Review 1：We stayed for one night as a starting point to visit sitia, palekastro and palm tree forest of vai. The apartment was a sea-view one and it was very relaxing to sit in the balcony.

Review 3：We stayed in the hotel during our visit to east crete. The resort is in a very good location next to beaches, the palm tree forest of vai and monastery of toplou. The owners and the people working at this place were very helpful.

Review 4：What you are not told is it's a derelict ghost town with deserted buildings, danger traps for kids to fall into, definitely a danger hazard and definitely not for kids. Chances are while walking through, plaster or rusty window panes may fall on your head. On the other hand, you get what you pay for and for 80 euros for 1 night for 4 with breakfast included, not a bad deal.

Review 5：Pool , although with sea water, clean, huge, with a life guard on site, nice breakfast.Friendly staff who do their best to make up for the hazards.

Review 6：The village is made of 400 appartments but very few (maybe 20?) had guests therefore the village was litterally empty and it shows in terms of maintanance: main pool closed; shops closed; buildings deteriorated. Above all there is no beach.

Review 8：Many houses totally damaged with walls collapsing, broken windows and plaster falling from ceilings. Don't loose your kids out of sight! 80% of the village resort is a ghost town. Photos of the resort on booking.com missleading and outdated many years.

Review 12：I loved the location overlooking the sea and Sitia in the background. It had a wonderful swimming pool and friendly staff to assist with drinks etc.It was peaceful and the ideal resort to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean sea and hope to return another day

Review 14：We recently stayed at the Dionysos Village and this was one of the best holidays we've ever had,,,the real Crete!!!! Dionysos is perfect as it is not right in the hustle and bustle of Sitia, but a very pleasant 10 minute drive away, so you have the peace and tranquility, but you are also able to go into Sitia and the surrounding beautiful areas, including Vai and Toplou, quickly and easily. The new management at the Dionysos have really made a huge difference to the place, as it has a fresh glow to it, including the fantastic pool and the bar area, where you can sit with a cold beer overlooking the sea. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The apartment we stayed in was spotless and very well maintained. Plenty of room for us both and so peaceful, we slept better than we have in years. Dionysus really is a hidden gem in the area, and we would not hesitate to go back. A truly unforgettable break in beautiful surroundings and all for such great value too. Ten out of ten.

Review 15：The front pool was not operating and kid play ground was not operating also (the place was abandoned).. The front of the hotel has nothing to do with the photos i have seen in booking.com.. The rear pool was operating along with the kid pool..

Review 17：1) The hotel's description about access to the beach (called analoukas beach) is misleading: the beach is at a certain distance and it is not inviting (constantly rough/windy)2) the rooms are not accessible by car, the car parking is at a large distance carom the hotel rooms: when my car alarm went off, I couldn't hear it at all. I didn't feel safe about my car 3) the hotel rooms are part of a village, which is owned by various legal entities - one of them is the hotel. As a result, there is no central management of the place. Some buildings are abandoned, giving a really sad impression to the visitor
