Review 1：The apartments were very nice and close to the beach. The room had a perfect sea view. It was also very comfortable with many facilities! The owners were really polite, friendly and welcoming!
Review 2：On arrival there was no one around and the place looked closed. The pool had been drained of water and there were no chairs in the garden area. However it was the end of October. We did wonder if we had made a mistake. Eventually we were met by a lady who seemed surprised to see us and was a little abrasive (to begin with). We explained that we thought the pool would be open. She stated they had closed for the season. We decided to stay in the end because the stress of finding somewhere new wasn't ideal for a short stay. The room was good although a few teething problems (mouldy fridge but this was cleaned when we pointed it out), broken toilet seat which I fixed myself and broken sink plug (no drainage) so I took it out. We didnt get a receipt for the cash we paid in the end, but it didn't bother us really. After a few days within the resort we escaped to areas further afield and experienced some really unique places. Unfortunately for me this location wasn't ideal (personal choice) and would have preferred something a bit more off the beaten track.
Review 3：The apartment was spacious, with 2 sofa beds and 2 single beds. A kitchen which sufficed for breakfast and a quick lunch. The views were lovely over the sea. Decent bathroom. Plenty of parking. Wifi - although not the strongest of signals. Despite my following comments I did enjoy the apartment but there was a fawlty towers air around it. In the summer when it's open this place would be great if you want an easy beach holiday without having to go to far afield.

Review 5：Very good location, large and comfortable room with all the necessary facilities and with a wonderful view from the balcony. Exceptional and very polite staff!

Review 7：The location is perfect; the three upstairs rooms (two studio's and one 2-room appartment) have a great view on the sea. The building has (at this moment) only three units upstairs and one unit on the ground floor so it is quite private. On day time the large swimming pool, part of a beach club, you share with the (mostly local) visitors so it can be quite crowded, but from 7 pm till 10.30 am you have it all for yourself. The family who runs the apartments and the beach club also have a taverna on the main road and beach chairs/umbrella's on the beach (5 E per set of 2). In the neighboorhood there are plenty of restaurants; the local bus to Rethimnon stops nearby (1,30 E one way).
Review 8：There were only minor downsides which don't affect the overall quality of your stay. The pool was really crowded and as a result wasn't always clean. The beach gets steep very fast so this might be an issue if you're traveling with small kids, but we managed just fine with our 3 yr old. I couldn't pay with credit card upon checkout but these are all minor things and I would definitely stay here again.
Review 9：We had a great stay at the Gold Apartments. This is a family run place with really nice hosts. Our kitchen was well equipped but if you want to eat out there are a number of really good restaurants nearby. Room service every day but the sheets don't get changed daily. The beach was really nice and with very clean water. There owners of the apartments have a bar right in front, where you can have light snacks and drinks. The pool is right in front of the apartment and it can get a bit crowded but the windows are sound proof, so that's good.
