Review 15：in short…everything !!! The staff (everyone) was outstanding in terms of what they wanted to do to make you feel welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Spa is one of the best we've ever visited and again the service is impeccable.

Bar service on the evening was slow - took ten minutes to charge two drinks to the room as bar staff didn't have the correct card to access their till meaning I missed the first dance of the newly weds.. Check out is 11 am so no chance to use the spa as this is charged extra after 11 am

Review 33：The room hadn't been dusted properly for at least a week looking at the dust that had gathered and it was pretty obvious in certain areas. I would expect better cleanliness for what you pay here for a room. We stayed in Tiplady lodge. A cloth had been 'run across' the tops,but no care taken to clean properly or in between things. I also wasn't keen on kids being allowed to dive bomb into the swimming pool.That's not even allowed in my local swimming pool and this was supposed to be a relaxing spa pool. So that was a bit of a let down.

The extra touches,such as defrosting my car for me before we left and having a car pick us up and take us to the clubhouse on the evening for our meal made the experience extra special. The food at breakfast and in the clubhouse was very nice. The staff members in every area where fantastic.

Review 39：The lack of loungers around the pool. If you have 50 guests, then you should have 50 loungers. Having hotel residents looking for loungers and then being evicted after 30 mkinutes of non occupation (when each treatment is around 20 minutes) is simply unacceptable at this price! In addition, when you put a shirt ibn for laundry, do you really expect a handwritten note telling you of a power failure at the usual dry cleaners? Also, some of the furniture was in poor condition and of poor quality with scratched and marked tables and sofas that had collapsed. Considering that this is being marketed as the premier destination in the North East, this was extremely surprising.

The spa was out of this world. Breakfast was second to non, apart from not being able to pour your own OJ. The grounds and the hotel are beautiful, and after check out we relaxed in the drawing room for a couple of hours looking out at the golf course.

Review 102：This hotel is wonderful, from the phone call 2 days prior to arrival asking "if there was anything they could do for us on arrival" to the complimentary bottled water for our journey upon checkout, Rockliffe Hall has thought of everything to make your experience with them as pleasurable as possible. The staff are attentive to every need you may have, the dining options are varied both in style and cater for every budget and the spa is just out of this world.

Review 103：The check in time is 3pm, if you want to arrive early, say 1 or 2 pm and use the pool etc, they wanted to charge an extra £30 p/p. a little greedy I thought.
