Reviews for Hotel Seppl Familie & Spa

Review 1:the wi-fi didn't work properly, dinner with only 2 menus to choose.

Review 2:Great position, large and comfy room. Great breakfast (both sweet and savoury). Very close to Innsbruck, you can travel to with an handy tram (STB)

Review 3:The hotel is very family friendly. The decor is charming and immaculate. My children enjoyed the pool. I appreciated the robes, slippers and towels provided by the hotel for the pool and spa area. Dinner and breakfast were deliosious. The mountain views were spectacular from our room.

Review 4:Breakfast staff did remove my glass of juice from the table before I had finished, but this is very, very minor.

Review 5:Location is fantastic. Recommend Edelweiss suite. Would stay again.

Review 6:The location was lovely and the food was excellent. The people were friendly and helpful and suggested a nice hike for me to take around the neighborhood.

Review 7:Breakfast was repetitive. Almost no option for dinner.

Review 8:A beautiful property set amidst lush green posh surroundings. Bianca at the reception was very cooperative and understood English very well.

Review 9:There was nothing we dd not like. All our experiences of this hotel were positive and exceeded our expectations.

Review 10:We liked the convenient location to Innsbruck, to the train, local amenities, and the numerous local walks. The authentic hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) and thought the choice and quality of the food was superb and excellent value. The complimentary afternoon coffee and cake was a lovely and thoughtful touch.

Review 11:Wonderful family hotel, friendly but not intrusive. We opted for half board and the evening meals were wonderful - our compliments to the chef. Wonderful mountain views from our room.

Review 12:Slow wifi. Limited choice at set menu dinner. No restaurants open in the village of Mutters. So only other option was to take train to Innsbruck

Review 13:First room was small. After upgrade for our cost we had an excellent room

Review 14:My north facing room was very dark. There is a door to the balcony and a small window only. The main light has been removed and a smoke detector put in its place. The switches are still there, but od course they do not work. So guests have to rely on three table lamps and a floor lamp. The room is always gloomy even during the day.

Review 15:The hotel is in a good location with a good view to the north. It is convenient for the tram into Innsbruck and there is a supermarket close by.

Review 16:A very warm, family-run hotel, with a lot of attention to detail. The food was excellent, the fact that we were vegetarian was immediately acknowledged and considered. Best level of hospitality!

Review 17:A little too noisy cleaning staff in the morning...but that´s not any real problem which can´t be fixed!:-)

Review 18:Very good value for the money!! Nice breakfast and free access to Spa and pool! Clean, fresh and cosy room and hotel!! Can surely recommend!!

Review 19:booking.com allowed us to book what we thought was a double room with an additional bed for our son, but when we arrived we found out this was a room too small for an extra bed, so the hotel were put to trouble to move us (which they did with very good grace), and we had to pay a little extra. A little disappointed the restaurant couldn't adjust the fixed menu enough to cater for a non-meat eater.

Review 20:Gorgeous building, and fabulous view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a lovely little balcony. The free tea and cake in the lounge was a real treat! Location was superb, in a quiet village just a short and fun train ride from the centre of Innsbruck.

Review 21:Nothing.

Review 22:Stunning location and very well managed hotel. It's a family run hotel and the people are extremely friendly and professional at the same time . The views from the hotel are fabulous and the food is fantastic .We loved our stay and hope to go back again.

Review 23:No real complaints but bottled water in the room would have been nice at this price level and status

Review 24:Superb location with stunning views, excellent food and very friendly, helpful staff. So convenient for walking, village centre, train station (best way to Innsbruck!) and not far from Autobahn. A really good relaxing holiday

Review 25:Room was a little tired, but still very pleasant.

Review 26:Awesome friendly and helpful staff! Amazing breakfasts, free afternoon coffee and dinners and views from the restaurant. Close to train to Innsbruck. Lots of character, lovely gardens.

Review 27:Everything was great--

Review 28:Great family hotel, great view from our room over the rolling mountains and hills, great location very close to city but far enough to relax, enjoy nature, the pool and jogging in nearby forest.

Review 29:Hard to find a parking space if the hotel is fully booked.

Review 30:The location is outside of Innsbruck with great views over the mountains from the breakfast room. Good breakfast. Quiet place.

Review 31:No Bad exp, but info about what to to out of Mutters - Train to Innsbruck and so could be better.

Review 32:Familidriven Nice hotell. They did everything so we could have a Nice stay !

Review 33:Excellent location just outside Innsbruck but with easy access via local tram service 5 minute walk from hotel, superb views, very comfortable room and nice to relax in pool & sauna. Staff were very friendly, most spoke English well enough for us to communicate (essential as we can't speak German), and created a real family atmosphere. The food was excellent - we took the half board option and the 5-course evening meal was really tasty and excellent value (even though we didn't eat there every night). The complimentary afternoon coffee and cakes was also a nice touch.

