Review 1：The only essential thing that this hotel could improve is related to the cleaning services, specifically: - We had repeatedly problems with clean towels, that actually were not 100% clean, but showed dirt spots. I do not think they were not washed, but probably should be washed at a higher temperature and using better detergent. In one day we had to ask for another new towels, because the stains were big and obvious. - we repeatedly noticed that crockery, cutlery and glasses at breakfast were not properly washed (1 of 3 cups showed coffee signs, for example) Apart from this, we would like to suggest the property to change from time to tome the breakfast menu. Although it is very diversified and good, during the 9 days that we spent there, I felt the need for some variation. Also the recipe for coffee should be changed, it is very-very poor.

Review 2：We liked the following aspects of this property: - Location: is very close (1 minute walk) of a street where you can find many restaurants and pubs, where you can enjoy a very tasty meal. On the same street there is a very well-stocked supermarket, and several souvenir shops. The beach is also close, though not extraordinary (the water is shallow and a little messy). Also, if you have a car is very easy to get to Rethymnon, which is the most picturesque city of Crete, in my opinion. - The room (One bedroom studio) is spacious and has everything you need. It is equipped with 2 very good ACs.The beds are very comfortable. Quite rare and usually only 4-5 star hotels have such comfortable mattresses. - The staff is friendly and they solve you any request - Although the cleaning services had a few issues, they were performed regularly every day. Sheets were changed 2 times in 9 days, which is good.

Review 5：the AC (supposedly they normally charge for it) didn't work properly on an extremely hot day and didn't really cool down the room but we were too lazy to complain. the shower cubicle is tiny. there was only one fork. as usual artifical orange "juice". according to the confirmation we should have had a 2-room apartments with a separate living room, which was not the case, though I didn't realise that until the next hotel apartment. I guess that's why we were asked for the voucher on arrival, which I never print off

Review 8：Great staff who are always happy to help with where to go and where not to go! We was on our honeymoon and had the time of out life's Artur the manger is a great guy who can't help enough and was always fully armed with great bar drinks! Maria we only met once but spend a good half hour with me and the map showing great spots to visit, we feel a car is essential if you want to see the real crete. George the owner was also very polite and was quick to respond to questions I had before our arrival. Free wifi with better range than my house! And a very decent breakfast, thanks guys we will be returning next year for sure! :)

Review 9：Room/apartment not suitable for family of 4 because sofa bed are notsuitable for grown ups. Upon arrival original booking was not availableso staff put us in smaller spare apartment. I never seen smaller buffetfor breakfast and choice were poor. Music in the neighborhood was toloud on Saturday night and hotel have no influence on this event and nosleep until 3 am. Beach and city are too far for walk.

Review 10：We enjoyed our stay at La Stella Hotel. This boutique hotel has a good location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The staff were helpful and very friendly and the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Our room was fantastic and the beds were the best! We would recommend the La Stella Hotel for any visitor to Crete.

Review 21：The hotel is situated near a quite busy road. When you shut the windows and turn the airco on the sounds wasn't noticable. It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Next to the hotel there are no tavernas or shops, but you'll find everything you need within walking distance. Wifi reeption was good in the lobby, but very poor in te rooms.

Review 22：Very nicely decorated small hotel with spacious apartments and the most comfortable beds in the whole of Crete!! Breakfast is included and really elaborated and of good quality (we didn't understand the remarks about the breakfast being simple. We travelled all trough Crete and we were used to pay € 7 a person for a breakfast much smaller than this one). Staff was really helpfull and friendly as well.

Review 25：Very nice experience overall. In total my family stayed in this hotel for 4 weeks. Very calm which was important for us because of the child. Not right at the beach but within pleasant 10 minutes walk. The beach is clean and wide in this area. The waves sometimes were too high so some days we couldn't swim in the sea. Nice lobby/bar/pool area. Lots of shops and nice tavernas/bars around. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds and linens. Cleaning, linen and towels change was daily or every other day. Sunbeds really comfortable to some we have sunned our selfs on over the years .
