Review 1：The resort is terrible! It is basically a main road. There is nothing Greek about it! There is very little to do on an evening, there is a limited selection of bars and restaurants. The location of the hotel is down a road that backs on to the main motorway and 4 rooms look onto this. The rooms at the back look over a derelict piece of land with the main road through the resort. The hotels photos on booking.com are not a true reflection. We won't be returning to Crete as it has lost it's authenticity to cater for schnitzel loving Europeans and Brits who crave a Sunday roast.

Review 3：Simple standard, but still great. We had a bedroom for 4 with a small kitchen and a barhroom. Everything vas very clean. The owner Mariana was charming and helpful, she did everthing to make us happy. I will Go back.

Review 7：Good to stay with family and kids. Has a kitchen, so if you want to cook, find Lidl which is very close and you can buy stuff at better price in the city. You can find tavernas and many shops for souvenirs, prices same as at Retimno and Chania. Bus station is very close, so you can easily come and go in various directions. The beach was not very crowded and noisy at the time we stayed (June), in comparison with Chania and Retimno, but on the other hand it wasn't wild/empty. Everything was perfect! The host was "kids-friendly" - no any suggestions to the kids and their loud activities in the pool. Thank you Maria and family for your hospitality!
Review 8：The only complaint was that there was no hot water no matter what time we tried to shower. It wasn't even luke warm, it was just cold.

Review 12：The air conditioning was not working in our room and unfortunately we had to wait for two days until it was replaced. The hotel provided us with fans to accommodate for the heat a bit, but I feel they should have acted quicker to replace the a/c, given the fact that these were the hottest days of the summer. They could have offered us to switch rooms in this hotel or in a cooperating hotel, but this didn't happen. So, I think they should just organize themselves better for such unforeseen events.

Review 15：The main road is near the hotel so it's noisy to sleep but there is an air-conditioner but you can't regulate the temperature, it was always the same so it was becoming cold in the night. And the sheet under the window who started to bleat at 5 am to milk. Wi Fi on the second floor in one of the room was not good almost all the time.
Review 16：Maria is very helpful, kind and wonderful girl! The restaurants, tavernas, shops are very close, 2 minutes of walk and the sea too with a perfect beach but it's better to choose the one public on the left with green umbrellas in my opinion. The bus stop is in 2 minutes of walk, no problem, the kiosk with tickets is in front. Retymno is in 10 minutes on a bus. Pools are not big bit it's enough for spending time there sometimes, the most important is the sea where you can go when you want.
Review 17：The apartment was clean and big, with a small terrace. The manager is very friendly and helpful, with knowledge of best beaches. The localization is good, near a big beach. It's in a small village but it has a lot of restaurants and shops. Rethymno is just 5 min by car.

She has very good knowledge of immediate and further surroundings and gives perfect recommendations on places to go. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay!