Review 34:nothing not to like about the hotel and the staff

Review 35:just about everything was superb, very good value evening meal all freshly cooked ,a different choice each night congrats to the chef .rooms very quiet and lots of hot water , wi-fi connection very good Good Ski and boot storage [ Heated] nice

Review 36:Nothing

Review 37:Everything. Management,Position, Staff and Facilities. Not cheap but good value. Ideal to just sit , enjoy and indulge. Lovely guided walks are included with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, and the restaurant fare is excellent

Review 38:Absolutely nothing!

Review 39:The ambiance, the service, the very efficient staff, the breath-taking views, the food, the short distance to the tram station. Everything was great to make it a relaxing, lovely holiday! I would go there again and highly recommend it.

Review 40:We cannot commend the staff highly enough for their kindness and consideration when at very short notice we had to return to the UK owing to a very close member of the family becoming gravely ill whilst we were away. They organised our return flight home from Munich as well as organising door to door transport on our behalf. Our thanks to them and we very much look forward to returning and continuing our holiday at some time in the future to enjoy their excellent food and friendly service.

Review 41:good dishes, very clean and accurate, kind service

Review 42:Very quiet location in picturesque setting.

Review 43:Terrific location, view and access to Innsbruck

Review 44:Superb dinners, great breakfasts, brilliant view, 3 minutes from the tram station into Innsbruck

Review 45:Food superb and very friendly and helpful staff

Review 46:Rude staff, not well informed. Not very helpful.

Review 47:Lovely place up in the mountains. Owner very friendly.

Review 48:Wifi sometimes weak.

Review 49:Size of room, price, diners

Review 50:A room in this price level should have a refrigerator!

Review 51:Perfect food - both for breakfast and dinner!

Review 52:Amazing view from my balcony. I had a very large room. shower, bathtub, great view of the mountains and clean room.

Review 53:Food, location and friendliness

Review 54:The room was absolutely lovely with a beautiful view of Innsbruck.

Review 55:View incredible. People so friendly Wish it was winter but it wasn't so still amazing

Review 56:No air conditioning.

Review 57:Beautiful location.Proximity of the tram to travel into the centre of Innsbruck. Excellent meals.

Review 58:Not what I was expecting.

Review 59:View of the mountains.

Review 60:Weather (not the hotel's fault)

Review 61:All round excellent quality, food and wonderful position and views.

Review 62:Expensive for hotel that could use some updating in the room. The Comfortable beds are a plus. Delicious dinner.

Review 63:Pretty views

Review 64:All the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, the place was very well presented and everything I wanted.

Review 65:Great hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views

Review 66:The view from the back of the hotel is beautiful! We enjoyed the balcony every evening. Close to the train station, easy commute into Innsbruck.

Review 67:Indifferent staff, tiny pool in basement room

Review 68:Clean and spacious rooms

Review 69:Parking space is not enough.

Review 70:Nothing special. Just typical Austrian mountain hotel.

Review 71:Wireless was slow

Review 72:It is a very cute hotel with a beautiful view over the mountains and the valley and still close to Innsbruck.

Review 73:Splendid view to the valley and the mountains. Breakfast. Hotel run by a family. Nice staff.

Review 74:Nothing really, the dinner may have been a little pricey.

Review 75:The room, the view, the staff, the location. Would definitely stay there again.

Review 76:Everything

Review 77:Comfortable and quiet and well located. Should have stayed linger.

Review 78:Just perfect comfi hotel with spa, sauna, delicious food, good breakfest, perfect loaction in quit area with nature, only 5 minutes by car to Innsbruck center.

Review 79:Lovely location, half-way up an easy to drive up mountain, with a tram stop a 2 minute walk away which takes you directly to and from Innsbruck. The 5 course organic evening meals were exceptional and breakfast was healthy and plentiful too as was the fresh mountain air. Staff were lovely throughout and were very helpful if you asked their advice in respect of local / hotel activities. The pool, various steamrooms and colour therapy booth (complementary) also made for a very relaxing, healthy and good value stay. Plenty of walking trails and ski slopes and mountains in close proximity, including the popular Seefeld ski resort which was a 15 minute drive away. The hotel also provides complementary afternoon tea and cakes between 3 - 5pm daily. Would highly recommended this hotel and would definately stay again.

Review 80:Friendly and welcoming, nice family-feeling the entire Staff is always willing to please the wishes of their customers. Amazing host's one of the best locations i ever had the chance to stay overnight. The Kitchen deserves an extra THANK'S for the choice of Food and the kind of preparation and presentation, some star-chef's should go and take some lessons in this Hotel. I will come back for sure with my family for vacation.

Review 81:Wifi is extremely unstable (capacity too low) . Either hard to connect to or once connected, it kicks you out all the time, also in the lobby.

Review 82:Location is great, close to the Mutter Almbahn. Hotel also provides free bustransport to this Alm. Great food, friendly personnel. Complete breakfast buffet Nice Spa and pool. Room for skis/board + shoe heating

Review 83:Wi-fi worked, but pretty slowly. Mattress seemed a bit aged, but not too much to worry about.

Review 84:Very quiet and comfortable family-run hotel. Would not hesitate to stay again when passing through Innsbruck.

