Highland Holiday Cottages offers a beautiful location in the Cairngorms, just off the A9 Road and 30 minutes’ drive from Aviemore's ski slopes. These cottages offer free fly-fishing on site.
Each of the 8 cottages at the family-run Highland Holiday Cottages has modern décor combined with traditional design. The living area has a sofa and a flat-screen TV. There is also a wood-burning stove or a gas fire.
The kitchen comes with a microwave, fridge, toaster and an oven. Free Wi-Fi, towels and bed linen are included.
You can enjoy access to a golf practice area, a games room, and volleyball and badminton courts during the summer months. There is also a walled garden with a barbecue.
You can go hiking, cycling, horse riding and quad biking in the surrounding hills.
Newtonmore is 5.5 miles away. You can drive through the stunning Great Glen to Fort William, 1 hour’s drive away. Inverness is 50 miles from the cottages.

Review 1：Christmas at Crubenbeg (Birch Cottage) did not disappoint. Immaculate and well appointed cottage with attention to detail in creating a magical Christmas set in a beautiful location.

Review 2：Booking.com had not warned me that electricity was separate via metered cards hence you have to add 10 pounds extra a day to total cost which may have impacted on final decision to stay ,had I known it before. Also for such a large property there should have been a washing machine in the house rather than a common one , that a would really make this cottage complete

Review 5：Lovely house with stunning views. Extremely friendly and helpful managers. Very dog friendly and easy access from the A9. Great facilities for children.

Review 6：A bit veird boiler timing settings that made impossible to have a shower after 9pm for a couple of times. Had to wait for 1h to have hot water.

Review 8：I liked the perfect communication before the trip - the fast and polite answers, the perfect directions sent to me. I liked the way how we were greeted - like old friends. The rooms and beds are comfortable,the kitchen very well equipped, a fast WiFi, an excellent TV.

Review 9：Electricity was more expensive than we expected but not unreasonable, given the fact everything including heating and hot water is electric. Not a big issue just something to bear in mind.

Review 16：First of all there should be an information on booking that you would have to clean the cottage before departure. And as it goes the cleanness is not their best feature. Also there is no info about the electricity - you have to buy cards to put in the meter. There is electric heating (unfortunately because of the weather needed also in August), so it's quite expensive.

Review 17：The place is really nice, both the surroundings and the cottges (you can find everything you need in them). Wifi works fine.

Review 18：+ the location is fantastic! Very close to the Dalwhinnie distillery and surrounded by mountains + a nice and quite place where you can spend some relaxing days. + the A9 is very close so you are out in no time.
