Review 2：The location is perfect; it is literally a 30 second walk to the beach and restaurants and the very cool Mambo Bar! Our room was cleaned every day (although sometimes there was no need for fresh towels daily) and the hotel staff are helpful and friendly.

Review 4：We were the second time at the hotel Bali Star and our stay exceeded all our expectations. It was the complex of pleasures from the morning till night: a big, delicious with so many choices breakfast, smiles and welcome from the cooks and waiters, a clean sparkling room every day, nice bedding and soft clean towels, spotless modernly equipped bathroom, amazing dinner every night with a large selection of the dishes of local cuisine, wonderful evening coffee at the hotel bar… atmosphere of constant care from everyone - we were feeling like home. Whenever you are at the hotel – you feel the elegance and beauty. We had a big balcony with a sea view and spent there almost every late evening enjoying town lights and watching the night sky. The beach is very close to the hotel and very well equipped. You can cool down several steps up at the bar Mambo with a great selection of drinks. Special words about the staff of the hotel: an excellent choice of people, very professional, helpful, and what is important – very caring. Everyone – the management, greeting desk, canteen, kitchen, room service, bars – everybody deserves the best comments. Thank you to all. We really enjoyed staying at Bali Star! This hotel deserves the best rewards.

Review 7：Staff were very happy and friendly, especially the girl on reception (very helpful with good English); the bar man; the waitress at breakfast (always happy!); David (from the bar and breakfast). The bar area and pool are very smart and inviting. Mambo's, the beach bar was superb and very stylish. Everywhere was immaculately clean.

Review 8：TV didn't work initially, had to report it a couple of times before it was sorted. Breakfast was disappointing. powdered reconstituted orange juice from a machine, undercooked bacon and cold coffee. Hotel was more geared up for Russians,who were by far the majority staying there.

Review 10：Some rooms are small with poor exposure to the sun so dark. I'd recommend taking care to specify if you would like a sunny balcony or pool view. Guests smoke inside at the bar.

Review 12：There was some problem with the lock not properly solved and not even fixed to the future. (this was really strange to me, even the handling of the situation by staff) Some "special move" with the door was shown to me, but it was useless as the cleaning lady didn't do it and my room stayed unlocked. Nothing was lost or stolen but still a feeling of discomfort was all over me when thinking about unlocked room. I believe it will be solved and this place will become even better.

Review 13：Comfort, easiness.

Review 14：We arrived after midnight to a hot room and the air conditioner broken. Couldn't open the doors because of the loud boom boom boom of the nightclub nearby. Needed to use earplugs to sleep even with doors closed.

Review 15：Staff moved our room within an hour of requesting in the morning to a room with a functioning air condition - which was greatly appreciated. The buffet breakfast was tasty, the view was great, the pool was lovely, the bar was convenient.

Review 17：Modern decor , meals are great , we do not usually eat dinner in the hotel but the food was so good we ate dinner more than once. Staff very friendly and they drove us to bus station . Bali is a lovely beach area nice to rest after doing the Greek cultural thing. Restful ,clean rooms and comfortable beds. Mara and David in restaurant and the manager all superb.

Review 18：Hotel was wonderful as were the staff ! Great value for money and lovely room overlooking the sea made this a great holiday in a charming resort. Owner made us very welcome and Ivan the barman was charming and extremely professional.

Review 20：We loved the style of the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were second to none, all of them. Treated us like family and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Freshly cooked and the hotel was kept spotless. Would go back tomorrow and will recommend it to friends and family. A hotel with a difference and with the best of everything.

Review 21：It was one of the best vacations in our life. Bali Star is a contemporary, renovated, elegant and well designed hotel. We enjoyed the stay from the first minutes. Our big Junior Suite was always perfectly cleaned, bathroom and shower cabin were spotless, very nice bedding. We had a large private balcony with a spectacular view. Breakfast always was with a variety of delicious food, drinks, fruit, local jams and cheese. The beach is in one minute walk from the hotel. The sea is a sheer bliss! In the evening we enjoyed an excellent coffee at the hotel's bar. Special words about the staff of the hotel: great welcome, sweet and helpful reception desk, excellent service at breakfast, nice care of the maids, professional and superb management of the hotel. 10 days were not enough. Dream to come back.

Review 38：I thought that it was a tiny bit noisy. The doors clack shut (can't do anything about it) and there are lots of kids so the halls get kind of noisy. We didn't get too bothered by it however

Review 39：Overall, our stay was good. The hotel is well located just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the little village with restaurants. You can do just about anything within a few minutes walk. The facilities are very nice with the pool, bar area very nice and fun to hang out at. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were quite modern, new, clean and spacious with a nice, large balcony and a very large shower. The room comes with nice tv, fridge, safe (although you have to pay extra).

Review 40：It was very noisy in the streets-loud music, teenagers driving loud motorcycles after 10 pm, I chose this hotel as it has no night entertainment, and to my regret couldn't sleep .So it isn't a place for a quiet rest.

Review 42：Disco on beach at end of hotel garden which played "bum bum " music until 4 am and later.very loud. Cafe at same beach playing loud disco Muzak all day - complained to cafe but they not interested.The guy who collects the service charges and serves drinks (complete with a football shirt with UNICEF ) was rude and not concerned with my concerns - what a pity as such a nice place.