Review 85:The only negative point was the village of Mutters. Beautiful in many respects - scenic, clean, close to many beautiful nature walks (ideal for me and my dog). But nothing was open at the weekend - i missed a nice American style coffee shop/bakers where to read a newspaper, grab a sandwich.. yknow.. Then it would have been perfect!

Review 86:The Hotel was a lovely family run business - it was warm and cosy, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I will most certainly stay there again!

Review 87:When having a shower, it was unusual not to be able to stand up and havethe nozzle above you, instead having to hold it yourself and thenwithout a shower curtain, the water goes everywhere which provesinconvenient when the shower is only a metre away from the bed withoutany door being there. Also, when you book an Edelweiss suite, that showson the internet that you are booking a room with views out over themountains, didn't like being put initially into a very dark roomthat overlooked the car park. To their credit, they offered us to selectone of two rooms that had better views.

Review 88:Everything that most other reviewers talk about, being the beautifullocation and views, the five course meal at night for a very reasonablecharge of 22 Euros per person. After a long period with being away andstaying in many hotels in city centres, this was a welcome change to beout in the countryside a bit. The little train that goes into the twocentre of Innsbruck, was really close to use.

Review 89:The setting of this hotel is ideal for those who want to experience theAustrian Alps without a car. Just a short tram ride away from beautifulInnsbruck, which has awesome shopping (who doesn't love Swarovskicrystals?), it also has easy access to short and longer hikes and skislopes. The hotel itself has a small but thoroughly equippedspa/pool and one of the nicest breakfast buffets I encountered in 40days in Europe. Dinner featured local specialties and wine. I thoroughlyenjoyed waking up to a stunning alps view from my balcony overlookingthe charming village of Mutters.

Review 90:Emma was very friendly & helpful. The hotel was well situated outside Innsbruck. The facilities were very good and the rooms were also very good. the food was excellent.

Review 91:The room we received was tiny and II had to bend my head to enter the room. It is really not a 4 star hotel. Maybe people who gave it 5 stars got better rooms. We ate dinner and the service was so fast we felt we were rushed out of the dining room.

Review 92:Good location and surroundings.

Review 93:the hotel is not really a four star hotel. The breakfast was spartan and some items ran out quickly and were not replaced. The rooms and apartments are small. Little value for money.

Review 94:location was good.. very close to Innsbruck. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly.

Review 95:Very nice, clean, with tasty cousine. You can feel the family, tyrolian atmosphere. Good alternative for much more expensive hotels in the Stubai Valley.

Review 96:Location was great, not far from Innsbruck (10 min by car), however, in a nice small village which is quiet. The hotel is located in quiet area with fabulous view on Alps. The food was great, and the sortiment of wines as well. I really recommend this hotel for everyone.

Review 97:While it was worth the 19 euros P.P. for the dinners (and smallafternoon coffee, cake). If one would have directly booked thru thehotel, the difference would have only been 15 euros/ P.P. per night. Ifwhile booking thru the hotel, you decide to not et the dinner, they willdeduct 12 euros. So make sure you consider if you would like half boardor not. We were looking forward to a romantic weekend w/o our children, thinking the hotel was more for guests like us. But this is a very family-friendly hotel..so we did hear and see many families with smallchildren, at least we could relax that we did not have our own with usin at dinner. The only real negative that I can say about the hotelwould be the hours of the spa were limited and only open from 3-7:30 pm.It would have been nice if at least open later, or earlier.

Review 98:For us it was the perfect location as we were visiting friends in thatvillage. The spa area was very nice and relaxing. The pool was small, yet there was a type of surge you could activate and swim against if youwanted to really swim. The 5 course dinner were very very nice andtasty. The Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and nicelydecorated, yet some areas of the hallways and carpets were worn.

Review 99:That is a wonderful hotel with very helpful and nice personal. This is truly 4 star hotel with new and modern spa and swimming pool. You have an amazing view on alps there. The hotel is also close to Innsbruck and ideal for hiking and bike trips. We traveled with a small kid and the staff was extremely helpful in accommodating all our needs.

Review 100:some guests seem to think they were something special.

Review 101:everything

Review 102:Poor wifi in the room. (Downstairs it was good.)

Review 103:Big room facing the mountains. Bathroom was modern and nice-looking.

Review 104:Everything was just perfectly fine, welcoming with tons of Austrian hospitality; true blast.

Review 105:Friendly staff, warm atmosphere.

Review 106:Wi-Fi didn't work at the room

Review 107:Slow internet

Review 108:Very friendly personal Nice dishes and wines

Review 109:The wifi was very slow o e night.

Review 110:The view was amazing. The room was big. Very comfortable. 3min walking distance from the tram.

Review 111:Slow internet wifi

Review 112:Staff very kind, dinner delicious and good value for money, pool.

Review 113:Arriving 8 pm and restaurant was closed. Breakfast average... Only speaking German.

Review 114:Typical clean Austrian family hotel.

Review 115:It would be nice if mini-bars were placed in the rooms

Review 116:Pretty much everything
