this place is Kostas (your host). I've never met such a friendly, helpful and cheerful guy. He literally couldn't do more to help us. To give you an example, he offered to lend us money to go to a restaurant as we arrived with no cash...amazing. As for the general surroundings, there is a village nearby which is lovely and has some excellent cafes/restaurants. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. I will be going back when I get the opportunity. One small point to note is that although the place has wifi the connection is a bit hit or miss. I suspect this is the connection to the village in general rather than this particular hotel as other places in the village had the same problem. It is up a mountain after all!
Review 4：Used sponges at the sink. The sound insolation between the two appartments in the house could probably be better, talk and all kinds of noises came through.
Review 5：Almost everything. The houses are nicely equipped and contain two appartments each. Very friendly and helpful manager. Not easily found, but the view to the sea is marvellous.

Review 7：We stayed in this beautiful place with our 3 kids who were excited to sleep in the upper floor. Everything was clean and nicely organized, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped. This is the only place in greece where we got milk, orange juice, coffee, sugar and other food items that served as the base to our breakfasts. The old village of Palaios Panteleimon is about 100m from the cabins. The view from the balcony is magnificent (the picture does not lie). Kostas, the host, made our stay there perfect, he took care of everything we needed and provided good advices regarding the area.

Review 9：We've stayed here for 3 nights and felt in love with this quiet, beautiful, place, with gorgeous old village of Palaios Panteleimon located on the slopes of Kato Olympus! The Kastania Gi is a beautiful traditional apartment with clean and comfortable rooms, with a small balcony to enjoy the unique view to the coastline of the southern Pieria. Above all, Costas, the friendliest host. He did whatever possible to make our stay here perfect. And my son Alexander enjoyed so much playing with Vassilios! We felt like we are home. If I ever go back to Greece I would definitely stay here again!
Review 10：Wonderful combination of mountain and sea, everyone with love for the nature and local authentic architecture will enjoy it, for people who like to be active on their vacation, to see new things, to do sports and hiking and sleep well during the night without being disturbed by crowds of people. At the same time, no problem to enjoy various restaurants, bars, cafes in close proximity by car.
Review 11：This was a gorgeous traditional apartment. There had been attention to detail with wooden windows and furniture, yet with modern home comforts. The owner had made cheese to sties for us for breakfast and put them in fridge and left tea and coffee etc. we were made to feel very welcome. The village is stunning and we had a lovely time exploring the cobbled streets and little shops and tavernas. The one we chose had a view of mount Olympus from the window. It was a little difficult to find. Turn off the main highway at the exit for the castle and turn uphill through the village. You will quickly pick up signs for this village which is further up the hill on a little narrow road. When you get to the top you will reach a car park ( the village is mainly traffic free) turn left below the car park and the property is on your left a little way down the hill. We loved this property and village and would happily go back for longer. If you like auThentic Greek villages this is for you.
Review 12：This is a small batch of traditional Greek houses in a very quiet location. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the owner (Kostas) is very friendly. The village itself looks like from a fairy tale and there is a good choice of traditional Greek tavernas in the centre.

So calm, such a great view from up there and perfect energy to gain back your strength. Perfect for hiking. The host is very friendly and helpful. I will visit this place again for sure.
Review 29：We loved it all: the welcoming with a fire ready in the heating place, the pretty village,the view on the valley, … We had a breakfast ready in the fridge and could prepare it ourselves in the kitchen corner. The host speaks French and English.

Review 31：Kastania Gi is a great place to relax and explore the surrounding areas. It benefits from amazing views, fireplace in the room, very polite owner, clean rooms. Its very good that the place is accessible by car as its in the entrance of the old village, unlike most guesthouses around the old square where you need to drop your car at some point and walk
