Review 5:Friendly owner, excellent breakfast. The room was lovely but a little chilly due to weather and the fact we were the first guests after a 3 week break, however it didn't really matter as the bed was extremely comfortable and the duvet warm and cozy. Arrived in the dark but the view at breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again .

Review 12:We stayed two nights at the Old Dairy. Liz was out host and she is fantastic. She is extremely welcoming. The room was huge and the bed was very comfrotable. Amazing bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary cold drinks. Breakfast was delicious. Review 22:My wife did not like drive over the final few miles back into The Old Dairy Bishops Barton because they were on very narrow lanes.
Review 23:The whole experience was very pleasant because my wife and I enjoy the quiet countryside more than the clamor and press of an urban setting. Clean quiet room with an excellent full English breakfast served by the gracious owner. Walking paths nearby as was a very fine pub.

We were offered lifts to and from a lovely restaurant and enjoyed an excellent dining experience there.A lovely part of the world and would definitely stay again. They thought of absolutely everything, also the breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts ever,
Review 25:small dark bedroom, walk to the pub, [part of the promotion] seemed dangerous, especially in the twilight; narrow roads and no footpaths. Tomato sales. I hope I have written enough for my comments to qualify.
Review 26:Nice buildings, beautiful Dahlia gardens, devoted hostess, very nice bathroom. I am typing this so that I can meet the 200 word requirement for comments. I hope that is enough.
Review 27:Nothing to dislike.

Review 31:Liz & Steve, the owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was easy to travel to both N and S coasts and the many NT properties nearby. Location is beautiful with stunning views and the most gorgeous garden. Room extremely clean and comfortable with all the usual tea/coffee making facilities beautifully presented. Stylish and modern with excellent ensuite. Really good breakfasts. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the owners and we would thoroughly recommend for an overnight or longer stay.

Review 34:We all loved everythig about The Old Dairy. I booked the place solely on reviews. However, I had a very bad experience recently at a place where was booked same way. Everything looked just how I wanted on screen. I still was preparing myself for something, anything to be disappointing. How wrong I was. The Old Dairy has a wow factor on every level. Set in beautiful garden. The rooms have character and yet clutter free and spotlessly clean. For someone like me who has OCD on hygiene and cleanliness, you have no idea what a joyful experience that was. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious served with with home made bread. If we ever come down this part of the country, I do not need to look for a place to stay.
Review 35:The rooms are furnished to a high standard, all immaculate. Owners are very nice and offer a excellent service. Area is out in rural Somerset but well worth staying there, views and grounds are stunning. We can't wait to stay again soon. Many thanks to Liz and Steve.

Review 65:Absolutely nothing
Review 66:Beautifully appointed en suite room set in well tended gardens. I'm not generally a great sleeper when away from home but the bed was so comfortable I almost overslept! At breakfast whilst I only opted for scrambled egg and bacon as opposed to the full works the eggs were simply wonderful! I will certainly look to use Bishops Barton next time I'm stopping over on business.
Review 67:It would be useful to have a well placed mirror in the 4 poster room Ditto a coffee table in that room A common area like a lounge where friends (we were 4) and other guests could meet and sit about comfortably (with a log fire?!) would elevate The Old Dairy from very good to outstanding, ultimate country location....
Review 68:As above - location on a higher ground and views, building aesthetics, quality of build & finish and friendliness- from Rizla the cat to Liz n Steve. Comfortable rooms, accessible parking that is unobtrusive.
